We live in Troutdale VA and our neighbors are dead missing or homeless and we have seen no FEMA or federal aid at all our government has abandoned us... PLEASE get this out there ...
I’m SO sorry and that’s absolutely disgusting that they haven’t been helping anyone during this catastrophe through 6 states !! Please let me know what I can do to help you ! I’m in Jax, Fla but would like to help but very worried about where to send money because so often it does not go into the hands that need it !
I'm donating to a small You Tube Channel Husband &Wife that I watch, they live in Tennessee and are doing their Best to Drive Around bringing Aid, gas, water, food, pet food, every little bit helps.
The mountains are beautiful this time of year...... Many people visit. The air is fresh, well oxygenated and slightly scented in the forests. . Could there be a form of tourism where people can offer time and enthusiasm to clean up ?
@@Enjoyer.762 Our neighbors helped each other, we had water to share, and another neighbor was able to provide food. We were in a somewhat remote area so we had to fend for ourselves until the Mayor was able to get his trucks on our street.

@@jonproctor3739 via PI A rhetorical question is a figure of speech in the form of a question that is asked to produce an effect, not to gain information. It is a question asked to emphasize a point, provoke thought, or stimulate the imagination, rather than to elicit an answer. Rhetorical questions can be used as a persuasive technique, challenging the listener or reader to think about an issue from a different perspective. They can also add emphasis to a statement or express doubt, disbelief, or sarcasm. Here are some examples of rhetorical questions: * "Are we not all equal in the eyes of the law?" * "What's the point of going on if we can't even enjoy life?" * "Is the Pope Catholic?" * "Do we really need another excuse to procrastinate?" * "If practice makes perfect, and nobody's perfect, then why practice?" Remember, in a rhetorical question, no answer is expected, as its purpose is to engage the listener or reader and promote reflection on the topic at hand.
@@jonproctor3739 Yes, it's true that there is evidence suggesting that storms in Florida are getting stronger and more destructive due to the impacts of climate change. Here are some key points: * Warmer ocean waters: As the Earth's atmosphere warms, ocean waters also warm up, providing more energy for tropical storms and hurricanes to intensify. * Higher winds and storm surges: Climate change is causing stronger winds and higher storm surges during hurricane season, leading to more destructive storms. * Record rainfalls: Warmer air can hold more moisture, resulting in record rainfalls during hurricanes and tropical storms, increasing the risk of flooding. * Slower-moving storms: Climate change is also causing hurricanes to move slower, leading to prolonged rainfall and increased flooding. As a result of these factors, Florida is facing more damaging hurricanes and tropical storms, and it's important for state leaders and policymakers to take steps to address climate change and mitigate its impacts on the state. via PI

Maybe use Google to research the definition of a rhetorical question and exchange condescension for education?
