    I feel like you are missing the equivalent of Petzl Dual Connect Adjust. Was there a reason not to create something similar ? Or maybe just not to displease one of your partner ?
    I like having both 1 adjust and 1 static, quite useful for using 1 to clip to the anchor and the second one to to abseil (away from belay loop).

    The length can be quickly adjusted using the rope clamp - even if under load!!
    Dose it mean that it can be "released" under load???

      If you (intentionally) tilt the rope clamp, you can adjust the length of the SWITCH ADJUST even if under load. It is not made to abseil or anything alike so you will have a hard time to adjust the length if you hang in the device with your full bodyweight or even more load though.

      @@edelrid Just bought one piece to try, quite impressive. The one is very smooth to adjust the length, even when hanging with full bodyweight though using the correct technique is must. Good job.

  • @UAkesson

    When can one expect to find these products in the stores? And what is the projected price?

    • @edelrid
      @edelrid  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Ulrik, the Switch family should be available everywhere in the next few days / weeks. The Switch Adjust is 60 euros, the Switch 20 euros and the Switch Double 25 euros.
      Get in touch if you have any further questions.
      Many greetings from the Allgäu

    Hi. May I ask why they can't be used for via ferrata ?

    • @JacobLikesMusic
      @JacobLikesMusic Рік тому

      For via ferrata you need some special thing with shock absorbtion, because the fall could be very hard if you are clipped into something static, like metal. When you use a lanyard in a climbing situation you avoid slack, you just hang on it mostly. Falling while climbing is softened by many meters (usually) of dynamic climbing rope.
