Welcome to the wonderful world of Makita 🙂
It's about time ❤️😁
Scott Brown here!
Luv watch u to Scott ...nice work u do also
I bought the 10" 40v saw after seeing it on Scott's channel.. no regrets.. (except maybe wishing it was a 12") - cuts so nice! Mine wasn't quite square out of the box though - did have to dial it in.
Once I saw the makita tool, I knew to expect a comment from Scott brown 👌🏼🔥
I've been here since your DFW days. I bet I watched your original video on wainscot and crown moulding 10 times. Listened to EXACTLY what you said.....went out bought my first Dewalt Cordless Dual Miter Saw and Table Saw exactly like your set up and went to work. It took me a few months, but i install crown in my entire house and finished the project with walls of wainscot throughout. You were a great teacher and gave me the confidence to take it all on! Never underestimate a girl and her power tools!
You go girl!
You're your best contractor..😎👍
Carla 👏👏👏👏👏
Amen, Carla-me, too! I’ve learned so much from him!
this saw doesn't have an attachment to plug in to the wall. Dewalt does🙄
As a mechanic since 2004 I highly recommend makita impact drivers and rest of makitas tool lineup.
Makita honestly hasn't steered me wrong
I’ve absolutely been watching you since you were DFW crown. Your videos are amazing and so thorough!! Watched your 63 degree cutting by starting off with using two 45 cut boards. 😳😳this construction woman in North Pole AK…is getting so many tips and tricks from you!! Thank you for taking time to teach us so many tricks!!! 🥰
I was here in the beginning of dfw crown. I found it cool when you were showing the router and bits when you where making crown and wainscoting. I can’t wait for you to organize and start making in the new garage/workshop.
Watching the dfw crown channel is how i learned to do crown as a teenager. Glad hes still making awesome helpful content
We started with the Makita track saw (after being heavily influenced by Scott Brown) and we’re now Makita mad (in a good way). Great choice. 👍🏽
If my Festool ever packs up, that's the way to go for me.
After watching a lot of these tool comparison vids I’m def saving for a Mikita track saw.
Bought a Makita corded 1/2” chuck drill with percussion feature in 1979. Started my carpentry/building business in 1980. The drill has been through hell and the switch is original. Never a problem. 42 years of service and counting. Congrats on new home and your channel. You ROCK. Dave Heitman in Omaha dba Dave the Carpenter
I have the corded version and I love it; I'll bring it with me on larger trim installations even though it is quite heavy. I mostly use it for building pre hung doors.
I have the same saw. I would recommend getting the larger 6.0 batteries 4 of ‘‘em would keep you rocking all day long. You can also adjust the which side of the saw blade the laser falls on with the little dial on the top front of guard. It unscrews and can be pushed to left or right and retightened.
The 6.0 batteries aren't cheap but they last forever.
The 6 amp ones wear out quicker than the 5 amp ones though. The 5s are rock solid.
this saw doesn't have an attachment to plug in to the wall. Dewalt does🙄
Been watching since way back when you were using the miter saw without the blade guard.
Fun to watch you grow and learned alot of good tips.
It’s a natural high. So happy to see some one express what we feel when we are fully satisfied with are miter saw. You knocked it out of the park. Thank you
"our miter saw".
I have been here since you were DFW crown, and I still watch and I think you guys are just awesome.
I've been using a Makita cordless 10" miter for years now and I like it. I bought it for the front mounted bevel and the position of the rails.
I know you'll create fantastic woodwork in your shop!
I have an older version of the Makita miter saw, love it. It has been used and abused, still works great. The Makita charger runs air through the battery while charging, which allows them to charge faster.
It is also to maintain the health of the battery for a fast charging environment... that is the main reason they blow air through the battery... Heat hurts batteries, which is why Milwaukee has a lot of issues with their system under heavier load applications being limited to 18V
His smile when he first turns it on, a happy man right there
A few POTENTIAL ISSUES on this saw:
1. Might not cut straight - This is a weird one on these saws. The head doesn't always travel parallel to the two slide bars. You end up with a shallow C-shaped cut. The "fix" is to unscrew the (tight) allen head bolts at the front end cap of the rail, put a board between the rails and twist slightly, re-tighten the screws, cut a new piece and repeat until it cus straight on a slide.
