The lower back is like that one annoying guy who is never invited to the party but still shows up anyway, proceeds to drink everyone else’s booze, and then has the audacity to call in sick for work the next day 😂
I had refused to join the youth of today in filming at the gym, but that’s a convincing argument and I’ll give it a whirl…once I have hired a camera crew and make up department 😂
Great tips, I will say that I prefer to take a couple of seconds between the last reps as that can make the difference between getting that last rep or dumping it on the safety stops
Great stuff! Early on I got really good at the "hyperextension bent row." It was more of a squat accessory than a lat exercise. Thankfully I cleaned it up, but so true about feeling trashed and thinking it was a great workout, but not much was happening....
I always rest more and more at the top of Smith machine squats as the set goes on because I get out of breath, I'll try to stick to a consistent tempo between reps and figure out how not to die 😂 thx
Hey Faz, I switched up my leg exercise yesterday, the exercises not the number of set, and today my leg is sore af specifically the quads not my hamstring or glute (which is usual for me after a leg day though not recently) so my question is am I overreaching and doing too much? (IDK how much this is relevant but between exercise, hack squat and split squat, I had go up stairs because the machine and dumbbells are in different parts of the gym)
Well that tittle got my attention. This is the. Issues. I am working with at present. So thanks Faz. I bought my volume down a little because of. Back and leg. Little sore at present. /think I over loaded the spine. So I only. Thinking. Well. I can work hard atill. And work around this. Issue over next month
Saying train harder is like saying earn more money, or try harder at school. Lol. I like how you're intelligent enough to see through the bullshit advice.

😂
Progressive overload should also consist of “owning the weight” not just throwing it around.
As always gold Faz thanks!!

Intensity is a mental game between two opposing forces, the body and the mind. Breaking through the barrier, however, can be strangely exhilarating.

Some fantastic tips here! 👊
Great stuff
Very helpful tips that I definitely will be using to keep myself on track, thanks!
Great tips Faz! BTW, I really loved the 1st 20lbs series you did. I lowered my volume and am getting slightly better numbers.
How to know if my upper back fails in a bent row?
Fantastic info as always
Filming a set to test if it's hard hadn't crossed my mind. I have done it in order to check my form only.

Nah I wouldn't worry about it, it's just an unusual stimulus. Your body will get used to it.
@@Fazlifts ya, I did legs today same as last time and all is good. Thanks man
