Thanks bro I’m short and i always have a problem with shirt if i get them too small they’re too tight if i get them too large they’re too long it’s a struggle in life lol goodlooks for the help!!
The rotary cutter cut through both layers (front/back) of t-shirt easily? I want to cut the neckline off on some of my t-shirts😀, to make it more of a round neck and not a crew neck. I have used scissors before but end result is kind of sloppy looking. Thanks for your help.
Works great for t shirts but when I tried on a sweater, the back just starts rising up to the point you can see my back. Maybe only works for certain fabrics :/
You can just hem instead of cropping if you don’t want the raw hem. I’ve done both. Some shirts I don’t mind the rolled up look but for more premium shirts just hem from the start
I leave it as is! I actually like the raw hem look! I have also taken more premium shirts to the tailor as an option for a clean cut if that’s what you prefer. Only costs about 10-15 bucks!
Didn’t measure actually. But I think only about 1-2 inches. I always say it’s better to take off less than you may need .. then try washing and drying it then test again. Much better than cutting it way too short which I’ve also done lol
Yup! If you have a steady hand good method for sure. I’ve messed up several shirts by not cutting straight enough though😂 so this tool helps keep it straight and precise for sure
FOR GIRLS: •Turn the tshirt upside down and put it on upside down and put your bra on top of it, then pull the rest of the top up and put youe sleeves in•
It was a $10 thrifted shirt and now the proportions actually work for my body. Once the hem roles up slightly looks much better than when it’s cut raw right away

Cop the rotary cutter here!! 🤝🏿
That shit look worse 😂
@@Ontiming2023 what do you know?😂
It rolls up for sure but for it to be hidden, cut it inside out so it rolls up on the inside
Good looks!! Gotta try that next time, thanks fam
Wait? This works?
Does that work is you he scissors too

By simple cropping you can actually elevate the look of a simple shirt. Super smart!
Exactly! Especially if you’re on the shorter side can really help with the proportions!

SUPER easily cuts through front and back at the same time yes!
That’s a huge W
Thanks fam! Really a game changer. Proportions are everything 🤌🏿

Can I do it in a polo polo ralph lauren (cotton)

Ahh good point! Haven’t tried this on a sweater yet. Have stuck to tees and longsleeve shirts for now
Looks good bro
Thanks g! Proportions are everything fr
Very helpful
Glad I could help bro!!
You should hem after cropping otherwise the fabric will fray in the wash and get lint on your other stuff
You can just hem instead of cropping if you don’t want the raw hem. I’ve done both. Some shirts I don’t mind the rolled up look but for more premium shirts just hem from the start
Does it start to fray a lot when you wash it after or does it just roll up like you said
Nope! Stays rolled up!
I have a question, do you leave the cut part as is or do you still do some sewing on it? thank you!
I leave it as is! I actually like the raw hem look! I have also taken more premium shirts to the tailor as an option for a clean cut if that’s what you prefer. Only costs about 10-15 bucks!
@@natethompson254 thank you so much! 🙌
@@natethompson254will the shirt fray at the bottom because its not hemmed?
@@sampamofc5530 yeah it will so for higher quality shirts I get them hemmed but I don’t mind the rolled up look
However the T shirts lifts up from behind. That’s too odd
Yeah if you want a cleaner cut you could definitely take them to a tailor

Thank you bro!
I have an oversized sweater that i want to cut the neck thingy off of so its kinda a one shoulder, would this work? 👚✂️
Oh yes definitely! As long as you’re okay with the raw edges

😂😂 I’ve got that before lol
Bro just butchered a perfectly good oversized tee
Was $10 second hand haha! And I wear it way more now than before because it actually fits me properly
What’s the reference tee?
It’s from modern tones! Check them out on IG
Bouta run to the nearest pizza shop n steal their cutter real quick
😂😂 fr! Basically the same thing haha
How many inches did you take off
Didn’t measure actually. But I think only about 1-2 inches. I always say it’s better to take off less than you may need .. then try washing and drying it then test again. Much better than cutting it way too short which I’ve also done lol
How do you prevent the roll up
You have to hem it at a tailor. I’ve done both, and I actually like to have the raw hem role up on some tees for a different look.
Do you get loose strings often?
I just use a pair of scissors ✂️
Yup! If you have a steady hand good method for sure. I’ve messed up several shirts by not cutting straight enough though😂 so this tool helps keep it straight and precise for sure
Bro looks weird now that you cut it lol
I prefer it for my frame for sure! I find you need to wash or dry it after cutting so the cut folds up and it just looks more like a raw hem instead
@@natethompson254 yea you’ll probably have to do some sewing work
Also cut the arm a little bit
Oh word I gotta try that! Thx g
It looked better before lol