2. The aluminum miter plate notches wear quickly - You can't do much about this to prevent it but be careful when turning past the notches. Stene wooodwork does make a stainless replacement, but I think it is close to $100. I believe replacement plates from Makita are much less.
3. Dust Collection increases depth requirement - May need a bot mroe depth with dust collection in place...and in a home shop, dust collection can be a lot more desirable.
4. Need to remove fences to bevel - Not a defect, but perhaps annoying.
5. Laser not as great as shadow line
As others have noted, Makita introduced its 40 volt XGT platform this year. They have an 8 1/2" and 10" model out and I suspect the 12" is on its way. Honestly, there aren't a lot of differences on the 10" (other than the battery) which is essentially the same as this 12" but smaller, but they do appear to have addressed the aluminum miter plate issue and have converted to a shadow line instead of laser. Of course, the XGT platform is also commanding a hefty price premium!
good info here, I found this with mine, I got the stainless indent plate from Stene woodwork too.
Well said.
Been waiting for you try a Makita tool for about two years now!! Glad to see it finally happen and that you’re so happy with it!!
I was there! I’ve been a student for a long time. And I’m excited to see another side of your woodworking skills :-)
Makita makes a seriously good cordless miter saw. Can’t wait to hear what you think in 6 months. Grats on the new home!
...except for that Bluetooth (un)connection that he's going to have to screw around with all the time...
👍🏻🍻🍺👍🏻
Man i had the same first impressions when I first set up my corded version of this saw. Sadly it went badly down hill quick from there. I took it to my makita repair center and they said they were well aware of the major issues with these models but couldn't do anything. They just suggested I wait for a revised model to come out and buy that. Not even a refund. But im told the battery models and 10" models are problem free.
@@FreeLander5280 Hmmm. Mine has been getting used heavily almost daily for almost a year and with no issues. What was wrong with yours?
The winning point must be the orientation of the slider bars: pointing forwards, which allows the saw to be placed close to a back wall! And the portability of course!
Chargers: Milwaukee only charges one battery at a time even though it has room for two! If the Makita can charge both batteries simultaneously that's another winning point!
I got my 10" Makita cordless Miter saw last year and I can share the same sentiment as it's my all time favorite tool purchase. No other tool brings me such a pleasant feeling of confidence and reward when I rip through just about all types of species of wood. Congrats on the purchase bud!
Welcome to team teal. I have the 10'' version and I love mine. Been using Makita tools for over 20 years and I have had very few issues. Im on the backside of my working days and Makita has made my life easier and more productive. I agree that the saw is heavy. As far as power and consistency goes, its worth the trade off.
Congrats on the new house and setting up your shop.
Been watching since the DFW days. I really like your content, I have the 10"model and absolutely love it! Keep up the good work brother!
Wow this video is super exciting, it’s literally like watching excited kids open presents on Christmas morning! Congratulations, and I hope that saw makes you a dump truck full of money!
I hate to be that guy, but I told yous! 🤣🤣

Hi Richard. I’ve been watching since the DFW days. Still love the content. I’m a FESTOOL guy myself but best of luck with the mitre saw and welcome to the land of cabinet making.
Mark from Dublin
I've got two of the Hitachi model C8FB2 miter saw's. I also have two others. Mine are all early 1990 models. Every finish carpenter had a Hatachi saw. Either the big 16' or the C8FB2. I love mine and am supper glad I got this saw over any other on the market. Mine I think cost $225.00. I burnt one out and now have two. The cool thing is that the job I was on where the motor finally died, the owner bought me another one to replace it. That was so cool of him! That was the first of three tips/ gifts that I've ever received form a costumer. Yes, these saws are on the inexpensive side but way better than any other at the same time.
Here since the start Richard. Congratulations on the house. Makita would do well to send you their entire range of tools. Amazing advertisement. Keep up the good work.
He's a talent they just might do that God bless.
This is the same feeling as showing my friends a badass new metal song and they start head banging uncontrollably.
I got my Makita 10” Miter Saw last December, (came with two 5.0Ah batteries, plus HD was giving another pair of 5.0Ah batteries for free, with the XSL06PT kit), and I see now that it’s selling for $780, with just one set of batteries! I paid $599 last Christmas for my Makita, and I love it! I even bought a zero-clearance plate for it, too! Congrats, bro! You’re moving on up!
I’ve been here since the channel was called DFW and I’m staying here with great pleasure. Thank you for your skill and for sharing with us!
