- Join me as I continue travelling through Xinjiang, this time I'm in Kashgar in the south of the region. I've wanted to go to Kashgar for years, specifically to see the Ancient City of Kashgar. From its bustling main street, to its serene back-alleys, this place truly is beautiful. I meet a few of the locals, speak to someone who grew up in the Ancient City, sample the freshest pomegranate juice I've ever had, and also show off my terrible dancing skills. Apologies for said dancing skills.
Next episode: I go to Xinjiang Naan Bread Heaven!

I live in Singapore, I have a cousin lived in urumqi, she told me that now the street people in xinjiang are not willing to accept the foreign media, because be afraid of these foreign media to intercept a not complete picture to discredit the xinjiang, after I heard very sad, hope more wants to travel to xinjiang friendly foreigners like JianGuo, you did a great thing bro!!
It is really sad really. Showed this to my friend, he said, of course he not showing the place with genocide. It it saddened me that the West propaganda embedded deep in people belief in this fabled, fabricated story. Funnily enough, with much evidence of Israeli killing the Palestinian childrens, people willing to turn a blind eye to that. 😢😭
@@daisuke910 shows ur friend so brainwashed they doesn’t know the meaning of genocide. If i knew my people where being genocide u think I would be living my life normal like these people. Shows ur friend just wants to believe in the BS and makes excuses to hate a country or government.
@@whtdafuk1701 I know. But also, i didnt know that one of Malaysia's news has this on their website. And the comments are quite believing what the propaganda says. Quick question, is there a place in the US, Canada or Australia that preserve and promote the native culture and showing them to the world? Is there a Native American city with all culture and building preserved?
Canada has Indigenous schools so yes.
@@DonaldGTrump oh that one that they found 215 children remains? Hokay
NO THEY DONT EXIST ANYMORE!
Even the aboriginal Indians are long extinct,
USA is full of Greed
Ha, nice question
@@DonaldGTrump I think you're just being sarcastic here but for everyone who doesn't know, the residential schools were the real "re-education camps" that the west claims China is running. They were basically camps designed to "wash away" the indigenous culture of children across 7 generations.
They were run together by the Church and the Canadian Federal government and were the sites of tortures, abuse and sexual assault. Children were not given permission to visit their parents unless under special permission and It is estimated that over 6000 children died which are only the documented deaths.
Last week, a mass grave of 215 indigenous children (youngest being 3) were found in British Columbia and they are believed to all be undocumented deaths. This can hardly be considered history as the last residential school closed in 1996 but the effects are still felt by the first nations people to this very day.
I shared this vlog on my FB account right after I saw it which got me excited! Xinjiang is defo on my list to visit. It's interesting that China bashers most of 'em have not even been to China before. I visited China twice before the FB era when they still used cash. From my observation I'd say that issues like Racism is just NOT in the psyche of mainland Chinese, since HISTORICAL times if you may. They have better things to do! I observed that they are really RESPECTFUL to different religions I remember seeing a 'halal' section in the university canteen. The CCP being Atheist does NOT mean the people are Atheists, it just means that the CCP is NOT interested to focus on the religious dimension. Don't be NAIVE, GROW UP, And look at where China is now! There are 54 ethnic minorities, and there is No need for #StopAsianHate #BlackLivesMatter or equivalent, they do not need these things. China is so vast that the not so nice experience one may have of China, is just 0.0001% of what the whole experience could offer. It is unfortunate that some remain fixated on the misinformation.

Here in Canada people are blindly accepting 100% and pushing the uyghur genocide story. I just came from another video where a politician was outright confronting and forcing another on video to make a stance on condemning this “genocide”. Comment section were all applauding and thanking him for doing the right thing for Canada. Frankly it’s sickening. I try to think that there are people that are more open minded but right now this is political correctness for the west.
Being a Canadian myself I 100% agree with you, they call the Chinese brainwashed, but look what we’ve been trained to do?
This is the results of many years of propaganda work done by the US. Those western medias are the worst enemy to this world because they create hatreds among people by spreading fake news and distorting the truths.
the trouble is many countries are supporting US on their anti-China crusade.. regardless of the facts.
political correctness can be controled. think by yourself, and see by yourself, practice is always the way to seek truth, that is the right thing
Could you share that video? Wanna watch it too!
If not for the occasional Chinese characters, I would’ve thought it might have been some other country like Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan. It’s amazing how China has developed the entire area and still kept the original authentic Uighur culture.

It is so beautiful. You are so lucky. I was so stupid for not coming to Xinjiang. At least they preserved the traditional architecture and culture.
anyone who doesn't like this video must be jealous of the delicious food in Xinjiang. :)
I hope soon the covid can be over and I can fly back to China and visit all the interesting places. And of course, delicious food!!!!
I watch one vlog from Annie Guli channel, she bought a large meat skewer/kebab (idk the exact name) in Grand Bazaar and it looks soooo tasty😍😋 Seriously, I want to visit Xinjiang there when our country have effectively contained the covid but we might not be seeing it anytime soon😔

It's a really beautiful region , neat clean with amazing bazars architecture & the most thing is that rebuild or renovation of old city with modern facilities & eco environment friendly atmosphere.

Wow it really looks spectacular! I am planning to visit Xinjiang province in the next couple of weeks but have been told very mixed things about traveling there alone and have been told it’s best to be part of a tour. My Chinese isn’t so great, but I was still planning to just go and have an adventure regardless! What do you think?
If your Chinese isn't great then it'll be tough. Especially given the distance between places. It'd certainly be an adventure but if I were you I'd go with a group. It'd just make things easier and you'll probably see more. Whatever you choose to do, hope you have fun!
ANY CITIES IN CHINA 🇨🇳 👀 ARE PEACEFUL ✌ 😌 N SAFE ONLY E JEALOUS PPL ARE THEMSELVES ARE VIOLENT FULL OF HATRED.....
Beautiful place! And the streets are so clean!
I see many ethnic minorities and their culture remain in China. But I can’t see the original Indians cultures in the USA. Any ethnic minority group remain in the USA? Or all the ethnic minority groups in the USA had already been genocided?
They're not allowed to practice their language and culture
Actually, I went to a powwow party in USA, Last time when I went there in 2014. It is a traditional native party ( For local indians, not for tourists) with traditional dance, costume, music. But during the whole party, 0 native language has been spoken. It's all in English.
@@clearmindpan4118 Oh my God, this is culture extinction!
Yes there are indigenous culture in USA you aren’t going to be detained for being indigenous or practicing your own culture and lifestyle. Stop the fight. All places have good things just don’t be so prejudicial because that’s precisely what make people more divided
@@tulukdek8898 even I am confused so I have a question, have you ever seen a country that commit genocide? Like Israel on Palestinians , Myanmar to Rohiniya, USA almost every year, just look how disastrous and awful pictures come from those areas. If China would be committing any genocide in Xinjiang, so you think Xinjiang would look as beautiful as it is. Genocide is big thing, it disturbs the entire country, but Xinjiang looks more beautiful than most of world.
Looks at India’s Kashmir, how painful pictures come from there, although there is no genocide is going on Kashmir, but hash crack down on separatists. And look what Kashmir has became. China openly agrees it is also fighting separatism in Xinjiang but does it look genocide.
Western media claims and compare Uighur genocide with Holocaust, does it look like Holocaust?
What is happening in Israel Palestine is all clear. USA backed Israel army is bombing missile on families of a Palestine. Can any country declared it genocide? Irony is these countries who call them self defender of human right are the biggest threat to human right. I am not Chinese IT cell member, and I support Uighur rights. But does it look like genocide?
Thanks for the video.

How beautiful, colorful and clean there
