I was a fan of this show during all the seasons it aired. I always felt so unsettled and sad after viewing the shows and still do. These stories break my heart, not only for the victims, but also for those left behind who live suspended in grief. When a story is solved, I know at least the family has an answer, however sad it may be.
And that's why polygraph tests are NOT permissible in a court of law. They often result in false negative and false positives. I'll never understand why police put so much credibility into their results. He stopped at a gas station for a quart of oil at 4am? Ya, right, okay. If the police hadn't relied so much on polygraph results they could've had their guy years ahead of time and possibly prevented another SA and homicide.
Polygraphs are crap. Never agree to do one. If you haven’t gotten a lawyer yet, and the police are asking you to do a polygraph test, it’s past time to clam up & lawyer up.
You'd think it was made gold if two goddamb sc*mb*gs were willing to thug up and old lady and shoot her for it. They were willing to risk their lives and freedom to take her belongings and her life.
I was a security guard. We had a guard accidently set his car on fire. It wouldnt start so he sprayed either in the carbrator. By the way going from a cop to a security guard is like a 80 percent pay cut
I agree I think he just had enough of life and went missing by choice but mabey because his car was set on fire someone mite have had a grudge against him and why he was disponede to the fire he was scared of who was after him
it was obviously a case of mistaken identity on the first hit and then the correct one on the 2nd murder and not 2 separate unrelated instances. Police detectives couldn't find a murdered body if they tripped over it.
So the actual murderer took a polygraph and passed it with flying colors?! Gee what a shocker!! Idont understand why they don't do away with those things all together because obviously anybody can pass one!! Back years ago I had an uncle who worked at Hardee's for yrs and he and the other employees were taking things home from the store and when corporate finally figured out what was going on they made all the employees take a polygraph and my uncle passed his with flying colors while lying through his teeth the whole time!! So like I said before anybody can pass one of them!!
I found it weird how they were looking for a 6’3” African American male when it turned out to be Alfredo Prieto, a Central American mestizo man who wasn’t even Afro-Latino.
Witnesses don't always get things right. A Hispanic man I knew committed a crime but a witness told police he was black. They arrived and harassed a friend of mine who happened to be black. Luckily they backed off immediately.
black skin is black skin. you think everyone knows what the average "mesitzo" man looks like LOL. just because you are aware of these differences doesnt mean everyone is. it is weird that you think it is weird. the person looked black to them. nuff said.
the guy who said curtis couldn't have left on his own because he left his cigarettes sounded like such a tool. suicidally depressed people don't worry about their smokes lol
That suspect in the rape and murder wasn't even African-American if I'm not mistaken he was Dominican... But when in doubt I always blame it on the black guy
He wasn't Mexican he was Dominican which is almost like a Black person problem why his hair came back to African American DNA, but then again they won't admit they made a mistake. 🙄
Dominican are mixed, most have some blk ancestry. In America and to most whte ppl that's blk. To Dominicans, they don't admit to being blk, only Hispanic/Dominican. They don't have the one drop rule outlook there. To whyt Americans he's a light skinned blk. No matter what he's mixed with or his nationality.

Do you feel bad for the criminals who lost their way in life? I do.

They're not admissible but every detective to this day base their investigation by who failed and who passed a polygraph
It’s admissible
I've stopped for oil at 4 am. I work nights.
She went to my college in my hometown.
serial killers notoriously pass polygraphs because they just don't care. I believe Ted Bundy passed one.

Unfortunately many people can’t afford a good attorney
Even if you can’t afford an attorney, it costs absolutely nothing to invoke your right to remain silent.
You have the right to incriminate yourself by not staying silent and then involving your right to legal representation.
So glad that they have updates!!👍
"Priesto was executed for his crimes."
...Good!

I was just saying "Finally" cuz they always is update saying they were caught, convincted, served their time and has been released

I feel like a lot of these missing woman from these shows are put in to the sex slave trade
I agree because of their age and it’s a network of people who traffic/ making it harder to track just one person. It’s a criminal organization.

Yea that’s the same thing I thought. And he wasn’t even Afro-Latino. He was most likely mestizo: indigenous & Spaniard mix.