The “I got nothing.” at the end reminded me of Garand Thumb at his closing of videos.
If you ever bought a saw, go ahead and hit that like and subscribe button.
I own this saw and the only downside I’ve found has been the removable fences. Having to unscrew the fence and move it to the side anytime you do a mitre drives me up the wall. If only they’d put the sliding fence of the new makita drop saws on this one. I will say this saw stays very accurate with transportation. I haven’t been gentle on it and it has stayed true with going from job site to job site. Enjoy mate 👍
First off your not taking the fences off for a miter cut .. you’ll take them off for a bevel cut
Oh ya, I definitely remember the DFW days! Come a long way and I’ve learn and incorporated a ton of stuff into my own workflow from early on. Thanks Richard!
Been a sub for a long while and it's a joy to see your success!!!
Just bought the Makita cordless track saw, it’s amazing!!
I knew it!! Welcome to the Makita fam!! I love my XSL06PT. My only complaint is that Makita doesn't make a good crown stop, at least for my model. 🤷🏻♂️
Does any saw manufacturer make a decent crown stop? I thought the good ones were either custom or aftermarket
Make your own for superior cuts.
Yes sir. I started watching your videos when you were down crown. Followed along with many of your installs and tips. Learned a lot. Even the simple Home Depot pencil pack with drill based sharpener.
I was here from when you were dfw crown. Been enjoying the content ever since. Looking forward to your follow up review on this beast. 🤙🏽
Mikita have been making great tools for years. It seems they have taken a leap ahead recently. Their drills & multi-tools are quite simply superb. I’ve got them. Hilti are still my favourite though, but expensive.
I remember those dfw no blade guard days for sure. You came a long ways bro great video congrats on all your success and I hope you have even more moving forward.
People always ask me why i chose makita. I guess its just because my dad had nothing but Makita. But i have never been let down. love Milwaukee too.
I wouldn’t buy DW any more. I have a DW drill/driver that is perhaps 15 years old- it’s brilliant. Have had to buy new batteries but, otherwise, the best drill/driver I’ve got. Then, it seems to me, that BD took them over and degraded the brand. I bought. DW mitre saw - can’t remember the model but it was the biggest they did; kept it a year and sold it on. Maintaining accuracy on it meant constant adjustment.
The only reason to stick with one brand would be maintain battery compatibility. Otherwise, I don’t think one brand produces the best tool in every category.
Shes a DIVA and her name is MAKITA😍
I actually love the 80’s/90’s look of their tools, thats what got me interested in KITA tools in the first place 😛
A mechanical relay-activated outlet attachment that starts your vacuum when you start your saw, like the ones we've been using for years, is bulletproof, and never fails. You WILL be effin' around with that Bluetooth vacuum connection --> All... THE... TIME... You've been warned.
Wise words
How do you make it work with a cordless saw?
Been here from the start! I run Makita and so glad you’re part of the team now. I actually brought a Dewalt portable table saw because of you mate.
Hahaha great video. This saw is my permanent shop saw, accept for I have the corded 12”. I love everything about. My only complaint I guess would be the fences have to be removed for when I need to do to a bevel cut but other than that it’s completely worth it. Feels much more sturdy then a festool. You will love it Richard.
Nice saw! I was just looking at replacing my dewalt with this saw! Check out makitas cordless biscuit joiner and there track saw! Both are top notch! I’d buy a few dewakita shirts for sure!
Damn, the XGT version of this saw is right around the corner. Either way, it's the best on the market right now.
ah, i was wondering why he went with 36v. i thought the 40v was out, maybe just not in the states yet. makita tends to launch in america about a year behind other places
I have the 10" version of this saw but wish I waited for the XGT 8 inch one. But it's a great saw anyway, just a beast to carry around. And I don't care for the laser.
@@nicksgarage2 I also prefer the shadow over the laser. I've been thinking about buying led strips and sticking them up in the blade guard...
@@Anglo-EgyptianMan been thinking the same, let us know if you end up doing so.
i think the new Bosch Biturbo 12 inch miter saw, will give this a run for its money.
Glad you finally opened up to more options. I got the corded model about 2 years ago just for the same reason. My space is limited and the other option was to pay $1,700+ for the Festool. I have been very satisfied with my Makita. I still own the big DeWalt, but limited space forced me to opt for the Makita. One other thing you will like about Makita is dust collection. very much better than the DeWalt, I only use the DeWalt outside.
