Hey I got this thing on the 4x4 that I’m not sure how to fix, I got through the most of it but now I’m on the yellow. He first three rows are all yellow but the bottom one isn’t, I tried all the algorithms for this section and it just keeps bringing me to things that aren’t any of them: The lonely dot, the bar, or the fish, plz help!
Finally
_Solving Cross_
12:10 Straight across algorithm
19:28 Something you may wanna know
20:45 Last 2 edge prices diagonal
_White Parity (also 3 layers)_
24:02 White corner facing you
26:08 White corner on top
27:28 Right corner positioning, wrong orientation
28:19 White corner facing right
_Yellow Parity_
29:26 2 yellow edges not on top
30:40 Yellow bar instance
31:05 Yellow hook instance
31:30 Lonely yellow center
32:15 Almost complete except 2 corners
32:50 Yellow cross
33:12 Fish (all but 3 corners)
_Solving Rubik's Cube_
34:40 getting 2 corners the same
37:57 2 edge pieces opposite flipped instance
39:03 2 edge pieces beside each other flipped instance
39:49 3 sides flipped (counterclockwise fix)
40:34 All sides flipped opposite colours
41:52 Clockwise fix
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, it's mainly some points for me. I just did this since I watched the video then decided to go back and label algorithms just in case.
Thanks 👍
thanks brother blessing will come
@Samantha Brein Yeah I do, thank you so much! It does help. I'm gonna memorize both ways but I think I'll like yours better. Thanks again!

Normally, I don't leave comments, but the way this dude explains a Rubik's cubes is phenomenal! He explains the cube as if it was someone who never cubed before. Its clear and straight to the point with fine detail that explains every bit. The way he explains it, anyone can understand. I watched his video on how to solve a 3x3 and his video is what piqued my interest in cubing in the first place. Thanks dude ! Keep it up !!!

This was so helpful! I completed the 3x3 a few years ago and got the 4x4 to have a higher challenge. I found this video after getting confused by other unhelpful videos that didn’t go into enough detail and this video helped me complete the 4x4 for the first time! This was super helpful and I’ll continue to use this to be able to complete it without help! Thank you!
Very well done! Keep up the great work and thanks for watching my videos :)

I finally solved the revenge after giving up on it 10 years ago. I learned to solve a 3x3 cube untraditionally about 25 years ago. I solve a 3x3 different than any instructional video I have ever watched. My son brought me his triangle cube to solve and after figuring it out, I looked over at my extensive collection of cubes where my revenge cube gave me the evil eye. I finally realized I had to get the centers solved and then I would likely treat it just like a 3x3. I did some googling and came across your video. I was able to use your detailed tutorial to solve the centers and then the sides. Once there I went backed to my move sets to finish. Thank you. My son is 9, the same age I learned and I have been wanting to teach him just like my dad did me. Your amazing tutorial with this 4x4 has given me confidence that he can easily learn the 3x3 if we follow along with your 3x3 tutorial. Seriously thank you for taking the time to make this video and for your clear and concise instructions.
Let's just say Rubik got his revenge on me.
Yep😂
This comment is underrated
Yeah, rubik revenge on us cause we finished his 3x3 cube

I searched for it last year, around March and April. I was really bored that time. I, again searched for it for the 5th time this day. Thank you for this. I just learned it for about 2-3 days and just recalling them now somehow. Thank you again!
Hey thanks man, got my first solve all by myself after having watched this several times and taking notes. I’m a sub 3min right now and just want to give a sincere bit of gratitude as my unofficial tutor on the 4x4 in my cubing journey.

Got my 4x4 yesterday, and have had a 3x3 for a year now. This was the first 4x4 tutorial I looked up, and managed to solve it in a little over an hour, thanks for the help. :)

I am not sure why, but your tutorial helps explain to me what the other tutorials are talking about. I watched about 5-6 other tutorials before yours and didn't get what they were doing. I guess it helps that you explain all your moves and why you make them while the other tutorials will just say something without explaining and then proceed doing the moves quickly. Kudos to you for helping me solve the 4x4 cube for the first time.

