I agree so much lol. I tried playing risk after watching a couple 2 hour long matches of a grandmaster and I didn't have much fun because I kept getting beaten. Even if CG is nowhere near as high ranked, his ability to say the strategy that he's going for means that it's muuuuch easier to critique his moves. After a few videos I've started pointing out his blunders, if I was watching the grandmaster, I wouldn't think to point anything out because everything he did seemed perfect to me since he wasn't thinking out loud. I think that CG's "think out loud" approach helps new players get better at the game much quicker because they get used to thinking about some of the more complicated strategic parts of the game and thinking about social.
Bots get glued to big stacks and are much less likely to roll off them. So usually best not to cap next to a bot, so your cap position was great to take the bot cap. Great video.
Blue could have stopped the win at the begining but they were to focused on caps and holding 2 bonuses , they were still playing a 4 player match when there were only 2 players that had caps and blue jad the inferior posstioned caps
I think you are definitely as good as Masters. Grand Masters are something else entirely but I truly believe you will hit their level. Grand Masters just have experienced everything which can only come with time. Most Grand Masters get their rank in 1v1 in fear of losing rank because of too many low rank players. Doing what you do in random matches is impressive.
Ya Orange was Screwed when he lost cap t1 slow rolled it back and you then snatched it and then you moved up and snatched Black's cap somewhat shortly thereafter basicly sunk them unless they could consolidate themselves in a corner or something for card trading
CG, have you played any titles in the Total War franchise? If you can find the audience for it, I think you would do well playing it, and narrating. Either live or replays as Pixelated Apllo does.
How u pick what cards to trade in is interesting. u care more about putting up 3 of a kind than where the extra troops are going or if ur using more than 1 of the extra troop cards when u dont have to.
Poor orange, lost cap turn 1, slow rolled it back, then immediately loses it again
Honestly didn't even know i liked risk a month ago, you got me hooked on these constant uploads
Same here, always looked boring. But I only manage to watch him and now one else
Same here but it was before 6 months
Same
Probably for 3months now
Couldn't of said it better myself xD
The reason I watch CG Plays is because he's able to think out loud. It's so much better than silence.

Bot stacking in front of your 1 point hold is nice when you have an exterior position

Messing up the orange kill because you forgot you saw his second position while smashing blue ended up working out for you.
probably should have capped on that split bonus to add a defence bonus, but hindsight is 20/20
I find it funny you didn’t see black take orange cap on turn 1 and only see orange take it back
You are great cg plays! I Love watching your videos! You have helped me get a lot better on risk as well! Keep it up!
You are so far ahead you have a 31 and 47 stack buried for no reason lol
My favourite mode so far is fixed capitals blizzard with fog of war. SO much room for error and surprises 😀
Whos here to watch his old vids just cause we been missing his risk games
Spoiler shield 🛡️
Yes
nice try!
These maps are getting crazier everytime
Take black for cards!! Grr several rounds was showing black vulnerability. Then white, and maybe cap run. End game : )
this guy has a satisfying voice. could probably make anything interesting to watch.

SECTOR E ONE POINT HOLD
song name 27:32 ???
Are the grey areas supposed to look pixelated?
I will always wait for the end of video line there is it is......
what song is playing at 28:00?
What does using the slider to adjust the amount of troops involved do?
makes it so only a certain amount of troops will fight so if you get really bad rolls you don't lose too many troops
The 31 stack 33:03 😂
did anyone else see that if he put his cap next to oranges cap he would have only a one point hold in sector d after taking everything else there
I realize cg would not like to play chess
2p hold at 12'o clock
I have never been to your main channel
Can you try playing Polytopia it’s also a Strategie game don’t know if you already played it ?