In 1984 I purchased a 6” Makita table saw. Bought it because back then it was all I could afford. I have used it to build bookcases, shelving, remodeled a house, built a house, built furniture. Still using it today. Rip fence was true out of the box and has not needed adjustment in 33 years. Miter gauge cuts exact 90 and 45 degree cuts accurately. I’ve been tempted many times to ditch it for a new 10” saw, but can’t seem to let it go. Been a great tool. Maybe my son will dump it when I’m gone… or maybe not?
I've had that saw for 3 or 4 years now. Love it just wish the detent plate wasn't aluminum. Oh yeah, keep using the blades it came with! Much better battery life with them
@@lorenrickey5481 Stenewoodwork. I have one & love it.
@@rickfrey6944 +1
There was a guy selling a titanium upgrade a few years ago when I got my 10”, unfortunately I don’t have the website bookmarked to share anymore. I agree, those Makita blades pair nicely with their cordless tools and last for a lot of cuts if you listen to the saw and let the blade do the work.
@@travisboles2646 the manufacturer is above, It is stainless, not titanium.
@@kizzjd9578 where can you get them from? Do you have a link please?
Been using the 10” model for almost a year now, best saw I’ve owned…dust collection is better than most from my experience…
I started following back when it was still DFW Crown. Excited to watch you build out the home shop now. Should be fun.
Hope it severs you well. Will be really interested to see updates as you add to the shop. God bless.
After using the corded version. I’d say it’s one of the best ones I’ve used. The only thing I don’t like is the laser on it and the tightening of the base.
Love me some Makita! Best cordless worm drive hands down. Wonderfully balanced cordless drills and impact drivers. Long battery life. Bout time you got on board buddy.
I just joined the makita family and spent a couple thousand on the 18v tools. happy customer right here. beautiful saw you got!
I got my Makita for 100 bucks from Home Depot. They were getting rid of this particular model, they had them for 1/2 price at $299. I bought the display, we couldn’t figure out how to get the anti theft covers off the batteries. One of the tool department employees said they couldn’t sell it that way and he was gonna throw it away. I said I’ll get rid of it $100. I love the Convenience of this saw. Super fast battery charge. My trim carpenters love this saw. It’s very precise. Although it is a monster to lug at 75 pounds. It takes a little while to figure out how to adjust the miter gauges. But once you do it’ll be your favorite miter saw.
My makita chargers can be set to play a melody so you know when the charge is completed, it’s very helpful.
It is a great saw …
Only thing is it has a laser who uses lasers anymore. A Light with a shadow line is way better and more accurate. regular thin kerf
All work with a light
Exactly.
Most wholesome video on yt.
Watching you so happy with this was just so good to watch.
I really want one now too!
Great initial review! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the new equipment after a year or more of use.
I've owned Makita saws for many years. This one looks like a great saw. I would like to see the "repeatable accuracy" test on it with guages. I'm sure with all your trim work you'll find out just how good it really does the job.
You should have bought the Bosch 12" glide miter saw. It is not cordless, but is way better than any other brand I've used so far (DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Ryobi, etc)
The Bosch one is very precise and dead-accurate. Just saying...
Hi RICHARD, I have the 10" model & love it! But only after some slight modifications out-of-the-box. I had to adjust the rails to get them to slide perfectly square on a long cross cut.
Get yourself a Stene detent plate.
I love the soft startup and how smooth it is to run. It doesn't jump on Startup like the 780.
Keep up the good work.
Hi Rick, I started reading through the comments to find yours, so to speak. I also have the 10” version and have the same issue that you describe. A full width cut is square to the fence at the front and back but dips off square in the middle. Can you describe how you managed to correct this problem? I otherwise love this saw but can’t use it for precision work.
@@torstenhansen4308 HI, look up a video by Builds & Stuff on UA-cam.
Makita saw curve cut. With a little patience you can get it to cut nice.
@Rick Frey. Thank you so much, I watched and will try that today. Hit or miss for sure but with a little patience….
@Torsten Hansen No problem. If you twist the rails down, it moves the blade to the right and vice versa. It doesn't take much movement at all. Use the widest board you can cross cut on and just keep checking it each time until near-perfect.
Still a Dewalt guy with two 10” and one 12”. I try to keep the 12” in the shop due to the weight but good to have for large crown at a job sight. I’ve been looking for another job saw. 10” Dewalt is still my favorite but can’t get the sliding compound anymore. Love your channel. Congrats on the new home!
