This is my wheel and I really like it. It feels like a professional wheel to me. I added a yellow bat fabric sticky thing and set my bats on it. It works great and I dont miss the bat pins at all now.

@@lailahsmommy1 she is talking about a bate at which you put under your bat so it does not wobble around (the bat is a plastic circle the size of your wheel had the goes on top of the wheeland can be removed to let peices dry

I bought the $120 version for my nieces to use, because my Brent (❤) is way too big for them.
It worked, and I was ticked with their joy, but the wheel is, no question, inferior quality to a good wheel. The top wasn't sealed, so I had to use silicone sealant to make sure water couldn't drip down into the motor housing and the front plate fell off during the unboxing. Not surprised and not angry for the price, just.. It is what it is. They loved it, and I love that they love it.

Dry your hands or fingertips before you try to lift the piece when you are removing directly off the wheel head.

Also make sure you get all the slip off the piece as well!

You did a great job comparing...honest and straight forward.I have this wheel as well as a higher end wheel I bought used. The $200. wheel is great for someone like myself in the beginning stages. My husband modified to use bats, and extended the bottom legs so it would be higher. I found it was low even for me a 5'1" person. I thought about selling it but I 'm keeping it for a back up. It does the job. Great honest video!!!!!

@jeanniepratt1326 Would your husband know how to fix an un-centered wheel? I got mine and the wheel is off-centered and wobbling. VEVOR is no help. TIA if he has any pointers.

That wheel slows down around 3.5-4 lbs. I took some 220 grit sandpaper and went over the wheel head. I also got PVC pipe to make it a little taller.

Without using bats? The first 100 pots are the hardest, then after 5 years you may ask why waste time with them. It may be just dreaming but after a lifetime I saw a video of Johnny Leach taking a plate off without a bat.

I bought a kick wheel off Facebook Marketplace and while I like it, the difficulty of moving it in there had me wishing I got an electric one. I'm just not allowed to move for a long, long time.

My max was 3 lbs. The specifications read 25 lbs capacity and the big heavy duty ones are 100 lb. I am not sure if that holds true.

Bought this same wheel last month because it had a lot of good reviews. Unfortunately, the wheel head is off-centered and wobbling. VEVOR's customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. Their website says 30-day no-hassle returns, but getting a new wheel has been the biggest hassle ever! Their first reply was for me to wait 3 weeks for a repair kit so that I could fix it myself. We've gone back and forth several times and each time they refuse to let me return the wheel - they keep upping the incentive to keep it. So far they're giving me $125 to keep it. Does anyone know how to fix it? I have no idea and now I'm stuck with an off-centered pottery wheel.

I started on a budget wheel. It was ok but the bat system is a draw back for me. The pins would hit my drip pan if I put them in. It’s been reliable but I’m ready to upgrade.

Tip for removing pottery off the wheelhead:
Remove slip from the exterior of pot with a rib.
Dry/wipe your hands off before touching the pot.

That wheel has been "reviewed" by numerous channels. Yes, it spins the wheel head around. Yes, you can make pottery with it. Ok. What about the shoddy build quality? What about the lack of any proper safety certification? What about wiring safety in the presence of water??
