As someone who has played for 6-7 years and 2 of my account levels combined add up to lvl 80-90, can confirm I have not beat Castle Tides due to its difficulty.
Personal opinion: Blue Moon: wall jump button, consistent high box jumps PC: personally PC overall is a pretty easy map, if I really had to pick a part it would to be button 4 and 5, the moment of truth to see if u went fast enough SSH: first tower? Some hard-to see platforming In there traversing through inside and outside Ignis peaks: oh definitely the high wall jump towards the end SSR: that far truss jump after the second swimming section DS: the far jump after second tower, and some rigged trusses… AVM: long jump after tower, and the entire last section, everything there has to me optimized and executed near perfection ( I don’t find the tower too hard since I’m more of a fast pace map person) RJ: the whole map LOL it’s just long jump spam all the way through, hardest would be that first truss jump and the wall jump truss transition
My Crazy difficulty theory: The reason why the end of every single Crazy feels so much easier than the rest of the map is due to it being a test. A test to see if you’ve been using your time wisely. With these crazies being the hardest, they also give you little time to react. Every single Crazy has a time consuming part, even if they’re barely noticeable. Take the last button in Active Volcano Mines for example. All you do is jump up and touch it. It’s possibly the easiest button in the map by itself, but the insanely fast lava decides if you can make it or not. This is also saying that you are doing a solo run (meaning no getting carried). The button is simple, but it strays away from the actual path to the point where if you weren’t fast enough at the tower, you will die. In fact. Every Crazy map has a button at the very end which strays away from the actual path which then decides if you were fast enough or not. Most community maps would go out of their way to make the end the hardest part, but the actual maps leave you with a lot of leeway in difficulty to then crush your hopes and dreams with the lava for being a millisecond too slow. Which is why shortcuts are extremely popular in harder Crazies like Decaying Silo and Active Volcano Mines. Just my thought tho :p
I cannot believe that you are still doing FE2 content. Back when I played FE2 2017-2019 I loved watching you. Seeing how you still are around just throws me back to that time. One tip for AVM's tower is if u zoom out ur camera, you can see where to go easier, and you can make use of the A and D keys to avoid sharp camera movements. Personally I don't think the jumps are that hard, so knowing where to go via zooming out is helpful
If it wasn’t for the first part of rustic jungle it would actually be a fun map to play. The difficulty of the first few jumps made me give up on the map almost immediately
The tower part in Active Volcanic Mines is the reason why I couldn’t beat it until August 13th, 2023. Keep in mind that AVM was added in either March or April.
0:02 I dont wanna look like a nerd, but crazy difficulty first introduced in fe2cm around february 2019, but no one believed what it is actual difficulty, it was considered as a meme. Yes true, somewhere in the summer main game had crazy difficulty, but first it was in fe2cm.
for rustic jungle (i have beaten it) the hardest jump is at the start the second longjump from a corner to the truss its definitely harder then other long jumps
I feel like I wanna complain about the sandswept ruins hardest part, because imo the start is probably the most painful to learn, as the lava roses so fast if you mess up one jump, also noting that the jumps are swamped with long jumps.
I like how blue moons hardest part is the wall jumps yet the wall jumps in PC which are much harder and actually required to beat the level are never even mentioned
@@Liamgaming5 you kind of uhhh, you know, DON'T wanna scale upwards on the wall jumps (you actually can slightly scale PC's wall jumps too) so your point is invalid
Blue Moon: Tower Part The first half of the tower is really dangerous and I've died there many times Decaying Silo: Second tower Not until the end zone, just the second tower. the map tricks your brain into thinking you're in time but the second tower screws you apart, because the jumps at 3:40 don't make you any higher away from the lava Which means Decaying Silo's pacing is inconsistent. Ignis Peaks: Volcano thingy After the second button you climb up some volcano ahh part and that section isn't that hard, but it just has the most chokepoints.
