How can you not love this guy?! Greatest attitude, looks like a good guy to hang out with, sickest skating, and crazy trick selections with amazing style! Beast!💥
And god bless the dude in the creek… taking the strides and frost bite to help illustrate THE RAW ART behind it all. I love everything that skateboarding has become to be these days.
goddamn. the cameraman in the wetsuit in a freezing river, Decenzo in those huge boots getting his board AND using a snowskate to extend the runway. This is some wild shit.
@@recession81 Basically any time it the full runway is in frame 1:22 you can see it pretty well. Might be a snowboard now that I've taken another look at it though?
@@non_brewed_condiment Oh I see it now yeah that's definitely a snowboard you can see where your feet go in on the bottom but damn that was hard to notice
@@recession81 yeahh, for some reason when I watched it the first time I thought I saw grooves on the bottom so I thought snow skate, but when I watched it on my computer I realized it was too long and I could kind so see bindings. Cool runway extension either way, I'm surprised I noticed it at all lol
We need posters of that amazing shot ! also out of respect to the hero cameraman standing in the water freezing his nuts off to get the shot. This was so sick ! Ryan is a legend and seems like such a chill dude but he's always going insanely hard.
Never would have guessed he was 36, damn!.. Some people somehow manage to stay in the game a bit longer, or in the case of Hawk (who's 54) "A Lot Longer" and are still killing it!..I have a lot of respect for those that no matter what level their game is at, are still out there rollin'!..
@4tounces more fit maybe, but that doesn't keep your body from feeling the years of abuse. Skating at his level is a young man's game and he's still outworking the young guys with shit like this lol. Decenzo, Reynolds, AVE, all those dudes are pushing 40 and still skate like they're 20.
*I love when people elevate the thing they are good at to the level of art. More than simply doing the thing, doing it in a way that adds something unique and innovative to the respected past.*
I once cut the ends off an old snowboard deck and created a ledge from it as the metal edges grind like a dream! but this is the first time I’ve seen an upside-down snowboard be used as a skateboard drop-in. Showcasing the problem solving and creative abilities of the skateboarders brain. The only problem about this video is that is wasn’t long enough!
I'll be quick to admit that I've been sleeping on Decenzo for...basically ever! I've seen him in comps, but for some reason never really investigated. Dude's pretty rad! Sending 20-foot river gaps at 36?! I'm 36. I can barely send a flatground nollie FS beer replenishment!
@@ThisHandleFeatureIsStupid Yeah he does all these insane things: the Huge double set he kickflipped for My War, he 360 flipped the 18 set, He kickflipped the Cinco de Slammo triple set, and now this. But for some reason people don't give him the due props he deserves. And he's been around for a MINUTE too!
@@berightback_ I would argue that FS flip by Rowley is in the top 5 of all time... Right under the 4 that Andrew Reynolds just felt like doing on any given day. lol

I remember a good few years ago, the globe team were on tour in Europe and we're doing demos at different skate parks. They showed up to my local skate park and were absolutely destroyingggg the park like us locals had never seen before.
