Ok, this one isn’t necessarily for all my regular peeps so thank you to all of you who watch it anyway. I tried forever to find a video to teach me how to replace the impeller on my snowblower and never found one. I sort of pieced together bits of info and went for it. My hope is that this will help someone else ☺️
Yes not for me! We had our first snowfall of .7 inches. It had not snowed in over 1000days before that. I am a widow and would have to hire someone if we get any significant snowfall! Not bragging just stating my reality!
Love this video! Twelve years ago, I was able to troubleshoot a problem and fix my snowblower thanks to a UA-cam video. The problem was the speed governor drive and the fix was a paperclip! To this day, I have no idea of what a speed governor drive is but my 30+ year old snowblower is still going strong and that paperclip is still in place! Thank you for sharing this video with us and all of UA-cam land!
We watch to support you, H and the goats on Zion Creek. It amazes me how much you accomplish without water and power at the goat barn. Anything we can do to support your efforts is not a waste of time.
Very interesting! I enjoyed watching it all and am so happy that it worked perfectly afterwards. You did a great job of explaining it all as you went along. I know this video will help anyone who needs it.
Awesome job, Shawn! Mrs. H is a very blessed woman to have such a handyman! I have never had one. If I needed something done, I had to do it myself or pay through the nose to have it fixed. I am one of those girls who loved to hang out with my Dad when he fixed stuff. So watching you work on a snow blower was kinda refreshing. My Dad passed almost 6 years ago, but he battled cancer for a good 11/ 2 years. So he was never able to work on stuff for like a good 7-8 years so I kinda enjoyed this video. Brought me back. 😊 Thanks. I'm so glad you got it working again and I know you are. God bless.😊
This is what we call an evergreen video… meaning, it’s always going to be relevant so the info won’t go out of date. If it’s monetized, it should always earn income. I live in a hot climate with no snow and have never owned a snow blower personally yet here I am learning how to replace the spinning thing inside a snow blower 😂
You did a good job ! You put it back together and didn’t have any parts left over! Glad you were able to fix it yourself, I would have had to take it somewhere to have them work it n it and would have paid about half of what a new one would have cost! Stay warm, we are going to have a warm up this weekend then into the pilot plunge the first few days of the new week!🥶🥶🥶🥶
Shawn i watched your video. It helps out for people to watch so you get credit. I lived out in the country 8 miles from town. We use to get snowed in alot. I wish we had one of them back in my day. I would of never got through fixing that. I found it interesting. Hope your goaties are okay. Hope you don't get alot of snow this coming weekend & early Monday. We are preparing for frigid temperature it will be -1 & -3 below for lows. And about 11 for highs. No looking forward to it. You stay warm get prepared. See you next video. Good evening!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for watching. Not sure how much snow we’re getting this weekend because we’re supposed to get rain and snow. So I guess it will depend on how long it snows before turning to rain. We have 0 and 0 and -7 coming at us. So 3 nasty days and them close to 30
@@zioncreekfarm wow your weather sounds as bad or little worse than us here in Kansas. Your 0,0, -7 snow ❄️🥶🌨️❄️🥶🌨️❄️ rain you can keep. I will say prayer for you all to stay safe, stay warm, & all your fur, & feathered babes all fair in this weather. Take care
Shawn, you're very lucky that you are handy with stuff like this! I'd end up having to buy a whole new snowblower! You do an amazing job! I enjoy watching this as much as anything else you show us! Just be very careful working around the blades that you don't lose a hand or a finger! I'm sure it's no fun working in the freezing temps!!! I'm praying you can get it all put back together, and it works like a charm! Stay warm and safe! I love you guys so very very much!!! 💖🥰❤️🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Shawn. Well, that was a lot of work. All different sized bolts, screws, and pins, but you got it all back together, and it's working great. Way to go. Thanks for the video on how to do it. Ya'll take care and stay as warm as you can.
Good job! Mechanics wisdom is that when you have to tear something down to fix it and there are belts in the mix, replace them at the same time. Then save the old belts for when a belt breaks and you don't have time to run to the store to buy new ones.💖
Glad to see it all worked out and she’s back up and running! I HATE working on stuff when it’s so cold out. The number of ads that came up while watching was insane. Hope you get a decent payout from UA-cam for all of them.
HURRAY‼‼ It works again. To be honest I listened more than I watched. When you are bedridden you are less concerned with that. But it doesn't stop me from supporting you since you were with Lester and Jami.🧡🧡
May never ever need this info but enjoy watching and learning thing never to old to learn.sure easier using a snow blower than a shovel like when I was a girl.Oh the fun my older brother would of had with that back then.😂😂😂.If you could of got it out in the snows back then. Good job under horrible condition never tears up inwarmer weather ❤.
Hi Shawn. You have a new snow blower? Or is this yours that needs repairing? Oh, I guess it’s your broken one. Aww, that isa new part you are putting in. I’m not mechanical at all - can you tell😂🤪 ? Plus it’s so cold! 🥺. So you have self repaired your snowblower. Great job. You are very handy. Take care and happy snow blowing❤️🥰👍
Great job! I would have set it on fire if I had to figure that out. No, just kidding I would have hired someone to do it or bought a new one but THANKFULLY living in MS the 2 inches of snow we got a week or so ago is a good amount for us! We will get some ice occasionally, in the winter but few and far between are the beautiful soft snowfalls we can enjoy. But I do not like cold so therefore I live in warmer temperatures. Sending you and Mrs. H. ❤ and blessings. Hoping the Goatess are doing well! And you know….give Ms Cookie a BIG HUG AND KISS from me! Hope all the family is doing well.
I'm shocked you haven't had someone send you at least a new snow blower or three yet ❤ from uk and the things you can do with a scrap piece of wood but plz watch the nails
Can the front part of your snowblower be raised up so you don’t catch stones or small pieces of wood. I have that adjustment on my snowblower and it really helps. 😊 I also think we’re getting your below zero weather here in the Chicago suburbs Sunday night or Monday not quite sure but they’re predicting five below zero at night Burr. Stay warm 😊
Prayers for health and safety!🙏❤️🙏 Wouldn't it be easier to buy a new one? It's nice to be thrifty, but there are limits. Have fun with your toys, and I'm going to go put a nice book nook/3D puzzle together. Be safe!
TRUE STORY... HUSBAND and I use to work at a shop called Q.S.M. Quality spring manufacturing .. hete in ohio he was shift supervisor. Me just a winder.. O.k. we wound springs for ANY THING you had to pull a cord to start. One day my husband was SHOCKED a representative from TORO , came in, said the samples they recieved was OUTSTANDING , BUT if we could make them a little more loose, They would do a contract with the company.. Short story.... They didnt want the springs to last to much past the 1 year warranty... Companies get you ONE WAY OR ANOTHER... BUT AFTER ABOUT 20 YEARS COMPANY DIWN SIZED AND OUR BUILDING CLOSED UP... Yep cant make they like they use to
🤣 it took a couple of big rocks from the driveway and a stick or 2 and I hit a piece of cattle panel once….. I think that’s everything though 🤣 Oooohhh, also ice because of thaw/freeze on the driveway, occasionally you get a big chunk of ice. Spinning things don’t like hard objects 😬

