You could make 4 sims who each live in a season themes house and then switch between households for each season so you are always at the right house in the right season!
Or with simrealist mod where ur sims can own multiple homes, just switch your family to different homes based on the season :) kinda like summer/vacation homes in real life!
Okay but this would be awesome for gameplay, have 4 families to swap between and because of neighborhood stories now it would be interesting to see what's changed since the last time you played them!!
My boss decorates his house for every season. His house is over 200 years old. He’s quite the decorator. Always in awe of how many decorations he puts up inside and out. It’s always amazing to see his pictures when he takes them.

I swear I've never seen the little saucer lamp in game! 😱 Love this build and the color scheme. Personally I love the use of the teal stove as I too usually use the same appliances in my build! It can be so hard to branch out.
To have the swing set in the front is actually very nice, because it’s accessible to neighbouring children as well. Especially if your child is swinging on it and any friends walk by.
28, 2 kids. Never paid for cable. Actually lived in my first apartment at 22 without internet for a year. Streaming and UA-cam keeps us happy. Also, just got cottage living so building so many little cottages, my son just requested an all blue one!

As a Texan, I feel you about how hot it is. I never get to wear cute autumnal outfits, cuz I'd sweat to death. And I don't watch "normal" TV either, because I hate commercials. I have a couple streaming services and UA-cam. I'm good.
Fall is about the only time (except summer) I LOVE to live in Finland where you can see the season change! The weather turns chilly but not too cold and the colors are AMAZING! It smells so good and the evenings in candlelight when it slowly gets darker outside just seals the deal! My favorite season by far!
Finland fall colours are INSANE. I'm from Austria and I thought we had a pretty nice fall season but I went to Helsinki one October a couple of years ago and I have NEVER seen so many different coloured leaves, and they are so vibrant too! Soumenlinna was the prettiest place I have ever seen in my life.

Before I retired from teaching to have kids, my Mum (also a teacher) and I used to come over to Florida for 6 weeks in the summer. We loved the regular thunderstorms and how predictable the weather was. We spent so much time in the pool and shopping. It was wonderful. Or driving down to the gulf to sit in the water. Came home to the UK to damp, grey and drizzle. Funny, isn't it. Mind you, it was 40 degrees C here this summer, which is too hot. None of us have air con.
The heat waves you were having over there were so intense! I was so grateful for my air conditioning, it was hot here too (I'm in Iowa) but we're set up to handle it so as long as we don't spend too much time outside it's not too bad.
Summer is almost over! As much as I love summer, I am ready for the fall- hopefully cooler weather (though knowing NC that's not the case), Halloween, and spending time with families as we get ready for the holidays! Excited for more fall builds if you do more!!!
My parents grew up in New England. When they moved to Florida to live with my grandparents my mom only lasted a year. She couldn't handle the lack of seasons and the heat and refused to stay any longer. I'm so glad we're finally seeing cooler temps and I can start turning my AC off and still be comfortable enough to sleep, so ready for Fall

Also when it comes to cable, my husband worked as a cable guy for the first 8 years of our marriage so we got cable for free and it was nice but once he quit we cancelled it and hardly ever miss it.

(brit here) Interesting fact here, but in the UK you annually pay for a TV license which covers our international news and TV, the BBC (British broadcasting channel) and at least for my family we mainly pay for our TV license and cable for the news (but also some of the shows that my family religiously watches).

For TV: watching tv is an experience that streaming can’t compete with in my opinion, flipping through channels and putting on random episodes removes me sitting there for 30 minutes trying to pick a show, so if I just want to watch TV, cable is better. But, if I know what I want to watch streaming is better.

AND streaming services.

She’s not feeling the best right now…has slowed down a lot today and I know her time is limited. But she seemed to respond to your voice and I wanted to thank you for giving my old cat comfort. She’s one I found at a truck stop/gas station a couple of years ago. Nobody claimed her and being FIV+, I couldn’t find someone that wanted to adopt her, so she became a member of our household. Thanks again for making her feel a little better. 🙂😽
This house is so cute and cozy! A perfect autumnal home 🥰 Also I moved out when I was 18 and used just UA-cam as entertainment for several years, not even streaming services! Even after I got a tv, I balked at the cost of even basic cable in Canada, it’s ridiculous 😅 I get plenty of entertainment out of UA-cam and a couple basic streaming services, for only about $25 per month which is far better!

I'm 31 and never paid for cable in my life. I absolutely used my parents info for a while to access the Food Network app (love me a cookin' show) but once they moved and that account was severed I've just hopped between the usual streaming culprits.
I will say, last year, we moved from a place that had actual seasons (leaf changing and occasional snow) to central Florida. The bright happy constant summer sunshine has done a number on my psyche that craves sweaters, dead leaves, pumpkins, and cozy drinks with a horror movie around this time of year. I miss Fall.

My neighbors actually just added a whole little patio set up in their front yard, including string lights and a space to project football games on the house and it’s so strange to me but I love it 😂 They also built a big catio off the back of their house and I’m VERY jealous of that
The only reason I ever have a TV is when I have a sim working on knitting. I have them watch the cooking channel and knit at the same time and they build both skills simultaneously.
Most of the good tv channels in Germany are public broadcast so you got to pay them with a tax. But that way you can just stream them on the internet and you don’t need to pay for cable extra :)

I'm 31 and never paid for cable in my life.
I absolutely used my parents info for a while to access the Food Network app (love me a cookin' show) but once they moved and that account was severed I've just hopped between the usual streaming culprits.
So glad I live in mn bc we have all the seasons, but fall is by far my favorite (especially considering winter lasts 5 months here lol)

I will say, last year, we moved from a place that had actual seasons (leaf changing and occasional snow) to central Florida. The bright happy constant summer sunshine has done a number on my psyche that craves sweaters, dead leaves, pumpkins, and cozy drinks with a horror movie around this time of year. I miss Fall.

My neighbors actually just added a whole little patio set up in their front yard, including string lights and a space to project football games on the house and it’s so strange to me but I love it 😂 They also built a big catio off the back of their house and I’m VERY jealous of that

The only reason I ever have a TV is when I have a sim working on knitting. I have them watch the cooking channel and knit at the same time and they build both skills simultaneously.

Most of the good tv channels in Germany are public broadcast so you got to pay them with a tax. But that way you can just stream them on the internet and you don’t need to pay for cable extra :)
