For everyone currently practicing, I watched this video about 5 months ago and I turned my 2 feet long manual to 25 feet manual. KEY TO THIS TRICK IS LISTENING WHAT'S HE'S SAYING. Practice every day at least an hour of constant nose manualing and stretch your wrist and chest. Coz it'll hurt..Especially the next day. Also, don't get way to comfortable with jumping over the bars coz you might find yourself jumping over them even when you dont have to (when you're not steep enough for you to actually have to jump over to avoid eating shit) . Over time, you'll be so comfortable that your bike would be tilted extremely steep and you'll be holding onto it with everything you can and delivering that trick. It's still scary trick but if you already know what you're capable of.. I wish more people realize that this trick takes time for everyone..
Thanks for this. I can hang 5 for days but cant nose manual for shit... What % of weight do you keep on the pedals when doing nose manuals?? My feet keep coming off!
@@nofood1 that's actually a really good question and I had the same problem. There should be absolutely no pressure on the pedals. Not at all. And with your feet slipping off, I guess it's probably the wrong entry. I remember stop slipping off when I entered them more smoothly and generally getting em steeper. Don't really know why it kept happening but this make sense to me
John Reder cheers man, i rode today for like an hour but was trying pedal hang 5's like Brad recommended, attempeted a couple nose manuals my feet weren't slipping much, I was putting a lot of weight on my arms feels weird but I see it's what everyone says I should do. Will continue to battle 💪
The reason why this trick was so hard back then is the forks offset upgrade your forks to 13mm 15mm or 18mm offset and that would make it easier to learn
i was learning hang 5's but always found i struggle to let the bike go with my hands and step over it when i go to far forward, any advice to fix this?
Excellent how to! Why can't everyone else be as detailed on their how to's like Broc was in this one? Many thanks Ride and Broc for posting!