Good tutorial,
Machines fascinate me. The thought process of making all the part to get the machine to do what is intended to do is mind boggling to me.
Be safe ❤😊❤

Works for me. I learned how to patch a hole in drywall the right way by watching UA-cam videos. I was so proud of myself.😊😊😊
That is impressive. Nice job
I look forward to you videos
Very impressive. My husband and boys talk guy stuff all the time I can appreciate “fixing” videos.

In Canada, 'friends with benefits' means neighbour with a snowplow.
😂
Your knowledge and skills always impress me. Great job Shawn!

I watch to support you, "H" and the beautiful goats, chickens, cats & rabbits, soap!!!!❤❤ Even if I am a little late to the show!!!!😊😊
Wow Shawn .. you did amazing with no tutorial for what you needed to do ... if watching gives a smidgen of support and helps I am here for ya 💞💞💞

There was an insane amount of ads for some reason, got 30 seconds of video between each ad!
Thank You Shawn 👍🏻

🤣 you’re cracking me up!! We bought that snowblower the first winter we built here because the driveway is near 600 ft and I’m not shoveling that 🤣
I do hope you can find a heater for your garage. It would be so much easier to work on things

Luckily I live in Texas 😊😂❤

Amazes me you can do that with gloves on. I couldn't.
I hate wearing gloves but it was around -4 windchill and everything I was touching was metal.
@@zioncreekfarm in all honesty, I couldn't do a tenth of what you do in a days time. Thankful you share. You re a blessing to me.😼💕
That is some impressive damage to that one blade! My goodness.
I never have trouble taking things apart... it's putting them back together 🤦
🤣 I do that sometimes. Especially since it took a week for the part to arrive. I didn’t find any leftover parts or bolts so that’s always good 🤣
Dang what kinda snow y’all got up there to bust your toy up like that. What a pain in the butt !
