- My beginner's tutorial on solving the 4x4 Rubik's cube puzzle using the Reduction method.

0:00 Intro

Rw means turn the right 2 layers clockwise
Rw' means turn the right 2 layers counterclockwise
Small r means turn only the right middle layer clockwise
Small r2 means turn only the right middle layer twice

I've learned all my 3x3 from J-perm. Then i found this for the 4x4. I find this 4x4 tutorial easier to learn than the method J-perm teaches. Really great job!

I learned to solve the 3x3 Rubik's cube in literally 30 mins, I definitely underestimated how much harder the 4x4 would be, anyways this helps a whole lot because some of the tutorial videos are too long or skips steps.
Simon flexed on my cube collection when he started showing the cubes that you could solve after u learned 4x4. XD

@@abhimittu11 randomly is fine.. The goal of edge pairing is to create a 3x3 like structure

I’ve been workong in the edges for 30 min and still don’t understand and I can solve a 3x3 in 30 seconds
@@thesimonshi i dont really understand on pairing the edges, do i need to pair them with the right colors? Or it doesnt matter where i pair them as long as it has the same colot as the other one

In the first glance I got stuck this happened several times but finally I learnt how to solve the 4×4×4 Rubik's Cube but still I get stuck in the OLL parity I am quite better just in a day I hope I will memorise all algorithms in 3-5 days thanks Simon 😎❤️😀
I am so glad right now I kan solve a 4 by 4. I never got a nice tutorial of 4x4 but that is when I saw this video. This is better than any other 4x4 tutorials.

Honestly this guy uses the best method I scrolled past a few different videos and this guy has one of the best easiest ways once you understand it, just pay attention

Man I was so excited when I got the middle yellow squares and white middle squares complete.
I have learnt to solve my first speedcube from cubehead but I did some mistakes on the second layer but still got it right and till to day I use the same mistaken algorithm to solve the 4by4. Thank you Simon for teaching us to solve the 4by4.❤❤❤❤😊

Why did you edit out the bit where you say, just solve like a normal 3x3 cube?, I can solve a 3x3 by doing white cross, then white corners then centre layer edges then yellow top layer, how the hell does this equate to a 4x4?

@@thesimonshi But Simon thered something bothering me at the last step when you need to do the parity things When I done the cross none of the edges In the top correspond with the same color like the 3x3. Like the Blue/Yellow edge It doesnt correspond with the Blue/Yellow edge too. How can I Fix that?
