Yes, Robert Johnson’s arrangements are honestly some of the hardest to get down for me too. Especially his use of the “drone” thumb that sometimes changes what beat it lands on. To be honest, I learned (what I have which is nowhere near Johnson or others) from a book that lays out his works and from watching videos of great guitarists like Eric Clapton, Big Bill Broonzy, and Skip James who used similar styles or did covers of Robert Johnson.
