Friday the 13th is a bottom of the barrel franchise. If the TV show doesn’t get made horror will NOT lose any sleep over it. Maybe diehard Friday fans but the general audience isn’t checking for Friday the 13th in modern day.

Michael Mann's sole horror film The Keep as a Band Of Brothers meets Hellraiser (if they got an equally ambitious cinematographer) TV show would be rad as well IMO like a horror property (based on a series of novels so multiple season potential is there) with a Dune or Game of Thrones scale of epic...ness.

I just love how you Halloween haters just tend to skip over the massive success of Halloween 2018. Halloween 2018 is the highest grossing slasher to exist, which came AFTER busta rhymes. Michael will always be good. It’s the other horror icons you need to worry about who haven’t put any numbers on the board in decades.
To be fair, this is focused on franchise horror. There are a lot of originals of course, many of which we won't know much about until they begin to market them.
