Chris is such a nice guy I'm just a random British guy who sent him a message on two different occasions and both times he took the time to respond and actually talk to me❤
Someone needs to explain to me why this man never had a run as WWE Champion? The fact that he is not in the WWE Hall of Fame is a disgrace and long overdue in my opinion. A Pioneer in Combat Sports and Professional Wrestling.
Plenty of wrestlers helped bring the attitude era to its peak. And as much as I like Stone Cold and even DX... they weren't the only reason the attitude era was so good. Guess you forgot the Rock came up then as well.. APA and so on. While I understand those were the top guys in the company ... other than Undertaker ( also not mentioned) , since that's when the American badass schtick was born .... saying DX and stone cold were the reason for the era is both right and wrong. What a man to interview. Chris, you are so lucky to speak with these legends and future legends, and Shamrock is one of the more deserving guys to get the HOF induction. Well done mate - if ever I meet you I’ll get you a beer! 🤙
Always great to hear from Ken. A personal favorite of mine and I only started watching WWE ten years ago. He and his brother Frank deserve alot more recognition
I’m glad I got to see Ken Shamrock Twice! First time was for Impact Wrestling in Las Vegas and second time was for Impact’s Bound For Glory in Chicago. He was and still is a beast!
Ken Shamrock crossed over from the UFC into pro wrestling and did it seamlessly. He was a true professional, willing to train and develop his character with some of the pro wrestling greats with no ego as someone coming in from the MMA world. He just didn’t show up to collect check and assume he’s better than everyone because of his fight background, he really honed his wrestling craft. He should absolutely get inducted in the WWE HOF, hope they make that call happen soon.

Shamrock? Absolutely. Golddust/Dustin Rhodes? Will be as soon as he’s done with AEW. D’Lo? Only on the basis of being the first Eurocontinental champion. Val and Gangrel? Love ‘em….big time nostalgia for them, but they’re not HOFers.
How he isnt in the HOF, is wild. Him, Kurt and a few others are the only guys who transitioned well to pro wrestling from actual combat sports. Loved him as a kid.
So I purchased WWF The Music vol 4 and I would not stop listening to Shamrocks entrance song. It was so fire, probably the biggest catalyst for getting me into wrestling.
When he said The Rock and Sean Michaels, I thought we were finally going to get part 2 of Rocky Johnson’s shoot interview pertaining to that matter 😒☝🏾
That's crazy, I never knew he was the first to start the tap out submission in professional wrestling. He's definitely a trailblazer in the wrestling business and deserves a Hall of Fame spot in WWE.
Good to see Ken sign a WWE Legends contract just recently. Since the TKO owns both UFC and WWE, its only fitting since Ken Shamrock made a name for himself in both organizations. Break it down the resume: UFC: Inaugural UFC Superfight Champion, multi time UFC Tournament Champion, UFC Hall of Famer. WWE: King of the Ring 1998, Intercontinental Champion, World Tag Team Champion. And since WWE has a partnership with TNA: NWA World Heavyweight Champion and TNA Hall of Fame. Not a bad resume for a MMA/Professional Wrestling superstar. Should have had more titles in his career.
Since HHH has been in charge, he has consistently brought back people that had seemingly been blacklisted by the previous "regime", because the fans wanted them to come back and it was best for business.
Ken shamrock is the very first guy to come over from UFC to WWE and shamrock is a former UFC HEAVYWEIGHT champion. Ken broke down the barriers from ultimate fighting to WWF AND DEFINITELY DESERVES TO BE IN THE WWE HALL OF FAME.
Little known fact, Shamrock was a pro wrestler before he ever got into UFC. He was in some of the smaller federations in the Carolinas from 88-90, and then in Japan from 90-93.
Loved Ken in WWF. He doesn’t get enough credit. The match he had with Owen in that cage. Totally innovative in that match. Only time that match ever happened. They both had to innovate on the fly. I’ll always remember that match. Original, and cool.
