- I asked the best players in Art of War: Legions to rank every troop on a tier list and they did. So, today we're going to check out tier lists, see what they have to say about the troops in the game, and then, at the end of the video, we’re going to average out the rankings to see which troops are truly considered the best. I’ll explain more about that later. It should be fun so make sure to stick around towards the end of the video.

Thanks for the video! Been waiting for it after all these troops stats changes. Good idea with this points thing! You should keep it in the next videos. Tbh it's not very convinient having these troop names wiritten and numbers if you want to figure out which tier that actually is on the average. Would be great if after showing the points table you would also do a graphic for this, like you usually do with troop tiers. So we calcuale the average point (score) for each troop. We divide the number of points of the troop by the number of players' tiers you used. As a mathematician I suggest equaly spreading the tiers thresholds for better evaluating. S-tier would be the scores 7 - 6,75, S-A tier (when you put the troop picture between the S and A tier) is 6,75 - 6,25, A-tier 6,25 - 5,75, A-B tier 5,75-5,25 etc.
For example, the point of Pumpkin Guard is 37,5. 37,5/7=5,36, which means we put it to the A-B tier (between A and B tiers on the graphic)
It is up to you and not necessary to make seperate tiers between D and E, as well as E and F, because here it is not important, so D tier could be 3,25 -2,50, F tier 2,50 - 1,50, everything lower than that would be F tier apparently.

Can u make videos about formation for leveling? Im pretty sure, majority of your viewers are not reaching level 10.000 yet. We need tips on what formation and heroes works best, as our army and heroes are limited. Thankyou.
It's only lvl 8000 for now. You can find any kind of formations you need on the reddit, i just recently saw someone post his formation with a pretty low lvl davison. Otherwise leveling davison is always good as preparation for lvl 10000 and also he and chione are the best f2p arena heros right now.

So how exactly do you replace troops that are in the "trash" part of the tier list? I have a level 8 cactus, but no other level 8, or good level 7 troop to replace it. Is a level 6 troop really better than a level 8 cactus for example?
Level 6 peltast or frozen archers are definitely better than level 8 cacti. Maybe a level 6 stone golem and rhinos are still better than the level 8 cactus. From then below, replacing with one level inferior troops is fine, but not two levels below.

Stone Gollems are best trolling behind your artillary aka Ice Archers Taurus Witchers Ice mages etc. They move at the same pace and stay with them perfectly. They draw ghost assassins and Magic appretices like flies. Best rear defence unit in the game far and away.

when you say good in "early game" how early is that? Like until what level are we not considered early gamers? i'm on stage 1421. I'm still not sure which troops to invest in. I'm F2P. Also not sure whether to buy the 120k 4 star troops or the 30 troops for 240k. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

so how would one compare Legendary or Epic higher ranked troops that are at lower levels with Lower ranked troops at higher levels -- i.e,., i only have one Rhino Knight (lvl 1) -- can i replace a Paladin (level 8)? or will a Brawlers (lvl 6) or Templar Knight (lvl 7) replace a Palidin (lvl 8)

great work. Thank you for those information and ties list. I started to play like one week ago so im kinda rooky. Can anyone explain why peltasts are that important and how to use them ?
Cause of their skills. 1st: every shoot make their damage higher. 2nd: they can move backward while shooting, giving them chance to avoid enemy. 3rd: they are 9 load army.
