It is a personal choice, yes, you can do 1.5cm, 2 or more, but the shape will be different. Thank you for your comment.
Even if we use batting the measurement for fabric inside the bag is still same as outside?
@@myzeedahmusa8675 for the batting, just don’t add seam allowance will be ok. and the fabric inside will be the same size as outside.

What is the white cloth on the inside?
The thick one is batting with adhesive, thin one is interfacing with adhesive, we can find in sewing store.
