People say you talk too fast. I can understand you perfectly, and english isn't even my mother tongue. I don't know what is wrong with you talking fast. I like it, you transfer information quicker.
PLEASE do the glass sword!!! I can only imagine how awesome that's look. It'll take a lot more resin, but it should be worth it! I'd also like to see you attempt armor as well!
I was browsing the web and ended up finding your channel. I watched your Sword making tutorial and loved it. This video was the icing on the cake i had always thought about making a Malachite weapon of sorts because they look awesome but i had no idea of how i might make them. Keep up your awesome work.
I just wanted to say thanks for making these videos. I love watching them, and you're one of the people who has inspired me to go back to school to become a prop maker.
CtrlAltPhreak And... DO THE SWORD, PLEASE! I would request the axe, but i never did like the way they looked in Skyrim. If you did a Morrowind glass axe, that would be the ultimate in awesome.
I absolutely love everything about your videos. The creativity is just awesome. I love working with my hands so these videos inspire me to start on new projects. Thank you for the great videos!
I was blown away, I sat in front of my screen with my jaw dropped for nearly all your video, and yes I wish you were my neighbour too...lol...... just awesome work
Your channel is honestly one of my favorites. It's just so sad to see that you aren't on the most popular channel list. I think part of the reason why is that your videos are square, not standard UA-cam size, so I recommend getting an amazing HD Camera. Cheers!
This made me think back to my short time in spfx school, god I miss making things and casting them, wish we would have used rubber though! I'm sure it's much lighter than the stone we had to use lol, carrying a bucket with all of my supplies, sculpt, and stone mold home was always a drag haha.
The "glass" weapons in Skyrim aren't actually made from glass, they are made from a semi-precious mineral called malachite. It would be nice if he could show us a tutorial on how to make it by polishing and carving malachite into a blade, or at least adding a pattern to the epoxy to mimic the rippling pond effect you see in malachite.
Wow your work is incredible dude. Love it. Saw your glass sword and dagger on a top ten video, best skyrim weapons made in real life. Had to subscribe to learn how to make stuff like this myself. Go to a lot of tattoo conventions and at the fancy dress parties at them my costumes are always the worst there haha.
Hi Will. I watched this vid a while back; don't know if I commented on it. It got me to thinking. Have you crafted anything from PVC? You can split common PVC pipe and use a heat gun to flatten it under a board. These flats are useful for ALL KINDS of things. You can make blades out of them or laywr them to make them thicker with PVC Cement. That would make really great handles for knives like this. You can carve it with a dremel similar to wood. The only thing to remember is not to overheat it so it burns and use eye and respiratory protection and do it maybe outside because it creates a terrible mess with dust.
Yes, please make the glass sword, definitely! The glass dagger is so cool that it's the first project of yours that I'm making. It's also the project that made me check out your website :)
I love skyrim! Its my favorite game and this is a spectacular prop dude. Just spectacular. You should make more skyrim weapons, keep up the good work :)
the glass dagger looks beautiful!!!!!!! the sword would be amazing, though I believe in Skyforge smithing and would love to see you make a glass great sword
Dude! just found your Vids on You-tube couple of days ago looking for Kite making stuff. You Rock keep up the good work I am going to make everything I can find time for. Thinking these are going to be cool decorations for my sons room!!
Haha, like you even need to ask if we want you to do the Glass Sword! Do It! I love your videos, they are always interesting, creative, and pure awesome! Now I want that glass dagger! Lol
I really love your work! You are so creative and I've learned so many great techniques from your channel. Your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow. Just wanted to say thanks for being totally awesome! Ps. Do the sword!!! :)
im a huge skyrim fan!!!!!! and also a dysfunctional veteran and man i need a way too blow off some steam sometimes i think i found a new hobby!!!! i think i wanna make swords and daggers for my son to play with. oh man never even thought of this thank you so much! btw it looks amazing good job man
THIS IS EPIC ! i've been waiting for a tutorial to the glass dagger and here it is !!! I have a little request ; Can you please do the glass sword ? Because the glass stuff in Skyrim are extremely cool :DD
Cool stuff! You should try a simiar one and find a way to incorporate some dollar store flash light and try to make the light shine all the way to the tip. Or maybe do a light saber !
I love skyrim and it might sound mean but im making some for my friends for $5.00. This is a really cool thing. Thank you for making this cause I really like it. Keep on going and make some more.
This dagger looks amazing but still does it feel amazing in your hand? I was kinda surprised that you decided to use foam to make the handle but it seems to work. I like the "heavy feeling" of a sword/dagger so isn't it too light? I'd love to see the sword tuto btw!
Also I would LOVE to see you make a glass sword!! I also have a question. Can you use some kind of clear green plastic and cut it out in the shapes like you did with the wood? I dont have the time or money to do an entire cast and mold for just one dagger.
I agree about the blade length been a little bit too short compared to the video game but I also think that it is mostly irrelevant. This is, in my opinion, the most beautiful blade you've made. Although I am kind of biased since it is one of my favorite daggers in the game. :P Also, the battleaxe would be awesome. The blade part isn't that big but the shaft would require many decorations. Thank you for your awesome videos!
I know this is a lot, but can you make a dragonbone weapon? Whichever one you want. The colloring of the handle reminded me of it and I think it'll look awesome.
This is a really great looking project. Resin casting is a lot of fun and you can make some fascinating results with it. I've got a question about the foam: I've been thinking of eventually making a large model of one of the 'Silver Hawk' fighter craft from one of the Darius family of games. I was thinking of carving it from foam and assembling it. If I wanted it to stiffer and more weather and rough handling stable would you suggest I fiber glass it like a surf board? Thanks for sharing!

Thanks to everyone that asked me to make the glass sword. I went ahead and made it.
Dude, I wish you were my neighbor.
Is it possible to make plastic replicas of key rings and other stuff with this method
Yes, it sure is.
well ill have to give it a go then
Glass Sword is best sword :3
People say you talk too fast. I can understand you perfectly, and english isn't even my mother tongue. I don't know what is wrong with you talking fast. I like it, you transfer information quicker.
Watch it at 2x speed and have your frontal cortex explode
You also leveled up your alchemy by mixing those magical potions to craft refined moonstone.
+Deadscrin Great comment!
epicfantasy smithing increased to level 100
PLEASE do the glass sword!!! I can only imagine how awesome that's look. It'll take a lot more resin, but it should be worth it! I'd also like to see you attempt armor as well!

awwe I love how the blade is transparent. most people making glass armor or weapons just paint it a bluish color. very well done I just might try it.
Great comment. Thanks. Be sure to send me a pic if you make this!

This channel is amazing. If you cold make more skyrim based weapons like dwarven or eleven swords and daggers that would be amazing!
Cool stuff! You should try a simiar one and find a way to incorporate some dollar store flash light and try to make the light shine all the way to the tip. Or maybe do a light saber !

Thank you for your awesome videos!
Wow, that's awesome. When you were removing the flashing, it seemed really bendy, how flexible is the finished dagger?
The sword would be great. And you should try bronze or aluminium casting with wax, plaster and melt the metal in your forge.
I really need that. I play skyrim and it's super fun
I know this is a lot, but can you make a dragonbone weapon? Whichever one you want. The colloring of the handle reminded me of it and I think it'll look awesome.

A glass sword would be a amazing project to see.It has a vote from me.
