I found title fight in mid 2012, I feel like as i've matured and grown, theyve done the same along with me. they made the whole process a lot easier. They're everything I want to be talent wise. This band held a very important key to saving my life. So i feel you completely. I love title fight and regardless of what everyone else says. I feel like they deserve the fame the glory and the opportunity to continue to make music. For fans like you and me. *****

Isn't it great to have bands you can come back to and listen to their discography and wax nostalgic about memories you have to certain albums. I think art is intrinsically tied to nostalgia.

I don't normally like this kind of music but Title Fight makes me love it
So far Hyperview blows anything Title Fight has done out of the water. Perfect evolution as a band. Don't understand the people that didn't see this coming/don't like it.
a mixdown is a work of art just as much as any other element of music. there's a lot of room to navigate before you really end up doing something technically incorrect, especially with this type of music. if you just don't personally dig the sound, i get that...but to read people's comments on here that are stating specific issues with the mixdown technique as fact is unsettling to me. choose your words wisely, you wouldn't want to inadvertently upset anyone involved in the production process. i personally love this mixdown, i feel it pairs very well with the vibe of the song.

This is so good and the more I listen the better it gets. I love the guitar tone. The growth this band has made since the last thing you forget is ridiculous and I love how no two albums sound the same. To the kids complaining, do you really think when he "yells" in this song live, it's gonna sound any different than 27 or shed? I don't.. I also think the kids complaining are the ones who think title fight is tumblr pop punk and don't quite TRULY get title fight. When I think Title Fight, I think Cold World and Blacklisted and Gorilla Biscuits. Bands that pushed and continue to push the envelope. I cannot wait until hyperview. The people who understand Title Fight will always love Title Fight.
Floral Green was your best album. This song was your Magnus Opus in my opinion. Nothing has sounded like it since I first heard it, nothing can compare. This one is forever.

+PhokenKuul Sorry dude, but I never of this band before three minutes and 34 seconds ago, and if I didn't know, I'd say this came out in 1992. It's Ride, Chapterhouse, Lush, Curve, My Bloody Valentine - it's shoegazing.
It's in evolution for title fight every band goes through changes and all bands music eventually changes so I've got appreciate it and have some respect for their musical decisions but I do miss old title fight I'm kind of bummed because spring songs is my favorite released by them I was hoping that the new LP would sound more like that but I still kind a like this stuff it's gonna take some getting used to I wish the vocals were more raw but I cant always have my way I really do respect their musical decisions and I'm really still so fucking pumped for this record

I completely agree with you. I'm all for evolution. But I loved Floral Green so much, then Spring Songs dropped and every time I listened to Blush I wanted to destroy everything (in a good way), so naturally I was really excited to hear more of that on the next LP. I guess I hyped it up too much so I wasn't prepared for the transition, and I wasn't really expecting it. I do like this song and Chlorine but I'll admit, I'll be a bit bummed if there aren't any songs that are more aggressive on this album because TF does that so well. I love raw vocals and I miss being able to understand every word they're singing. Overall, this is a really talented band and they're consistently good so I'm not too worried about it! Favorite band for a reason!

Mike Litoris Didn't like them and wasn't the sound I was hoping for, thanks anyway. VashD15 I've tried and to no avail have I found any with resemblance to this. The rest of the album isn't even as good as this song so hopefully their next lp utilizes this sound more.

I've commented this a few times on other people's comments, but this is not shoegaze. This and a lot of their more recent music have taken influence from shoegaze as well as other genres like emo and post-punk. They have their own sound which is a composite of those influences as well as their own aggressive, upbeat style which is more derived from their pop-punk and hardcore influences. You're doing a disservice both to shoegaze and Title Fight by arbitrarily labeling them that way.
TL;DR It's not shoegaze. It's Title Fight.
It has a lot of early 90s post hardcore sound to me. And a good bit of 80s influences. Like the some of the wipers songs from the 80s sound a lot like this. The smiths of course, and you know bands in the 90s like unwound, like listen to the album new plastic ideas. But you're right it isn't shoegaze. People think everything that has a bit of reverb is shoegaze. I do think takes those type of infuences and adds a bit of dream pop/ indie pop/ jangle pop/ and shoegaze edge on top of it though, but it's not as much as people are saying.
Just discovered these fellas; Not sure if this is suppose to happen, but I really like how the vocals are quite lower than the music.

still sounds like title fight, the chord progressions and drum beats, the tempos, everything honestly even the singing note patterns. its just a matured sound. they havent put out anything "pop punk" since shed and that was 4 years ago. even then they werent that pop punk sounding. for the record its not shoegaze either.

I know some people are not going to like the fact that this sounds totally different to Floral Green or anything else that came before but to be honest its hard to listen to Floral Green from start to finish and not notice at least a little bit of repetitiveness in all the songs (even though it was and still is one of my favorite albums) Title Fight have really been needing a change, and this definitely isn't a bad one.
This argument about their sound are just like the crybaby Brand New fans when Daisy came out because it didn’t sound like Déjà or Your Favourite Weapon. Bands change their sound over the years, get over it. Would Title Fight still be where they're at if they wrote songs like they did when they were 13? Most likely not.

Shoegaze is cool and all, and the two tracks released sound great, but I don't listen to Title Fight for that type of sound. I'm slightly disappointed with the tracks from Hyperview released so far (not because of how the songs sound, the songs sound great) I'm still waiting for the more aggressive, cleaner tracks.
