@@Mastana7 But the design of the Century SUV actually almost 90% follows the design of the Century Sedan, where the design of the Century Sedan has not changed drastically since the 60s, especially the shape of the grill, while the Rolls Royce had a different design when it was still in the 60s when compared to now. Even the design of the lights is very similar between the SUV and sedan versions, the difference is that in the SUV version the four LEDs are separated into 4 parts but it looks like a 2008 Toyota Velfire (remember that the split headlight design on the Genesis actually just imitates the light design from the Toyota alphard in 2008)
I love the simplicity and Gorgeousness of the Century Sedan. Hope the SUV does so. The front and rear lights could have been more simplified like the Century sedan did.

@khervin7061 agree, most mini vans/mpv's have had sliding rear doors since decades ago so coach/suicide doors feel far more unique and exclusive. The only mini van I can think of with suicide doors is the last generation Vauxhall/Opel Meriva.

This is like house decoration and furnishing done right! Look at how they can refurbish and dress up a below $30,000 CAMRY and sell it at approximately 6 times the price? Btw it can't even compete with the Ford Explorer since the century is based on a front drive family car chassis. Even Escalade's truck chassis can fit 8 cylinders with 660 horsepower

This is indeed a really great car ☺ BUT I don't feel it is suitable to compare it with a RR. Why ? Simply look at the price difference between them. A proper comparison should be, for example, a GLS, Range Rover, or even a Maybach.
Can't say i like it, they took the simplistic yet luxurious century and turned it into a american showboaty SUV, essentially going against the original principle of the century which was based on luxury and class but in discretion since the Japanese didn't like to flaunt wealth. Clearly this is now marketed more towards a western market then the Japanese one.
@dcon8602 what platform is being shared matters a lot. Lexus LS was based on Toyota Celsior which was already based on a rwd luxury platform. This 200k usd Century suv is made out of a modified camry platform.
@dcon8602 quality is good, the spec isn't. It is like making a $200 dish with a non-fresh, $5 cheap meat. Lexus is acceptable with minor prce difference, but making Century, which is supposed to be higher than any lexus with a camry frame is not acceptable.
