I need that General Lee in my collection. The town I grew up in is closely associated with the old Dukes of Hazzard television series. They literally got the name for the show from the name of the city I grew up in (and misspelled it, but that's neither here nor there). The cast of the show came to our local fair for years, and brought the car to show off in our parade. To have an actual 1/12 scale General Lee that I can pose with my figures means the world to me.
Now to sit back, and see how many people in the comments call me racist.

So I wonder how close to scale this would be to a couple actual polystyrene revel models I built?? About 5-6 yrs ago revel released 1/12 scale model cars they had a 1979 Camero and a 2014 Shelby GT 500 mustang and they’re in storage till my daughter son in law n gbaby move out n I get my play area back??

So as I'm watching the video just a few notes I could be wrong but I just want to make a statement in case I'm not I believe they talked about adding weapons as an add on later on for this. Florida apocalypse type car that you're talking about you may want to speak to him about it I believe it's more like a punisher style setup complete with the gate sliding up and down I could be wrong maybe that's for the van but either way I think that there is something like that in the works for this car if you did a certain amount of numbers as far as selling I don't remember the other thing is if I remember correctly also the lights have the ability to either rotate or to just flash off and on again not sure but make sure to ask him just to be on the safe side. 👍🏼

As a french Canadian for me the car dukes of hazzard reminds me of my childhood when I listened to the t.v. show at the age of 5 and it would not be complete without the flag and the horn... there is no reason related to racist in that.

When Dukes were on TV we were all just kids in the neighborhood all mixed races. We never noticed the difference between ourselves, we were into the show and all kinds of other pop culture, playing together with figures. Playing make believe in the parks, pretending those picnic tables were the General. The show was just some silly 80s TV program. The difference is in today’s world and still rocking that flag pridefully on your truck or whatever, is just plain ignorant. No one should ever be shamed for a sticker on a toy. It’s part of our history and we should learn from it. It’s no different to have a Nazi symbol on a German soldier toy.

I’m with you on the light situation. I like it better. If it were to just glow, the circular motion looks odd when the car is sitting, still, and doesn’t rotate fast enough when it’s in motion. Still love this freaking thing though.

I'm not sure if this is relevant or not. But a few months ago when Fast X came out in theaters, AMC theater was selling a collection of popcorn vessels that look like Dodge 70's charger's. It's not actually as big as the1/12 scale, but I think it might be great for fans who can't afford the Ramen Racer. In fact the AMC version of this Collection is suppose to cost about 30 bucks. Or more on ebay. Just thought you might like to know.
