Today I'll be analyzing Dark Sci-Facility and Beneath the Ruins. The 2 maps are going to compete each other by looking at their butons' difficulty, the obstacles and their pacing.

Beneath The Ruins is harder than Dark Sci Facility imo

Clearly, the most difficult map is the Dark Sci-Facility, which is why I have survived Beneath the Ruins several times, and sometimes even alone. In the case of the Dark Sci-Facility, I survived only a few times, and that was with other players, imagine if I tried alone.
playing sci facility alone is asier than with other player. Plus group button making this map even harder

I personally believe Dark Sci is harder. While both intended routes are extremely difficult, BTR has tons of skips that are somewhat easy to pull off (specifically in the room before the tunnel room). Dark Sci has skips too, but they’re all incredibly hard and risky to pull off and you’re almost always better off taking the intended path. Along with Dark Sci being more fast-paced and generally leaving no margin for error, I say it’s harder than BTR.

I personally see them as being equally as hard. The main difficulty in Dark-Sci is the speed, whereas in BTR it is in mostly in the jumps. Just my personal opinion though.

Dark Sci Because I Can Make More Progess at beneath the ruins
DSF is harder (for me bc i practiced it alot on map test) then BTR bc you can shortcut alot in BTR. there is a shortcut that you can skip alot of obstacles. in DSF there is only 1 shortcut (8:52) but if u do the map solo u cant do that shortcut (u can do it but u wail fail the map :D).

In my opinion, it's DSFacility.
in DSFacility, you need to rush it. There is no time to waste. One simple mistake can kill you on the last part.
In BTR, it allows you to have time and the buttons aren't that hard to get
DSFacility explains this by having the second button exist.
BTR's last part is hard, but the only hard parts are the jumps.
Dark Sci-Facility's last part has a couple of tricky trusses.
BTR is not tricky at all.. I failed on the jumps at first but they became easier.
DSFacility in general is pretty hard if you are doing it solo (I have a video of it)
BTR is generally not that bad solo.

My opinion - BTR has difficult jumps throughout the entire map and you need to know the entirety of the long map if you even want a chance to beat it. While lava rises slowly, the rooms are very large and can be overwhelming to people who don't know the map well. On the other hand, DSF's pacing is insanely fast and has difficult jumps and buttons that make the map super difficult overall. I've soloed both maps and I think I can say that DSF is harder.
I would say DSF-Y is less hard than BTR because all though its pretty fast paced with the second button being pretty hard to survive after pressing it and the 2 hard jumps at the beginning, the dark sci room where everything start to blink is pretty easy making only one part of the map being hard and the other part not while for BTR every area is hard and needs a lot of memorization with the 2 hard jumps at the end while the last hard jump in DSF-Y is less harder than the first hard jump.
Dark sci facility is harder right now, I'm level 23 and still i have never berate it but when I was at level 17 I died at the last jump of beneath the ruins after that I broke my headphones lol

This might be a shocker to you guys, but I think Beneath The Ruins is harder. I've beaten Dark-Sci 5 or 6 times while I have only beaten BTR once... The annoying parts for me are the 2 crates before you tackle the last jump of the map.
I feel like Dark Sci is much more harder and requires a lot more skill. You have to time your jumps multiple times with lava that rises in just a few seconds under you, it’ll rush you. I’m pretty sure that the lava continues to rise while you’re pressing the second button which is one of the reasons people don’t press the button very often, because they’ll have a risk of dying if they’re not fast enough. The same with beneath the ruins. Lava will rise in the matter of seconds if someone trying to press the button dies, or nobody goes. Dark Sci has many shortcuts that can advantage you by saving your life. Beneath the ruins has a big shortcut for the third button. I beat beneath the ruins all the time, but Dark Sci is what I’ve never beaten which is why it’s a lot harder in my opinion.

Well personally.I think Dark-sci Facility is actually harder then Beneath the Ruins.Because in Dark-sci,the freaking shaking always messes me up so I never complete the map...Ok back to the point.And I think the jump at the start after the first buttons is just horrible!Like I tried 10 times and guess WHAT?!I did 0 time!And the music is very catchy so it makes me very nervous AND at the last part the area is just HUGE!I just couldn’t see where to go!So I think Dark-sci is actually a tiny harder and the wall jumps at the start?!One miss and your just DEAD MEAT Baby!I think Beneath the Ruins at least didn’t have quick raising lava and shaking non-stop like Dark-sci so yeah...
Ive got an hack! I think.... it worked for me! Okay so I kinda walked to the edge stoped and then jumped! And after that stay...CALM....if ur very proud of ur self u can do that later and if ur like "OMG!!!" Dont cuz then right after that side jump its probably gonna knock u off just saying

Beneath: A map that has pretty hard jumps once you do the map it can be very frustrating to others completing it! And Try very hard like I did and you'll beat it! :D Dark Sci: This has 2 wall jumps and some hard jumps Tip (Don't Slow Down Or Else your dead!) Anyways, just follow other people how they do it and you can beat both of the maps!

