J is pronounced as Y in Estonian, so it is Kalamaya. I've never looked forward to videos about Estonia as much as I do yours. Your presentation is so interesting.

Actually in most of Europe J is a I-like sound. You could search for a map of it (à la “J pronunciation Europe map”) and other letters too, e. g. C and G. It might be eye-opening.
You probably know more about Tallinn than I do 😆

You both look to be so genuinely nice people! ❤️ Thanks for showing our beautiful Tallinn! I hope you’ll come back in summer and see also other beautiful cities and places in Estonia. Our beautiful islands especially Kuressaare in Saaremaa island, also Haapsalu, Viljandi, Tartu, Setumaa, Pärnu, go hiking in the forests and bogs, see our beautiful seaside in north of Estonia. I wish you had some local Estonian showing you around and taking you to a proper sauna ☺️ Thanks you both!

In summer definitely go and visit Keila juga (Keila waterfall), Taevaskoda, Tallinn or Tartu's botanics garden, the Tallinn zoo ofc. Some of the national parks and bogs.
I dont know if you are a fan of swimming and spa's but we have a lot of spas here, alot of them are really good and with different choices of sauna. I would recommend 2 Spa's in Narva-Jõesuu. During summer it is really beautiful, lots of nature. lots of berries and mushrooms u can eat straight from the forest:D

Graffiti / Street Art is quite big in Estonia. In one of your earlier videos you visited Linnahall which actually had it's hole western side covert in it. Though they didn't even get to finish it before someone from the someone in official noticed it and found out it didn't have the proper paperwork by the guy who ordered it. So they washed most of it off. Last time I drove past it there was a little bit left but not sure if that part has been removed as well... In my opinion they should have covered it all in graffiti. It would have certainly become a bigger tourist attraction and a more interesting place to visit.

This Balti Turg (market) is quite new. There was a very dirty and ugly market for long and it took time to have an upgrade. A lot of people still lives in stone age. Money can be earned only by very big muscles or by a very dogged mind.
There is a lot of luxury here in Estonia, yeah but most of those are not accessible for them who really must work. :)
The burger you are eating equals to 1 hour very painful, unhealthy and dangerous job.

@@cherochow Hi Cheryl! :) In the end of may, it is around 20C (68F) this year. Could be 5C more or less. In southern parts of Estonia it is usually few degrees warmer in the spring, because near the sea (Tallinn included) the water at sea cools the warm air down a bit, the opposite happens in autumn. I live in southern part, so in some years the temp has been near 30C (86F) here, end of may, at the moment it is 14C already, it goes up quick. More windy in Tallinn too. I like greenery and nature in the spring, especially the scent of flowering bird cherry trees all around the bushes along country roads at that time, and fresh leaves of birch. You may find some places here - www.visitestonia.com/en/why-estonia/10-unusual-attractions-to-see-in-estonia The sauna, similar to what is pictured, is what we do at our home regularly.
