Вы правы , к Диане нельзя относится как к обычной девушке. Диана прожила в свои 18 лет несколько жизней. У нее очень отстранненый взгляд на наш Мир. Помимо ее дара она обладает артистизмом чтобы донести до нас смысл и вовлечь в это каждого человека. Диана создает собственные Миры и это очень странно ,она так молода! И еще , ее голос феноменален такого тембра Мир еще не видел. Ее педагог по вокалу которая умерла от Ковида сказала что Диана может делать все от оперы до рока!

In fact Diana won this competition. It was a TV show named SHOWMASKGOON, as most of the contestant had been the winners and finalists of another show from this TV channel - MASKA. They were, both rating judges and participants of the show. So the jury on the screen are singers themselves. Diana was the only one who had been the Grand Prix winner of another show from this channel. Diana is a fantastically talented singer, a vocal Universe, having world-wide reaction popularity.

Diana has a very rare voice. She is a contralto and she is also polyphonic, which means she can produce several tones at the same time. It makes her voice sound so full.
Diana's background: Diana was born on May 31, 2003 in the Far East of Russia. She was severely abused as a small child and abandoned on the street by her birth mother in winter when she was only 3 years old with a broken collarbone. She was then taken to an orphanage where, after more than one year, she was adopted by Irina Ponik, a massage therapist. At the age of four and a half, Diana still could not speak properly. She also stuttered. Experts recommended that she take singing lessons to improve her general speaking and vocal skills.
This is a new TV show in Russia. There are 9 weeks with 9 shows and 9 well known artists. Diana is the youngest artist. They had to sing songs from 9 genres. The last TV show was on 20. November 2021. The 9 artists are also the judges for the other singer. And Diana (18 yo) won the overall competition of which Diana won 4 and took 2nd place once. She shocked the other singers with the first song. The Crow was her masterpiece in this competition, in my opinion. The judge who stands up is the great opera singer Yusif Eyvazov and the husband of Anna Netrebko, who is world famous. He's very impressed.

At the age of three in the middle of Russia's far northern Winter she was abandoned, injured, at a bus stop where she was rescued and sent to an orphanage. At the age of 5 she was still traumatized and unable to speak properly.

Her first song at the competition, an entirely new take on Elvis Presley's 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' has been called mesmerizing, transcendental and other-worldly...it highlights her uniquely deep voice, and effortless range from low to high, along with her trademark dramatic and passionate interpretation. Diana is a dramatic contralto but has a polyphonic voice so she can sing more than one note at the same time. This performance was from the show TheShowMaskGoOn in Russia last year. Each judge/performer had to perform in 8 different genres while they last performance the artist got to pick themselves over 9 weeks. (she ended up winning) Other performances to react to by Diana from this show....Oh It's Not Yet Evening (Russian), Crow (russian), The Way (russian), and Personal Jesus. This performance took place on September 25, 2021, when Diana Ankudinova was 18 years old during a new vocal competition called the ShowMaskGoOn, and Diana was competing against 9 other professional singers who also served as judges for this competition. This new vocal competition was televised over a nine-weeks, one episode per week with the nine other professional singers competing against each other, and based on their individual performances they awarded judging points to each other. When not competing, Diana was also a member of this judging panel.
Every week for nine weeks, each singer took the stage and performed a different song over each of the nine weeks. Each contestant had to sing a different song from a different genre using different styles. The ShowMaskGoOn! concluded on November 20, 2021.
Diana was the first to perform and her cover of Elvis Presley’s classic, “Can’t Help Falling In Love” demonstrated that Diana Ankudinova has, what many vocal professionals believe, is a true contralto voice type, and for those in your audience that may not know, a contralto voice is the lowest kind of female voice, and a true contralto voice is very, very rare.
First, to answer a very common question asked about Diana's vocal range, because vocal range helps in defining a female singer's voice type and at age 13 in 2017, her vocal range was measured from a low of D3 to a high of A5. As of September 2021, 5 years later at age 18, her lower functional range was again measured during this performance and it now measures from a low of C3 to a high of B♭5, giving Diana almost a 3-octave range. But it's not just about how low she can go, it's the exceptional quality of her tone in her lower register. It's in her timbre, the roundness, fullness, and depth of her voice, along with her ability to create and access enormous amounts of resonance that help to further define Diana as a "dramatic contralto", the deepest, darkest, and most powerful contralto voice type and is also the rarest of the rare contralto voice types.
So, the question becomes, how does Diana do it? How can such a young female singer achieve such low, rich, deep, resonant, and profound sounds? Without actually being able to scope her vocal tract while she is producing those low notes to see what is actually happening, the general conciseness of many vocal professionals is simply to attribute Diana’s unique ability to her winning the genetic lottery. Diana was just born with unique vocal anatomy. Diana’s vocal folds, (vocal cords), appear to be longer and thicker than most female singers. Her larynx also appears to be larger, her oral cavity is also larger, and her pharynx similarly appears to be longer than other female singers. It’s this unique vocal anatomy that gives Diana Ankudinova the ability to produce those low, deep, rich, full sounds that along with her unique tone quality and her ability to access an enormous reservoir of resonance make her stand out, but without actually scoping her vocal track, there is no way to be 100% sure.
Also, Diana is a true polyphonic singer, which is another extremely rare accomplishment for someone so young. A singer who has mastered this polyphonic vocal technique can create one, and sometimes two, different tones at the same time which add to the harmonic overtones and undertones that can make it sound like a synthesizer was added to her voice, or there is more than one voice singing. This polyphonic ability is why some people mistakenly believe Diana Ankudinova is using some form of electronic voice manipulation or pitch correction software to alter or adjust her sound. Others believe another person is singing in the background off-stage, or she is lip-syncing over a previously recorded vocal track that has been altered or modified. There is nothing artificial nor is any manipulation going on at all with Diana's voice. Neither is anyone else singing with her that is off stage nor is she lip-syncing to a recorded vocal track. The other voices you are hearing are just vocal backing tracks used to fill in and round out the performance along with the backing track for the musical score. Diana Ankudinova and only Diana Ankudinova is singing “Can't Help Falling In Love”.
During Diana’s performance, the judge on the top row who is the first to stand during the performance is the well-known Russian opera tenor, Yusif Eyvazov from Azerbaijan who was invited to be a special guest judge for this inaugural vocal competition. Yusif Eyvazov is also married to world-famous opera soprano Anna Netrebko. At the end of Diana Ankudinova’s performance, she receives a standing ovation from her fellow competitors and a fellow judge, the blond woman dressed in red, standing in the center row Julia Parshuta, who is a well-known contemporary Russian singer. Julia Parshuta looks totally shocked at the end of Diana's performance. She puts both hands on top of her head with a look of total surprise and disbelief. Julia Parshuta, along with the other judges now realize she and all the other singers, (competitors/judges), will have to compete against Diana, and everyone now knows she is a true generational talent. Finally, this 9-week competition ended with Diana winning.

Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in seven billion.

Unfortunately, you watched the chopped off video. Look for the longer one with comments from her competitors/judges. Everyone sings, but one of the judges is special. The one who most vividly appreciated Diana's voice. The one who was standing listening to the song. He is an opera singer who is considered one of the best voices in the world. His name is Yusuf Eyvazov. He is a dramatic tenor, the husband of the great opera star of our time, Anna Netrebko. Yusuf is welcome at all the best opera venues in the world, where the best of the best voices of the world sing, on such stages as the Mariinsky Theater, the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, the Vienna State Opera, the Bolshoi Theater, the Paris National Opera and others. Who, if not he, can appreciate the voice? And he, at the end of Diana's performance, was crying. It's worth a lot. This is worth more than the opinions of millions of reactors and judges.

Hi Rocio, not what I was hoping for (Isyana Sarasvati 'Lexicoustic" ep. 1 - 'Lexicon'), hope you'd seen my comment on Angelina covering Whitney...?), but Diana is one of my favorites as well, so I'm looking forward to your reaction to this as well, especially as it's a first encounter... :) ... She's a true contralto, and additionally her larynx produces natural overtones and she's a very versatile singer with a touching story (abused and abandoned by her real mother, then adopted, couldn't even speak properly then and learned speaking by singing as her new mother who is very caring discovered her love for singing, so she got music therapy and vocal coaching from an early age...) She won a singing contest for disabled children at a young age, she's nineteen now, on this performance she was eighteen, it was a TV show contest where the singers who were all professionals had to judge each other... she won. She's a Russian national treasure, her voice is absolutely unique, and she is a very thoughtful, reflective, humble and friendly person with a deep love for music... Soon a guy Peter Howell from Scotland will show up and give you all the details you need, also suggestions for other songs by her. I'll drop some titles, but there may be others which are more in demand...

2.) Her cover of the great Jazz standard "What A Wonderful World" (Louis Armstrong) is absolutely enchanting. Her pianist in this did an amazing reinvention and arrangement (for piano) of that song, and Diana is absolutely slaying it, great Jazz vocals here with her unique timbre, for me as a Jazz lover pure heaven...
3.) Her newly released original "Revelation" - very personal lyrics in a great modern production...
4.) - Other great titles: "Dernière Danse", "Rechenka (River)", "Crow" and many many others...
- I'm looking forward to your journey with Diana, yet I hope you'll react to Isyana (pron. 'Ishiana") soon, she's absolutely amazing, never met someone with such a deep rooted musicality, originality and creativity, angelic voice, incredibly versatile, for me THE musical discovery of '22 (Angelina was in '20, Diana in '21... Mon was in 22 as well and I'm not definitely sure yet if in the end she will turn out my favorite discovery of the year, currently I'm more obsessed with Isyana as I discovered her only recently and can't believe what I'm hearing, but Mon is great as well for sure and very dear to my heart...