Well they were both hard for me but, I think dark is harder because I beat beneath the ruins first and its also my favorite map 'cause the music. But to be honest, They're both REALLY Hard it took me ages. If I beat dark before beneath the ruins, I would probably say beneath the ruins is harder but again, They're both really hard. Crazyblox Really put some effort in both maps and they're Awesome!

DSF has the least amount of shorts and the least severe shortcuts while BTR has the most severe shortcuts which causes the WR to be less than 1 minutes and done on IOS in Multiplayer

For some odd reason, I beat Dark Sci-Facility way more than Beneath the Ruins, since that jump in the 4th room always kill (the room with the 6th button).

Dark sci facility is definitely harder and beneath the ruins is also quite easy especially once you get past the first few rooms, however I tend to die a lot on the last jump because I misjudged the distance and end up spending the rest of my day raging into a pillow.
I'd say Dark Sci is harder if you're in a regular server but if you are doing Beneath The Ruins alone, it's hard because the map is spaced out a lot and the 3rd button to it, you push it and THEN you have to parkour over to the other side, making it hard for they player because they can't make any mistakes, though both have to be flawless

No. You just have more muscle memory with Dark Sci because its way older. BTR is a few months old. Dark Sci has way faster pasting, harder jumps, etc.

Insane levels can be really hard but it depends on who’s playing with you in the servers. If people make an effort and press the buttons, they will be a bit easier. If they don’t bother pressing any buttons, it will be way harder and you will find yourself and the whole server dying pretty quickly.

Well, I’ve beaten all the maps but, Dark Sci Vs. Beneath The Ruins, in my opinion, prob Beneath the ruins bc of the last jump to get the base, u could just bump your head easily when jumping to base.

Heres my personal ranking
1. Dark sci-Facility (Second button, especially on lazy server, hard timings and jumps and lava is always 2 cm under your feet)
2. Beneath the Ruins (Really long and difficult, through memorizing all the parts. Almost no shorcuts on this map)
3. Satomi Springs (Like in sinking ship, flood rises incredibly fast, but there is lava. Also map is dark and buttons are hard to remember)
4. Sinking Ship (First button and incredibly fast rising acid)
5. Lost Desert (a lot of tide jumps, that falling on ones almost always ends in death)
6. Abandoned Facility (After buffs on 2022 update)
7. Magmatic Mines (Hard to remember shortcuts and difficult on solo)
8. Fallen (It’s still easy. And will be easy. You must still run, and nothing bad will happen)
9. Familiar Ruins (First sections with acid and hard butons when solo)
10. Gloomy Manor (Difficult only on solo mode)

I’d say btr is harder dark-sci really only has one hard jump.Where btr has buttons hard to get and also verity of hard jumps.Basically all dark-sci is is pacing and the lava isn’t even that fast. Also in btr the sections are riskier with the jumps. Dark-sci they just focused on the lava I feel like. So in my opinion I think btr is harder
I think DSF is a LOT harder I did Beneath the Ruins in 3 Hours of practice without that much rage and have mastered it a bit but DSF? Its just hell rage inducing espeically that wedge jump before the 3rd button I’ve beaten it before in solo but I’d say its a lot harder because of the obby and Super fast pacing

I think it’s obviously dark sci facility, because I beat btr before i even got to the sci area in dsf, so I thought it was pretty obvious which one was harder.
i think BTR will be harder cuz theres some jump or i the third room a lot of pepole miss it and in DSF i think a jump they can miss is the 2 room th 1 room and in the facilty when you have to jump down i the middle of the facilty thats all :3
Dark sci facility is hard because there is few ways to survive the Beneath the Ruins. Dark Sci Facility's first part is sooo difficult if you late for two seconds.

i litearly beat every map and i have beat when i was level 24 so i think both maps are hard because people dont click the buttons because they are lazy so barley people beat the maps :)
I think beneath the ruins is harder, I’ve gotten past both wedges in dark sci but never got the the 2nd room in beneath the ruins
