    HAHA, these videos never fail to be a pure joy to watch. The kids sitting here laughing along too. Especially love the part where we went from "lady in red" to dubstep! LOL, great job. My hubby doesn't believe your radio plays meatloaf and other pop from the Americas. I said, "what do you think they listen to?" He says, "Scottish music". I was like "okay, so here in Kentucky we only listen to Bluegrass and Gospel??? No!"

    Fairplay Cammy! I'm actually blown away that you've the time to be a police officer on top of all you're already doing with the sheep farming, scanning and shearing!!! 🤯🤯🤯😲😲😲
    No one would think less of you for taking a handy job on top of all you're doing. My respect for you has gone from a 10 to a 25 after that!! 😁👏👏👏

    Wish you were closer, my neighbor has one sheep, hasn’t been sheared in 5 or 6 years. Even though there’s a water tank in the pasture, he “can’t catch it!” I’d move the water tank into the pen attached to the pasture and shut the gate on it. I love watching your videos.

    That was cute with the little girl. Then you acting like one that was hilarious. I saw a video of Sandi's tonight ok well it's about two thirty in the morning for me. She's been getting preemies not much bigger than her hand about. I would be super crying!!! My now 29 year old great niece told me a few years ago that I'm just (sensitive). Anyway good with the video. I'm just watching what pop's up to watch. Maybe one more for tonight. I was on my feet for four and a half hours making homemade Chili. I finally gave up on soaking the bean's. I'll just ramble on. Later.

I'm crying now. But there was a mom that had healthy triplets she showed us though. After I get everything watched then I watch whatever videos of your's pop's up. Later.

    When is the landward film on telly and why not use a counterbalance weight instead of the knicker elastic and more gear chat please comb types I.e. short bevel or long thin cutters to full thickness just a thought as I see so many guys using what they bought or swapped with no thought to what’s best and wonder why shearing is like pushing a railway sleeper up a sand dune with the mother inlaw on top Cheers Cammy

    Why is every clipper I get cuts the sheep while clipping ,do you????

    • @TheSheepGame
      @TheSheepGame  4 роки тому +1

      It happens sometimes Christopher but we try to limit that was correct gear and proper technique.

    • @kenmarebaydiving
      @kenmarebaydiving 4 роки тому

      Hey Christopher, I think it's a two fold thing. Ie. Both the sheep and the Shearer. A sheep that is thin will be easier to cut, if the wool is not risen it's easier to cut, a sheep that is calm but makes a sudden jerk is easier to cut.
      A Shearer who is tired will start making the odd cut , a Shearer who's comb and cutter need changing and are having to really push through the fleece will start making cuts.
      All the above should only result in a small nick here and there.....worst case scenario is a so called shearer trying to go way faster then their actual ability. This results in multiple cuts to every ewe and is horrible to see.
      It's why I love shearing my own flock. I'm slow and only do about 50 ewes in the day( with lots of breaks 😁) but vary rarely cut them. This is why I enjoy watching Cammy and Archie. To shear the numbers they get through and see how they shear so cleanly at that speed is mighty. ....and of course seeing the craic the boys have

    • @willmellor6664
      @willmellor6664 4 роки тому +2

      A tup Hogg is a male sheep that was born last year and it’s usually it’s first time being clipped. Then it becomes a shearling tup/tup. Once it’s clipped.

    • @kenmarebaydiving
