Thanks for watching! Nice to get a few big ones day one. Solid start
Nice perch.30 of those and who needs walleye
@@Bruins-vq5ey always love when the perch are going!
Looks like a great day!It seems like that new slot system is producing more fish for eating and more for photos every year
It’s been pretty good for us! Seeing a lot of nice big walleye too over the last 2 years
I'm exceedingly envious. No ice fishing around here yet. Catch one for me, Mantra!
Hopefully you’ll be able to get on the ice soon! Weather here is looking cold for the next few weeks. I’ll catch one for ya when I’m out next!
Awesome video. Coming up on the 12th. Nice mix of perch and Walleye.
Was nice to run into some perch this time, last year we didn’t see as many in the area as previous years so looks good. Thanks for watching!
@mantrafishing I didn't catch any last year where in previous years it was steady during the day. Hopefully signs of good things to come.
We’re on route early tmmrw morning 🤟🤟 tight lines glad to see ice is holding up!
@@flippinfishoutdoors good luck out there! Hopefully you get on a good bite 👌
Good stuff man! heading up on the 9th with the boys.
@@duartegomes1993 awesome! Best of luck when you get up here.
Were you set up in greenings bay?
@@creditangler8025 not too far from there!
@ I think I say you on opening day😂
How deep I need to go out for good fishing for all species?
I find the best depth I’ve found to catch a bit of perch, pike and walleye is in 24-31ft but it really depends on time of the season
was this out of caldener or somewhere else?
It was out on the south shore of Nipissing!
@@mantrafishing thanks. im headed up for my first time, 4.5hrs in the morning. hoping to find some fish
@@mantrafishing new to fishing the area so definitely appreciate good vids like this.
@@robertnant I appreciate it! Good luck, be safe, the ice has a few pressure cracks around but thankfully the cold should be helping
@@mantrafishing hate to bug you but is there a local spot to get minnows?
