I just got my cos21 3 weeks ago. Took about 7 weeks, but holidays were included in that time. I had trouble navigating the cosaint order page. I called, Greg answered, we talked, he emailed my build sheet, I ok'd it...paid and the clock started. He's on top of communication most of the time. Solid dude. My pistol....3.5" full rail optic ready 17+1. Weighs less than my staccato c and less recoil, dare I say more accurate. Slide like butter. An alternative to the mass produced staccato. I have 2 but I'm sure I'll end up with an additional cosaint
@@jvz1448 STI is staccato before the rebrand. Also wasn't this guy the old CEO of STI anyways? I would be surprised if his new, smaller shop isn't producing higher quality guns all else being equal. It's easier to make quality pieces of craftsmanship when you're operating at a smaller scale.
it's a business expense if you own a custom 1911/2011 shop, which means it's a tax write-off and an investment in his brand. When it comes to selling 2011s to the tactical crowd, the elephant in the room is always going to be lack of reliability, whether real or perceived, inherent to the platform. If you can successfully make the claim that one of your guns has shot 100,000 rounds without any failures or parts replacements, that ammo will pay for itself. After watching the video I see that it was a firearms trainer not the owner that ran this gun, but that just means there's an even more compelling reason to call the ammo an operational expense. No one wants to take a course with an instructor who isn't demoing drills and proving himself to his students.
Jeeeez.. worst description of their guns.. it has a polymer grip, so the recoil goes back? Wait till we discover metal grips? If you're a new 2011 builder.. I want to know who wears the apron & pushes the file..

So great to hear. Glad you love the Cos21
As an Atlas, STI, Wilson and Nighthawk guy, I can say that my new Cosaint is absolutely amazing! In fact I ordered a 2nd one!
Great to hear Jay. Good luck with it
Better than Staccato?

Yeah he was the ceo but sometimes hard to te if quality is as good or better depending on who he brought with him to make the guns.
👍 I like this trend of more American made 1911 & 2011's.
Agreed Erik
Outstanding
Thanks brother man
EPIC!⚡️💥🔥💯😎⭐️
Very cool. Gotta revisit this company again 👍
Yes you do. Good stuff over there
100k rounds that quite a testament to that mfg’r build quality
Completely agree man
I own one awesome shooter I’m thinking of porting mine
Great interview Dan! Pretty amazing to be able to put 100,000 rounds through a gun & still work perfectly!! Keep them coming Brother!
Sure will John
Great product of NC!
That is true bud
Thank you for your hard work
I appreciate that Jim
Do they use MIM parts??
Awesome interview TFG, we're getting snow again Up North, so you'll be coming home to our winter Wonderland
Oh wonderful!
Very cool video, super cool gun, love that they used aluminum to cut the weight while keeping the integrity of the frame.
Very true brother man
Looking into the Cos21 3.5” ported option. Looks great. Beaver tail seems a little long though. Trying to decide between it and the CS from staccato
Check with Greg. He will custom create to your preferences
Awesome pistol
Thanks bro
👍👍great job Dan, those are some great looking guns.
Thanks Yellow
Very good video
Much appreciated Monty
Awesome looking guns, and great concept...made to order.
I agree entirely. Thanks man
I’d love to hear what kinds of part breakage he had with those 100k rounds
That's the think, nothing broke
@@TheFirearmGuy if that’s true that’s incredibly impressive, even more so since it’s a 1911/2011 design
Looking jacked Dan
Haha, thanks man
Great interview, Dan. Sounds like a great company to do business with.
No doubt Andy
Doggone that is one heck of a lot of shooting! I hope he has an ammo sponsor. That would be unbelievably expensive.
That guy is no joke

Any hint to who the owner of the 100k round gun is.
Greg knows him but I don't
Very nice but I still can't afford a $2300 hand tool ...
Completely understand Rich
Videos of guns, but no website to purchase them. This company is weird.
👍👍
Nice looking pistols, but not cheap.
Good stuff is not cheap. And cheap stuff is not good.
Nothing is anymore
Look at those guns, you must live in the gym Dan!!
🤘🤐🤘

Croissant makes firearms too?!!
Honestly... Is there anything those French can't do...
Just kidding, Dan. Great review.
Haha, thanks man
Cool!!
Thanks See
