I hope y’all liked the video 🥰 Lots of hoya are super easy, but these were all very different from eachother including the flowers! I hope y’all didnt mind the variegation rant 😂 Are there any that you recommend that I might not know about?! Join the new hoya group! facebook.com/groups/3103595163059302/?ref=share
I love my Hoya wayetii that is sort of tri-color. It's still small, but I adore the mophead look of it, and the kisses of pink and cream on the green leaves.
Loved this video!!! Your enthusiasm is contagious!! I want them all. Thank you so much for making this video. Also, thanks for setting me straight about variegation, there are way too many hoya to be hung up on variegation.
So cool to see the different kinds & see what you consider "easy". Ive had an obovata & burtoniae that didnt last long. My mathilde has grown for me pretty quickly though...I think, at least Ive seen new growth.
I totally agree with the hoya sp aff burtoniae!! I got mine from Home depot and it grows like a weed. I even changed the conditions because I moved and it is still growing.
Loved loved this video! I totally agree with the obovata. Got mine online for $10 a month ago and it has already thrown 5 leaves. Mathilde is supposed to be in today, so excited! And the burtoniae (spelling?) Is on my wish list!!!
Lessya Ouch 😂 I only have Hoya Kerrii and Hoya Macrophylla in different colours and Hoya Obovata is on my Wishlist but can't find it anywhere in the UK also Hoya Imbricata, Hoya Rotundifolia and Hoya Mathilde I can't find it here 🙄 Oh yeah I have Hoya Australis Lisa because my friend Rebecca sent it to me 😍 Love watching your Hoya videos
I’m so excited because I’m getting a australis hoya and it my first ever Hoya I’m been wanting a Hoya since I sarted getting into plants about 2 ish years ago and I’ve heard there good for people new to Hoyas so a friend in a month is giving me one she has a lot of them I love seeing them this year my room isn’t a room any more it a Bali jungle on my channel I’m doing a tour of my room soon so can see them all my plants are real no fake plants I have so plants and I can’t pick my favourite they are all my children
beautiful! I think I'm starting to get the hoya bug myself! too bad they're hard to come by in my local big box and local nurseries! and im too nervous about ordering plants lol
This was such a great informative video! Will def try to snag a mirabilis from Hoya Hau the next time he purges on FB if I'm quick enough 😅Also, what do you do to make your sp aff Burtoniae flower so much!? I've had mine from Lowe's for over a year now and it's never formed a peduncle, but has been getting a lot of foliage growth! 🌿
Early into collecting hoya I used to prefer variegated hoyas over non, but they seemed to be harder to come by at the time. So I stuck mainly to various green hoyas and absolutely prefer green or even splashy hoyas over variegated even now. I have had the hoya fitchii on my list since January and still haven't come across one!!
Ahhh Im sorry!! I saw two fitchiis on etsy while I was editing the video and one was on sale in a facebook group too! Hopefully you can catch one soon 💚💚

The only thing I really hate about hoyas is how expensive they are in Canada. It seems they are so much more affordable in the US. It is hard to find a hoya for less than $50 here.
Zone9Tropicaks occasionally has some good ones! 💚💚 Tiffany Quint in Hockley is my go to source for rare hoyas! ua-cam.com/video/xCdC94GH1OY/v-deo.html I also made a local hoya group on Facebook you might want to join for more info! facebook.com/groups/2434013273509875/?ref=share
Have you figured out the difference between sp aff burtoniae and burtoniae? 🥴😩 I have a burtoniae and I wanna know if it will sunstress the same way lol. Or do I need to buy another Hoya 😂
sp aff means “similar to” burtoniae and specific burtoniaes are a little harder to decipher but if you already have a burtoniae you may have the sp aff 😄 they should sun stress the same!
Surprised the list isn't: Krimson Queen, Krimson Princess, Compacta, Publicalyx & Australis or Obovata (which you did include) ...but ok ;) and beginner's also need affordable and easy to find Hoya's... Ok that's my 2 cents for what it's worth.
Haha I haaaaate compactas! I wanted to make a list of unique hoyas that people didnt always talk about! I also have a video planned where I talk about those for an “easy to find locally” video 😄💚 thank you for watching!!
@@LessyasLeaves Funny I also have no interest in compactas. I do find that Australis is relatively easy to acquire and while not as succulent as other hoyas, it's still a beautiful plant and relatively easy going.
Is Not nice to be too obsessed with anything like hoyas for it will prevent needed attention to much more important issues, I say just keep the one that is liked the most until replaced by a “nicer” one and just keep giving the others away to loved ones

Great video. I have a burtoniae on the way. When I heard they were fuzzy I had to get one. Another beautiful one is Hoya chelsea with its cute dimples
I love my Hoya wayetii that is sort of tri-color. It's still small, but I adore the mophead look of it, and the kisses of pink and cream on the green leaves.
I love love the Obavita! Mine had 3 leaves when I got it an now it’s a 3 ft long an 22 leaves!! 😍💚
Ahhh yay!! Yesss its such a nice grower I love it too! 💚💚💚
Loved this video!!! Your enthusiasm is contagious!! I want them all. Thank you so much for making this video. Also, thanks for setting me straight about variegation, there are way too many hoya to be hung up on variegation.
Thank you so much!! 🥺 Yesss!! Youd be much happier grabbing the ones you love instead of seeking out the varitegated/“rare” ones out there 💚💚💚
Just got my in the mail today! So pretty!
I am def a hoya head that has difficulty finding different Hoyas .. love all ur videos ... gives me hope
So cool to see the different kinds & see what you consider "easy". Ive had an obovata & burtoniae that didnt last long. My mathilde has grown for me pretty quickly though...I think, at least Ive seen new growth.
Ohhh noooo you shoukd definitely try them out again!! Mine do best being ignored outside 🤣 But yay for mathilde growth! 🎉🎉

Hi love you channel being watching for a while, love your plants 🌱, can you the information of Guardino can send to fine plz .

Hi I live in Houston too, can you please tell me where’s the best places to but them? Thank You 🙏
I made a local hoya group on Facebook you might want to join for more info! facebook.com/groups/2434013273509875/?ref=share
Aaahhhh that burtoniae! They're still very hard to find as full plants here and I killed my tiny one 😅😭🤪
Oh noooo Im sorry!!! Maybe theyll start popping up as full plants there one day 😅
The only thing I really hate about hoyas is how expensive they are in Canada. It seems they are so much more affordable in the US. It is hard to find a hoya for less than $50 here.
Aside from Another Place in Time, are there any other Houston nurseries that are good for hoyas? Thanks!

I actually prefer hoyas that are more green… i look for different shapes and size foliage. I dont like too many ‘splashes’ or variegation.
My Hoya fitchii has done nothing for 1 year
Ola
Hoya cummingiana is the only hoya that has died on me :'(
Try sitting on your hands next time, love.
