Hey CATRP Crew, Drew here - yes the original owner of the big collection. I wanted to say it was a pleasure dealing with you guys, and I hope you make a ton of money off of the deal. Hopefully Chase finds some great stuff for his own collection as well. I'm the type of collector who doesn't open games until he plays them, which is why there was so much sealed. Some of the pieces were from childhood and college - NES, N64 and Gamecube mostly - but the vast majority was collected over the last 12 years or so. Anyway, great video and good luck with your big sale. Also Mario Kart 64 over Diddy Kong every day and twice on Sundays.
@@stevenmckelvey80 I actually tried to do deals with a few smaller YT's first - trying to help them build their businesses, but none had the capacity for a collection this big. I also tried Phoenix Resale, but never heard back, which is when I turned to CATRP. The process was super simple and dealing with them was as easy as could be.
As someone who used to have all kinds of stuff like this, and sold it all to DKOldies. I am now trying to slowly get it all back at twice the price, and I regret giving it all away pretty much. Just saying, once a collector at heart, always a collector. You'll find yourself grabbing something small here and there, and before you know it you're doing it all over again at twice the price xD Awesome collection though, feels like literally selling your soul away haha.
@@xSixx. I was ok with letting go of most of it. There are a few things I have since repurchased… but knowing that I am now debt free, with a fully funded emergency fund… totally worth it.

I am also team Diddy Kong Racing. Played it a few hours with a friend only a couple of weeks ago. We used to play it as kids and I had to re-show it to him :) We enjoyed all the kind of challanges they had in the game.

I sold Mighty Final Fight missing manual for the NES last year for about $400. I regret selling it haha. I never see anyone find a copy of it.
