Andrea, great video. I’ve made these using another pattern which was difficult. Also great tip about attaching the frame using pliers. I do like the look of hand stitching. Thank you!’ 😊
This is incredibly helpful, thank you!! I've got plans to start making coin purses, that also incorporate embroidery. I found all sorts of pre-existing patterns, but want to design my own pattern to the clasps I get. This is perfect for helping me do that!! 🥰
Hi Andrea...Could you share where you purchased the kiss lock frames you used? I have searched extensively and can only find rounded ones or ones with the loops for chains. Thank you so much.
@@Sewspire Hi, yes I searched Amazon and Etsy and even reached out to Everything Mary to see if they had any sources I could explore. There was nothing exactly like what you used. They were either rounded or much smaller...I ended up ordering a couple from an Etsy shop in Portugal...they are 4" but somewhat similar to yours. Hopefully will receive by December!
Thank you for the tutorial. Why do your kiss lock frames open all the way flat? The kiss-lock frame coin purse I love (by Karma) only opens half way. If I try to open it more I am afraid I will break it.
That's the easiest method I've ever seen! Thank you so much. Cheers from England xxx

You are so welcome!
Can you tell me please where do you purchase your kiss lock frames?
I got mine from Everything Mary!
When making the pattern, could you angle the bag out from the end frame to give it a different shape?
oh yes!

Hi Lyn! I got mine from Everything Mary when they were being discontinued. Did you check Amazon?

Not sure. I got these at Joanns a long time ago. They are by a brand called everything Mary.
