Fun fact: The reason why Sonic can’t swim is because the original creator(s) of Sonic the Hedgehog thought hedgehogs couldn’t swim but learned otherwise after visiting a shelter. Inevitability though, he decided to keep the lack of swimming anyways so as to give the character a weakness. (Love the video btw, absolutely adorable how panicked Sonic was!)
Good for Sonic he finally decided to conquer his fear and learn to swim I'm proud of him.The part where Amy fell in and Sonic saved her I kinda had a feeling it was a "setup" but it was still sweet of him to save her.That was VERY sneaky of Silver though I'm glad Sonic pushed him in the pool he deserved it

The real Sonic wouldn’t have agreed to this and would’ve mostly likely just zoomed out of there without saying anything else right when he hears about the pool. Not for chili dogs, not for Amy, not for anything. Also from what I’ve seen in the Sonic games, Sonic instantly sinks like a rock right when he touches the water. Despite the logic of being able to float when laying on your back, it doesn’t seem like it would work for Sonic since he sinks like a rock (ㆀ˘･з･˘) also I’m pretty sure Sonic is afraid of deep bodies of water in general, not cause he can’t swim but cause of the fear of drowning in general and what’s in the water, so I feel like he’s still going to be afraid of swimming even if he CAN swim. Labyrinth zone probably made his fear worse too ಥ ͜ʖ ಥ Great video anyway! Big fan btw!

We kind of got rid of the whole "Blaze doesn't like water" thing because the only reason we gave her that was because she is a cat and cats usually don't like water but it wasn't a good reason so we sort of got rid of that whole thing. Not to mention in the Olympic games she swims and while Sonic swims in the game as well, he has a life jacket on so it's a bit different.