For making the edges:
When you have the last 2 ( incomplete edges ) on the opposite of eachother and they are diagonally DIFFRENT.
( so on the opposite of red yellow is blue yellow ) The blue yellow and red yellow are obviously the 2 last pieces here. 20:41
When you have the last 2 ( incomplete edges ) on the opposite of eachother but diagonally they ARE THE SAME!
( so on the opposite of red yellow is red yellow ) 21:11
----------------------------------------
This is for the F2L phase ( white cross and side edges completed )
This is for after you have inserted the edges but need to insert the corner piece!
When white facing you: 24:09
When white on top: 26:08
When white to the right: 28:24
When white is at bottom facing right: 27:27

Bro love your vids I remember almost 3 years ago when I learnt how to solve a 3 by 3 cube from one of your vid and now I’m trying out a 4 by 4
Yay! I've watched this for days and days and I've completed my sons 4x4 cube.
He's away in Holland at the moment so I've just put it back in his room in the same place but completed now!
It will be so funny to see his confused face when he sees it because he's never completed it even though he's very fast at the 3x3 cube!
How'd the surprise go?
@@redreaction4735 it was great!
He was shocked that it was done and noticed it straight away when he went in his room.... however,
He has to go one better, it has spurred him on to complete it himself. He has been working on it for 4 months now since his return from Holland and he won’t watch any videos on how to do it he has to work it out himself. He now has the top and bottom faces completed and just one square wrong on the other four. So very nearly done. He’s just not getting the last finishing moves in to complete it just yet.
Best tutorial, gives time for newbs to understand the moves unlike those other videos where they're like speed-cubing.
Wow, really simple and easy to follow instructions, thank you, solved my first 4x4. Will be using this as point of reference

Nah, They think the 2x2 is not hard and it's not challenging. I said, why do you say it's not hard if you cannot do it. lol. At my church, some guy let me use his 2x2 and I solved it without any help. They have a point of "No Challenge"
That's why I can't get a 2x2
Daniel Oh Ahh... I see
Hey good news. I can get a 2x2
I really appreciate that you don't have a super slick cube and that you're not flicking all the faces into position. "Tutorials" that do that don't deserve the name and have little interest in teaching their viewers. This was easy to follow, thank you!

This clip has single handedly made me know how to solve the 4×4.
It feels so nice.
I started on 1st May 2024 and on 10th May,2024,I cracked it.
The top layer is the most challenging esp.when there is a parity but memorising the 4 algorithms makes it easy.
Proud of this guy,
Thank you for making this video! I’ve known how to solve the 4x4 Rubik’s Cube for about 6 years now. I started doing the 3x3 Rubik’s Cube in 2017.
I’d say that the most difficult thing about the 4x4 Rubik’s Cube is the OLL and PLL Parities. For quite a while, I referenced this video a lot for the OLL and PLL Parity algorithms. I wrote them both down recently.
Tomorrow, I’ll be getting a 6x6 and 7x7 Rubik’s Cube to give myself a new challenge.

After you did all the edges you can do it normally but just need to do 2 algorithms for doing the the last step for edges and for the doing the yellow side for the half plus hope this helps good luck

Exactly!!! :)
until you get parity
Ng Bob Shoaun just up until you hit oll and pll
ChafradorGaming exactly
This was probably the best tutorial all across UA-cam, you explain every step in such detail that even a person that has never solved a cube before can understand, 10 out 10 from me.
Good job!
Welp im solving the a cube the first time and in 2 days im in 3rd step and i do agree with you
All the other videos are too fast, and I agree, you are going step by step even if the video takes a long time. I a cube tutorial is more than an hour, and the UA-cam channel is yours, I'll definitely watch it, no matter how much time it takes
Thx that was the most useful tutorial so far mostly all the others stop after pairing the edge pieces.....
Greetings from Germany
This is definitely the best 4x4 explanation that we found. Thank you so much for being so thorough. Most videos just show but don't tell. My 6 year old thanks you. 😁
Aw, I'm glad I was able to help. Thanks for sharing this with your kid, that's so cool. Tell them hi for me :)

amazing video just learned how to solve 4x4 thankyou sooo much :)
I think this video is amazing. I am so glad I learned how to solve the 2×2 and the 3×3. This was not so hard watching your video. THANK YOU
yeah once you learn the 4by4 you should be able to do what I did, I spent about 3 weeks creating my own algorithms for the 5by5 using some 4by4 help. I eventually was able to solve the 5by5 without any yt vids etc
Thanks really appreciated
I finally solved my Rubik's cube
Thank you very much

I learn how to solve the standard cube when I was in sixth grade and it’s been a while since I tried to learn other rubik type... Once I got this type of rubik cube, I will probably start learning this.
