Congratulations driver that you made a LATE DELIVERY, with a clear BOL.
You didn't have any accidents with major liabilities or deaths against you.
Your STILL TRUCKING for another Day!
My point is this,
There are drivers who didn't make delivery, trying that "hurry up" game that had accidents, and lost EVERYTHING.
Their truck, the load, damage to property, those situations have to be settled before they will return to the seat to drive again.
We are ALL PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS, hired on to become "Team Members" of a carrier.
Therefore, my conversation is professional, whether you agree with me or not, I'm not going to allow you to get into a verbal confrontation, about how I handle my driving of the truck.
It's "MY CALL" about driving the truck, if I communicate that I'm going to be late, due to adverse weather conditions, well reschedule the delivery, I'm going to be late. FULL STOP.
I'd rather be late, then not get there at all!
No dispatcher is going to drive my truck, from behind their desk.
No dispatcher is going to holler, scream at me over the phone, then expect me to drive from stress they created.
If those are the situations that you're facing every day, then maybe it's time for you to consider driving for someone else.
Good Safe Drivers ARE IN DEMAND !
I don't drive under stress, I have "FUN ON MY RUN", make a few dollars, defiantly without being stressed out.
Now make the call that's best for YOU!

Thing is a lot of carriers guilt trip you over being late, and I had enough of being treated like it's my fault when they give tight loads. When I communicate, they don't seem real thrilled about anything late, but again yeah it's our cdls at stake. I don't mind speaking my mind, and thankfully the lord had me learn to speak my mind more kindly than aggressively. It got to a point where I just said it is what it is cause you get threatened to be fired for rejecting a load. Thankfully I didn't have hos problems much, but a violation isn't happening on my end, and I'll state it clearly and at that point I don't care what they say if I have no time left.

Hello Ms, I had to subscribe to your channel. This brings back memories, I worked shipping and receiving at a chemical company here in Mississippi. I loaded and unloaded many prime trucks. Your channel is clean, I had to unsubscribe some channels because of their obscene language. You make backing your trailer look so easy. Keep up the good work. God bless.

I can’t remember the Walmart dc I’ve been to but they had us do the same thing with the photos. Everything about that dc was different from your typical WM DC. Even the traffic office was laid out differently.

I couldn’t do otr because it’s not enough money for the shit that you have to put up with and I’m a local driver hauling fuel and I’m home every night with a set schedule and make over $100.000 per year
Better short on product for claim, than overage, especially if it's quite a bit to dump. If it's a couple small cases, and claims leaves it to you to get rid of, that's even not bad.

She was in the driving lane, the other driver had to merge into her lane from the fuel island, and they have to yield to her!! basically anytime you have to make a turn from a parallel position of traffic or stationary objects, you must yield! Back to the basics of driving is needed for all!

With delivering loads, I see people just go in and say you have a load for delivery. Sometimes they take you. If they say you’re early play dumb.

It’s part of trip planning. Know your availability and time to make the delivery on time. If you can’t just tell your FM. Never a problem if you have a legitimate reason to deny the load or ask to reschedule your 90. Be a professional at your craft.
