i am sure you could get a linear actuator for whatever voltage your battery pack is , that would easily be strong enough to raise and lower deck by remote as well . Great job and thanks for the ideas in video . I was thinking wheelchair motors for mine but the hover board seems like a great and cheaper way ....
I also had considered instead of a standard mower blade installing a flywheel with swinging short blades extending from the flywheel to make a brush hog type mower . like instead of a 20 inch blade a 10 inch flywheel with 2 (loose if you would )5 inch swinging blades . like a tractor bush hog . Maybe have to cut the front open . ?
i hope you can help me out here i have the same remote and receiver as you do. i think your circuit board is different from mine. i have it connected to a left side board i tried one firmware pwm seem to work while another ppm firmware only makes my wheels spin non stop. i would like to try to connect this firmware but dont know "which file exactly i need to upload" stm? i also see you have three wires connected to the receiver where the the red and black connected to and what about the white?
There is a page here with instructions github.com/EFeru/hoverboard-firmware-hack-FOC/wiki#getting-started , also there are videos on youtube about this.
Oh, it's easy to make things when you have those furry helpers around 😺😺
