Nice simple home and priced right. However, since Florida has seasonal storms and/or hurricanes, I would cut down those trees that might potentially fall on the house.
Yes. Luckily in this area the hurricanes do not come this way but you never know! That’s a lot that’ll soon be cleared and in some cases, the lots where these are built do not have any trees around
are these in law suite houses by k hovnanian still available in ocala?

I love this model! Especially if you want added income for mortgage or if you want a family member to live with you. My grandmother would definitely be the person in that bedroom 😊
Can we get kitchen cabinets in other colors? Include a small stove in the in-law area? What was the price. Of the market property just like this. I want to buy it.
That extra room or 4th bedroom would be my game room and gym.

Beige carpet pulls the eye down it should of been lighter color carpet or marble white floor to make it look bigger in the room..

Yes this is a spec home builder not custom. There aren't too many custom builders that have affordable prices or homes to record but I like that you have the capability to make it your own after closing without having to spend a pretty penny :)

Hi John! The builder actually allows you to select the color cabinets you want. They have 3 different styles to choose from this one was one of the pre planned ones

Just coming across this video does this builder have anymore like this? I’m looking to invest in Florida as I will be moving out of NY when I retire and this layout is perfect for me so I can use the seperate apartment for myself when I travel to Florida very interested in something like this
This builder just released 2 but they sold very quick. I am on the list to be notified as soon as they get the home. Do you have the option of gas stove versus electric especially in hurricane zone if you lose electricity.
There aren’t many areas that do gas here in Florida. You can find a couple depending on what part you’re looking at. An example would be Polk County. They do tend to get hurricanes and there’s a couple of communities that are gas. In Ocala, they do not get hit by hurricanes it’s typically the rain from the outskirts. Nothing too crazy. Someone thought I was crazy for even having a generator
I lived thru hurricane Andrew circa August of '92. 3 weeks of BBQs and had to get lots of ice to keep things cool. Andrew hit Miami bad. No gas which is good when natural occurrences do happen. You don't want a gas chain reaction in your neighborhood. Get a concrete block home, put away solar panels and if you have them in your roof, most likely a very strong hurricane will rip it apart from the roof. Get a survival bunker either inside a room or in the garage. Nothing to fear.... lol....
MAKE HOUSES WITH UPSTAIRS FLOOR
Not many people request these homes but this builder does have 2 story floor plans available in central Florida just not here in Ocala. Other builders do have 2 story homes
They should have added some colored tiles vs all white. Kitchen and baths are very very boring. Whats going on in the neighbor's yard? Rentals will be difficult since the suite doesn't have a stove and in-law has no sitting area.
Haven't yet watched video, but that seems to match the exterior. No curb appeal what so ever.
That's because it's up to you to put the finishing touches. These types of homes are what I call canvases.

Hello! So depending on the area some companies are leaving but there have been no issues with obtaining homeowners insurance. 🙂

It has the door on the side. Most people do this with their family. Parents who are older/in laws because they are close but not in the same house technically. Thank you for watching!
@@winwithwendoly it would be better to have a door separately. Case in point…we are the elderly, and our single son lives in the studio - in case we need him, but he wants his privacy and vice versa

That would be nice. Some builders don’t do it because there’s so many people who do not want a tub in their houses. I’ve actually experienced this a lot where clients do not want the home because of the tub.
Cutting costs. They should at least do one bathroom with a tub
