9.7 is not a blessed br since it either goes up or goes down (and a lot of the time, it's up). 8.7 still has it worst and 10.7s (especially meta 10.7s) are where it's at. 7.7 can also be pretty good as you're more likely to stay at your br or go lower. 8.7 to 10.0 is cursed BR

Kinda sad that lots of people still think the T-2 is op when things like the MiG-19S and 19PT (really good climb rate and other standard MiG benefits), MiG-21F-13 and PFM (and maybe the MF and SMT?) (decent speed and turn rate and acceleration and climb rate, you get the point its a MiG-21), the Jaguars (just a slower T-2 with an airspawn, AIM-9Gs, or Magics (which are arguably better than AIM-9Js) compared to the T-2s AIM-9Es, CCIP for Ground RB but we'll ignore that) and some other jets were already at 9.7 when the T-2 was at 10.0. Nevertheless, none of the aforementioned jets should be fighting Sabres and MiG-17s and other sub-sonic jets, but that's beside the point I'm making here. (and the CL-13B Mk 6 shouldn't be 9.7 I know it's better than the CL-13A Mk 5 at 9.3 and the F-86F-40 at 9.3, but 9.7 is stupid for a CL-13, not to mention the F-86K that you research AFTER the CL-13B Mk 6 is 9.3 too lmao)
The T-2 was influenced heavily by the Sepcat Jaguar and was made to be a trainer aircraft for Japanese pilots. Eventually they figured out the aircraft was actually a decent combat aircraft and started using it for more than just training. Upgrading some to the F-1 eventually as a purely combat fighter aircraft.
Don't try to take them into the vertical like you can against other aircraft the MiG-19 faces. In the long term yes you can do better than the T-2 but that assumes it doesn't kill you instantly when you both first enter the climb, or if it doesn't kill you, it does not just use it's insane acceleration to escape if things start to look bad.
@@quartzlandaker5664 The F-4C gets much better suspended weaponry, avionics, speed, and more ammunition wth a similarly strong gun. It may be a heavy bird, but if flown correctly at 10.3, the F-4C can do a lot of things that other planes around its br simply can’t.

back when 9.7 and 8.7 actually meant 9.7 and 8.7. Nowadays if you que with something like the f86-f30 you will face supersonic migs, harriers and phantoms with 20g, even 30g missiles

Just unlocked the mig 19, these have been clapping my cheeks along with av8's missiles
