One of the most essential aspects for any network is the network security. In this video, we’ll review Netgear’s very own multi-layered security system known as Netgear Armor.
If you own a Netgear router, then you have probably heard about the Netgear Armor. It is a cybersecurity system that protects both your router and connected devices against online security threats such as viruses, phishing sites and trackers. The robust system has great reviews among its users so I decided to test it myself and see if it’s worth it.

This sounds like a commercial not a review. Also you have a segment early in the video that says this product has excellent reviews from user. You quickly scroll through the reviews to make your point. I zoomed into and slowed down that segment and most of the comments do not supporting your statement.

Was thinking the same thing especially when the “narrator “ said something that was grammatically really odd. Absolutely infuriating.
Typically in a review they’ll tell you some of the downsides also. But I enjoyed your commercial.

This is a scam and doesnt get activated on most routers. many people are experiencing the issue and no one has been able to activate on router
My netgear armor has blocked so many ddos attacks absolutely necessary if you own an orbi mesh system.
I tried it when they gave me the year for only $30. It discovered one of my computers was experiencing a brute force attack. Sure enough I check the security logs of that system and found thousands of attempts using various usernames to break in. I took action and no more security logon failures. Not sure if I’ll renew at what they claim will be $99 next year but I felt it was worth $30 and considering in the first 5 minutes it discovered I had been being attacked, I guess it was at least worth to try.

Your ISP is already providing a security suite, guarantee it. So why pay more? You may not be able to activate your free trial because of this.
even during the free trial it was kicking me off the internet every few minutes, no thanks
This just eats up more RAM on your router. Ever since they added this feature to my router it was very unstable with frequent reboots. This is why I went to DD-WRT firmware.

Great sales video, pathetic review.
It’s horrible. Not intuitive and doesn’t even tell you what it does. Complete waste of money. VPN monitors your activity. My logs are empty. Doesn’t show it has blocked one site. Doesn’t work with IOS private relay. I’m using WPA3 with a long complex password and it’s telling me to create a stronger password for 2.4ghz. Orbi doesn’t let you separate the 2.4 from the 5ghz so why isn’t it also giving me the same warning for the 5ghz?? Sometimes it disconnects the internet altogether. Go read the reviews. Would not recommend!
