You said it. Because Mr Bean, the fallen angel, has reached his Holy Day. The words of the song "La Mer" actually reference this, though the song and the movie were separated by decades. "The sea in the summer sky mingles its white sheep with the angels so pure". This Mr Bean is a different one, he is kinder and he even gained a kind of family. He redeemed himself in that way. Of course the first scene in the movie is when Mr Bean is inspired while in a London church... The Church is that of St. Barnabas, and Mr Bean wins his holiday apparently by chance, in a raffle. But that is NOT by chance. St Barnabas is the saint of peacekeeping missions. Not sure even Richard Curtis and co. (or Rowan himself) realise all of that. In the last scene, Bean passes the fish in the tank (symbol of Christianity) and then sees the palm trees that remind us of the Saviour's entry into Jerusalem. There are MANY other signs if you look for them. All down to the Holy Spirit and his inspiring of culture.
I love how Mr Bean gave them all happiness. Stepan may have been separated from his parents, but he experienced an epic adventure and still got back to his parents in the end without a scratch. Mr Bean gave Sabine a spotlight in the film that made her earn fame. The movie also worked out due to his additional recorded video. Everyone had their happy ending and enjoyed their time at the beach. ❤❤
Seriously, the way Bean walks down to the beach with a top of the vehicles like stairs makes me think that this scene requires no CGI at all, just all practical.
Indeed, fallen angel Bean finally had his Holy Day, having won the chance to take the trip in a raffle taking place in a church at the beginning of the film. In translation, the lyrics of "La Mer" include ... "The sea In the summer sky merges His white sheep with the angels so pure. The sea - azure shepherdess, infinite". Not even sure the makers realised this. But then the Holy Spirit is one of the makers of this movie, so perfection is what we can expect, and - if we look, we can see at least a bit of that. I can. You too!
It's no longer a story that the world is experiencing a global economic downturn, I'm so happy that I've been receiving $64,000 from my $15,000 investment every 8 days

If this were the last time we ever saw Mr Bean on tv or on film i'd admit it was the absolute perfect send off. Simply beautiful.
This is definitely the better movie of the two.

The last appearance of Mr Bean was in a commercial in 2019, the last episode was in 2015 for comic relief. I htink it is safe to say he is ogne now.

One of the most underrated films of all time.
Um no lol 😂
You don't know what underrated means
This film was my childhood, somehow the first time I ever knew of Mr. Bean
Indeed, it is Magnificent!
Underated means that people did not take it seriously

It was practical. The DVD has behind the scenes footage of that. The only CGI done was to remove the wires that Rowan Atkinson was on.
@@timlemmens1087 Nice! practical effects outshines CGI for us.
@@kotchapakmaneechote2062 Sometimes I see CGI for things that I feel they could have done practically.
From Reuniting Stephan to his parents to be a successful movie boomer to final joy of destiny the visiting for beach

*Mr. Bean ultimate best ending*
What an epic film!!!
Loved it as a kid so so funny
Um no
Remember when movies used to be magical like this?
It feels like it was done in a different century. A time where 25 million were enough to make a funny movie that did not feel small at all.
A really, really brilliant film.
It's the Holy Spirit that makes it so...
Was he in it ?@@sidpheasant7585

Me: Hey Willem, Remember that song? That's beyond the sea in french!
No, “Beyond the Sea” is “La mer” in English. This is the original song.
@@edmerc92 and the corny lyric “beyond the sea” misses the point. Stop looking beyond… it’s the sea itself!
