- Опубліковано 14 жов 2024
- This video provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to do a half double crochet stitch (hdc). The half double crochet stitch differs from the single crochet stitch by the number of yarn overs and how many loops you pull the hook through.
Shout out to The Woobles for making the clearest and easiest to follow tutorials. The Woobles team has been a lifesaver when I want to follow a pattern.
Because I would have never figured it out if it wasn't for that
Real
I spent close to 30 mins. looking at other "tutorials" with little to no help gained from it. Then you guys popped up and I was saved❤ 🙌 ❤. This channel is a project saver!
Seriously….? You had this much trouble learning such a basic stitch? Did you also have trouble understanding how to yarn over?
Omg same autumnament9735
@@stancexpunks cmon don’t be rude, for some people it’s easy and for others (like me) it may be confusing…
@@stancexpunks😅😅😅😅😮😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I had to watch this video a lot I don't understand why people are so rude@@belaa-yx3kw
You guys are where I go to FIRST to learn new crochet stitches. Everyone else goes WAY to fast and don’t break down the stitch this clearly.
SAME!!!😊😊😊
Love the woobles so much!
YESSS I started with a kit from crochetta, and it looked wrong, milked, extremely wrong, but when I did a woobles kit and watched the tutorials, I understood it immediately
Hands down the most simple and clear tutorial, finally makes sense thank you so much for this video
I've been going to this channel every time I need to learn (or remember lol) how to do something crochet wise. You never cover the camera with your hands, you pause to let us see how many strands there are and you explain every single step so clearly in such a short video. Extremely to the point. Amazing job and thank you so much for helping so many :)
The tutorials from this page are hands down the easiest to follow. I’m trying to do patterns that don’t have videos & I have to keep coming back here to figure out the abbreviations. Thank you!
The woobles is a real one for making it so simple and easy to understand 🙌
Thank you so much for all your clear explanations and videos. I have embarked on my crochet journey because of your kit... and now I'm hooked on making all types of amigurumis! Thank you for having the vision to teach people new things!
This is hands down the best demonstration on this subject. Will absolutely look to this channel for future projects.
Thank you so much wobbles! You can’t find a better tutorial on any platform than this ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your tutorials. I don't even bother looking at other channels, your instructions and visuals are the clearest there is!
I started learning how to crochet literally this morning. This is the third stitch im trying, and the pattern im using dosent explain what i need it too. I shall be back as soon as i figure out what its trying to say. Thanks!
Dunno why but there's an axolotl tutorial that made me good at crocheting in a day. But ua-cam.com/play/PL-KEOQJ7DzrE_KKSfnF60vdjDkFiEKoDL.html&si=rnlDCB9l7Z1Tgnhv
Kind of slow for me as someone who has been crocheting for a year (I didn't use a hdc for any of the things i have made until now lol) but if i were a beginner, this would have been the perfect thing for me. it's simple, easy, and you can clearly see what she is doing! great job woobles!
Thank you for getting to the point and making it easy to understand. Great tutorial.
Love your videos, you make it short, sweet, and simple! Thank you!!!
I’ve learned so much from the Woobles kits and tutorials! I’m now attempting my first crochet blanket with confidence! ❤
BEST TUTORIAL EVER
i love your channel, such a clear tutorial!
Love the simple short explanation - thx!
How wonderful to find straightforward, clear, easy to see and understand instruction on the basics. Well done - I am now following :~)
I’m so happy to find this site!!!
Thank youuuuuu for making this so quick and simple!!
Perfectly simple explanation, thank you
I finally learned it !! Thank u so much
Simple easy and clear tutorial thank you 😺👍
So, if I understand correctly, it's a like a single crochet but you yarn over before sticking it in the hole? Am I mistaken? (This way of thinking about it makes it easier to remember)
Thank you so much😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much for these videos!💗
Thank you! I love your kits.
Thank you! ❤❤❤
nice tutorial
Thank you so much❤
You are a legend, thank you!!!
You are an Angel!!!!
Thank you!!!
Thank you so much 👍
Thanks for your help.
Would really love to see this from the first chain
I had to do that recently for some cat ears. Just put the hook in the middle of the chain. (Not completely under the chain) It was the second chain though which is when most patterns say to start because it’s not really possible to start in the first one.
So, I know how to do these stitches, but what exactly do they accomplish that a SC wouldnt? I usually just crochet from a pattern, and trust the pattern, but I'm curious what exactly this (and double crochet, triple crochet, etc) does for shaping?
Yes, I also would like to know how these stitches function and why they are used.
Like she said it’s slightly taller than a single crochet, but not twice as tall(that’s what double crochets are). It just helps for the shape :)
Do you have a tutorial for a HDC3?
Only thing is that she starts from a ball and I wish they made one of starting from a magic circle.
Ok, so I'm right-handed, but I hold the hook in my left hand. Do right-handed people usually hold the hook in their right hand? Every crotche tutorial I've ever watched the hook is always in their right hand.
What kind of yarn is used in this video please?
The Woobles company sells that type of yarn(Easy Peasy Yarn), and there’s one that’s pretty similar called beginner yarn.
❤
Is a double half double crochet the same thing as this? I’m trying to follow a pattern and it says (dhdc)
I think that’s a double half double crochet stitch
❤🎉🎉
Why is it so hard for me to pull it through the last three loops? Ugh
Its the same as a dec 😮
No it’s not
