Hey Jordo, really great memories going with you to pick up the roadster in Kamloops. We had such a great trip back on that alternative highway. Like I mentioned before, I think this is going to be a ‘heritage’ project that Hudson will inherit some day. Can’t wait to see it in real life. Soon . . . Dad.
I am wondering if you had some still of the midnight special. I would like to see a collage of it hanging in my workshop. It would make a great gift too.
Bob the frame horns!!! You don’t need no stinking 32 tank, model A has a perfectly good tank up in the cowl! I’m looking forward to watching this come together.
Hey Jordan, I watched all the videos of the Racer and I can't wait to watch your hot rod build...Ralph...reminds me of my 34 ford pickup I had many years ago....good luck with the build....
Jordan, really following this build. Just acquired the body to my dream build, a ‘29 coupe on ‘32 rails with a Flathead. Have had the running gear and lots of parts I’ve been collecting for about 30 years. Our thoughts are very similar!
G'day Larry. As a loyal member of our channel, we would love to send you a little something to say a huge thank you for your ongoing support of our channel. If you could send your address to - info@bennettscustoms.com.au we can get that out to you ASAP. Cheers again mate.
Great news on the birth of your boy . Well done mum and dad . Now you and Ben like deadlines. Rattle trap in march. See you there in the speeder or roadster .Ray and David from vic are going 110
Wow congratulations, you will be able to pass on your amazing skills to him. Super looking forward to following along with the new build. Thanks for another great video.
How long did you say you have been collecting. So many cool parts. I have shared this with my eldest grandson. And previous builds. Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. Make sure your family come first. I see more of my grandkids, than I ever did of my own. Work life balance is not easy. Wishing you your family and friends a merry Christmas and happy new year.
Congrats on the baby and definitely cool to have a few different sets of wheels, I have a set of 15 inch smoothies and white walls on my 47 coupe and a set of 17x10/17x8 Boyd Coddington’s from the 90’s for when I want the street rod look. Looking forward to following this build you have a great vision for it 👍
@@bennettscustomsco the thing is, I have a 28 roadster rebuilt in Denmark in the late 20s into a 3-window coupe. They did that because they were cheaper and then exported to Sweden. have a little decision anxiety 🤣😂
Congratulations on the new additions to the family (baby and roadster!). Can't wait to watch this one come together! Go Bennetts Customs! Keep moving forward!
Another great vid guys. Nice hen's tooth on the hoist too. Also if you are after chesterfield style leather, try a truck wreckers and have a look inside any Kenworth cabs they have. You'll find really big panels of it used in the sleepers and hood linings.
Killer shirts. Can't wait to see more videos soon on this project guys. It's coming along nicely guys. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
Super cool can’t wait to see how this build comes out, love the T-shirt with the car on the back Traxxas RC remote control cars and trucks, they just come out with that car right there on your T-shirt 1/10 scale it looks pretty sweet here watching
Some very cool parts there, I’ll try get down to see you in the new year, looking forward to following this one. I’ll add you to my roadster build page so you can follow
Great work keep doing what you're doing you have found your passion wish I could remember all the dates and numbers seems like you have no problem with that great job
Wow. This is going to be another great build to watch evolve. Love all the parts and options you've collected. That yellow bakalite shifter is definitely going to look sharp with the green leather upholstery. Really looking forward to seeing your vision come to life. I'm as excited as perhaps you are.
Congrats on the new baby . Well done for the award on the race car. Did the friction shockers work as intended? The footage suggested it made an improvement. Boiled Linseed oil and turps to keep the patina looking good and prevent further serious rust. I like the idea of the off white motor with maybe say some orange or burgundy / port wine pinstripes strategically around the heads. This roadster is going to be cool.
Sounds great, can't see why you would have a problem, sorting it, you built the other rod, can't wait to see how it goes, like to see if you could get it road registered, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Great project, enjoy the videos, let us know when you have more stock of the Rex B. Inspired T's, tried to order but all gone. Crack into getting it done, will be awesome
You have a due date…..15,16,17 September 2023. 95th birthday of the Model A Ford , in Gulgong NSW. I’m sure Johnno Everett will insist that you be there! 😁 And congrats on the new Bub!
Looks to be a '29 body? Doors have outside handles ['28, interior only] plus Ford Canada only had firewall data plate in '28. [ 4 holes in upper right side firewall] & they do not come off easily. The rear tailamp seen is a '28 type, used into early '29. Or I could be wrong!
Really looking forward to this build. You are a top notch fabricator and designer. Suggestion...I watch 2 YT channels religiously every week that have definite days when the episode airs. Cold War Motors and Iron Trap Garage. Would a specific day each week for your episodes be a possibility? I'm a vintage truck/car geek and knowing a cool show like yours would be on the same day is something to look forward to each week to help with the daily slog of life. I'll watch either way but just knowing that after a long day of the usual work schlep, coming home and having a cool build show would be pretty awesome. Just a suggestion. Can't wait for the next drop.
Absolutely, we tried a few times to lock in every Sunday, life sometimes get in the way. But coming into the new year we will be trying to get consistent videos out each week with a set date, will keep you posted

Hey Jordan, This looks like a really fun project! I enjoyed following the Midnight Special so much! I'd suggest contacting Matt at Iron Trap Garage in Pennsylvania. Another of your followers is a fan of Matt and his team. They have a lot of knowledge of 50's hot rod building, and may have answers you're looking for.
Was hoping to see some logistics. Did you have to box it up? Did you rent a container? Just curious. Thinking of "World's Fastest Indian" and the fun Anthony Hopkins had in that movie shipping treasure. Take a picture of the rear of the car with the taillights propped up on the ground under the car to preserve the scale. Then cut them out in Photoshop and put them on their own layers and try every variation. Virtually.
I am going to enjoy this build, as I'm doing exactly the same thing. Mine is a '31 body on a pinched frame, but the engine and driveline is identical. I do have 16 inch wires but may be running 17's on the back to get more of a rake. My engine is a Mercury and I have Edelbrock heads with an Offy intake and new Rochesters. Good luck, from South Africa!
lol @ your "really exciting! really exciting" exclamation. That was for me. Thanks. Up until that point, I had counted 2 "exciting"s and 1 "extremely excited".
