deth and deadgame are the type of guys that are terminally online then go out to social settings and are looked at as nuisance. Forget about touching grass, they need therapy and a psychiatrist.
Is what we would like to believe. After decades in gaming, I know more toxic onlinepeople who are absolutely fine IRL than I know toxic onlinepeople who are degenerates. One of the worst online people I know is a succesful banker in London.

Honestly if you want to climb in SC2, PiGs fundamentals video is as relevant to day as it was when it was made. Helped me get to D2 in my 2 months of playing.
With all the new RTS hype, I really hope one of them can capture us like SC2 has for so long.
Between stormgate and zero space i agree. They both look amazing. Im sure one of them could dethrone sc2. Or push blizzard into developing sc3 there's enough plot left for it. Such as the return of the UED.

But im just saying there was still enough lore in the starcraft universe to create a starcraft 3. If the original developers of the game were still at blizzard it could've been one hell of a game.
Man, that deadgame match was quite a roller coaster wasn't it? It's a like a Greek tragedy of a person deeply traumatized by the lifetime of not being GM is SC2, on the verge of getting a handle on their emotions and maybe even starting a healing journey. But the hope is extinguished, and they fall back into the dark cold put of despair and rage 😔

As EXTREMELY annoying as it can be when you get a string of games where you get pushed before the 5 minute mark, it is indeed just part of the game. If you're playing Protoss, then you just have to accept and adapt to the fact that you are weak early and people are going to try and exploit that.

I get a lot of angry people at the end of a game but I don’t get anyone that explodes like this at the end.
Most common thing is something along the lines of: F-bombing (Insert race here).

19:45 OMG, is that a rifle with a scope? and some seconds later a rifle without a scope? There is some real stuff between the lines.
Great cheap holds, that often work with terran is if they are not actively scouting, proxy a barracks and a factory.. and a starport off somewhere, the start port is later... you build 2 bunkers, and 2-3 tanks and neough marines.... the medivacs.. all your doing is producing close neough outside tehir natural and impeding their push out and movement... with tanks and bunkers... this lets you expand a little easier nad good news is you can always retreat.. but it is typically always effective, terran make really great early game holds that don't really effect the over all game, secondly you pus hwithhte tanks to hit refineries and supply depots,, so if buidlings are lost equal value trade... only think is if they go for a drop... be wise to 5-6 minute mark for coutner drops, but typically you can do a fake push slavage and fly everythign back, you will have a delay... in production, but you shoudl have a second barracks and a fusion core, just building or finsihing nad go into battle cruisers and use your troops as defence at home. .and yo ucan swpa bakc and forth with what is needed... blink stalkers will jump on your tanks but if yoru against protoss.. marauders... are fairly good... so meh... protoss contains are okayish not so good against... terran as tanks can easy push out of a cannon entrenchment, the benenfit of terran is that the buildings are utlity, only and the units that do the attacking are always mobile, so terran defence is so much better than protoss.... Zerg is okay... proxy, but since its larva dependent... its better to take the players 4rth... and double hatchery behind it and wall off main.. so you can larva up and drone nad do macro.. IE evo wall with queen guard.. and you cna potentaily lock out hte main, whuilst have your double base up north, cna can spread out tech, IE spawnign pool main, raoch warren secondary state, this way your mining your enemy already adn producing double over there... zerg proxy is easy to defend against ,but zerg early game is imo, fairly hard to push into.... early game... compared ot ther.. and double queen and more allows a producito nand very quick reinforcements... but nydus is helpful for reinforcing the base... and retreating workers... etc... forcing your opponeent to push and kill you out of your base is great work, and of course drops are what you need to worry about ,but ther are ways to deal with drops more effeciently... noetheless I woudl say, what isn't done more oftne is terran pushes just outside the natural or off a scout line.. the poitn is to make a siege wall... and you can even mine nad make a planetary.. the hwole point is to to make it cost your opponenet time nad mining, but oftne the main and natural do provide quite a substantial purse of minerals... so meh. I lie the guys thought process behind the strat.

The term started more as a commentary on players min/maxing every game, all the time, to the detriment of their own experience with the game. Like the people who worried about gearscore when wrath of the lich king came out on the very first dungeon, or the people playing rpgs like Fallout New Vegas and rather than making fun choices on their first playthrough they follow a guide to max their stats and have their choices made for them. It was never meant to be a criticism of someone trying to play well competitively.

it is appalling how in that last game someone can scan a natural, not see any base, and their immediate thought is "lol this guy is stupid and bad at the game" and move on like it was nothing instead of having every single alarm bell in their head go off and them trying to FRANTICALLY figure out what is going on. like... if you didnt actually want to do anything with that information, why tf did you scan it then??
