The bang on the table is back! Let’s go!!!
Let’s go!!
This helped a lot. It also shows why its sometimes important not to under explain things. I've heard the words "think down when singing high" many times but never got something out of it. I think ppl learning singing fresh without another physical background might naturally understand that it's a throat thing, but as someone who previously took several different physical arts, i always translated it wrongly to a ribcage or diaphram action, or even focusing on a low point in my body while expecting something to esoterically fall into place. Thanks for the C shape at the back of the throat thing
Your clips made me happily cry out.🥲
Hoping I can show you some great performance very soon.
Love you Tyler.🤍
That second tip of visualising the shape seems to help strangely
Right?!
Love it, I've already followed your courses and I'm really happy, as you say in the video, its daily stuff for months that gives the results. I suspect a lot of people don't put the time in, and then don't get the results. I love imagining the C, whilst the sound does go that way, I find the C gives a brain a distraction which allows you to go higher and get's you out of the habit of locking down, as typically our brains don't like doing two things at once.
I’m honored that you have gone through my courses. Keep up the great work!
Yes it’s definitely a daily practice for some time before things really start clicking.
I totally agree that this gesture of the C is most likely giving us a useful distraction to get out of our own way.
You're really an angel bruh👍👍
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Your videos are really helpful. Well if you can, please make a video on singing vowels like 'e' or 'oo' because I can take my voice pretty high on an 'aa' or 'ay' but when I transition to ee, it either feels constricted in my throat or I break bery badly into head voice. And when I say this, I mean singing a phrase consisting of those vowels, not necessarily belting. Like the high part in Zayn Malik's ' Let Me' song.
Thx for the philosophy Tyler
🙏🏻
Yeah ,so frustrating, but thanks for the advice #never giving up
Love the video. Working through that break area has always been tricky. I seem to be able to negotiate it well enough when the volume is high (probably because of the added pressure) but the lighter voice stuff has always been hard in this area. Looking forward to trying these tips out
Good stuff...
Thank you!
Thanks so much for this. I'm singing Oh Holy Night this Christmas so this will be a great help for the highest notes. I have a lower raspy weighty sounding voice so I'm going to give these excercises a try.
Amazing!! I hope the song goes well! I’m sure you will rock it.
man, learning mix voice is so fxxking hard, such a frustrating journey!hope I can get better soon!
Great tip 👌 thanks