Right now, before I watch, I'm interested in the results. I was seriously ready to get the 12 in corded version for my shop. Most all my other tools are Makita. I love them. The design of this saw was great in terms of space saving with the forward rails, etc. Two major problems that seemed persistent was the aluminum detent plate gets worn. Another woodworker started producing a stainless one. Makita should've done that from the start . I'm surprised they didn't. The other issue is how well it tracks on long sliding cuts. Several people commented on a parallelism defect where there was deflection in the middle of a cut. I decided to go with the dws 779 because just about every trim carpenter uses DeWalt, and has been forever, basically. Can't argue with that. But DeWalts slider takes up way too much real estate in a shop. They should've had a different design with the dust bag, so it's not hanging so far back. I use an elbow on the port to connect with a vacuum.
I knew it was going to be a makita, I didn't expect the 12 inch though. Makita tools are honestly very nice I keep thinking about switching all of my milwaukee over to makita lol
I was here in the DFW days, love following your channel!
Hi, I’m a finish carpenter, on my 23rd year in the industry, I actually have and use this exact miter saw AND I LOVE IT!! I’ve been using it for just under a year now and the only down side is it’s heavy, other then that it cuts true on every different miter.
I have the 10" version without the AWS - love the saw and never had issues. The battery life if incredible - even if the chargers are a bit bulky. Glad to see a Dewalkee guy say he likes it.
Find DeWalt battery and tools very over rated. They don’t hold a charge nearly as well as Milwaukee and the tools seem cheaply made.Just my observation.
The Dfw crown days don’t feel like that long ago… time flies I guess
I hadn’t thought about the timeline. But I learned how to install my first crown from one of his first videos. Must be 5 years ago now. Crazy.

Our local Home Depot is a small store and they don't have the floor space. I was able to get this saw on clearance for $325! The department manager said it never made it on the sales floor due to not having a space. It is a fantastic saw!
I’ve been around since before the name change. I don’t comment much because I don’t know much! A DIY guy who found your channel when I was building my house and was trying to learn a thing or two. House has been done a few years but I’m still watching LOL. Oh , and I couldn’t believe you had to use a Milwaukee blade to open that box…!
Did you consider the Bosch Axial-Glide mitre saw? I believe that will be my next mitre saw in the future.

I too have the Bosch glide. I also have MAKITA. There’s no comparison. Bosch is the best in the industry. Period!! I have a small cabinet shop for the past 21 years.
Bosch is totally amazing. Go try one out, you’ll agree!
Love the passion you bring to carpentry trades, anyways Makita has always built a very good product for the most part .
I'm using the 12" corded version of this saw. I had the same reaction you did. To top it off a 7 1/4" with the same rail system would be amazing. This saw weighs a freaking tonne.
I started watching when your channel was DFW crown. You helped me learn how to install crown. Thanks!
I like the boceh and depth of field on your video, which camera and lens are using, and what f-stop?
Agreed, that background blur is so smooth. Looks like it’s a Sony a7 III with a Zeiss Batis 2/25 (25mm f/2-22) and I’m sure it’s wide open or close to.
It’s a small step up from my M50 lol. FYI, He linked it in the description😁

Milwaukee and DEWALT may have an edge on power but the ease of use, ergonomics, and smoothness are superb. I’d like a DeKita shirt please 😂 thanks
My sliding chop saw is a Makita that I have owned for over 20 years. Great tool. I am a finish Carpenter. This saw has put lots of food on the table. Most of my power tools are Makita. Good tough tools that work. No duds.
I had a feeling you were going with the Makita. I've been a Makita junky for 15 years. Just excellent tools. Almost every tool I have is teal apart from cordless Milwaukee nailers.
Dude literally same
Same here. I still have a drill/ impactor combo set that is at least 12 years old that I still use every day. Just threw away the last battery maybe 3 years ago. Except for nailers Makita is all I'll use.
Now don’t think about the xdt16 impact you might just go over to Makita. I’ve had them al, and it’s Makita for me al, the way. And Dewalt is zero slouch. You just can’t deny when something is a step up ever over the crazy priced Festool. Also check out Wera and Wiha bits for your impact when you use them. I will say their first nigh guns are fantastic their just air BOO.
It's so so so nice to buy something and it be even better then you thought it would be. I hope she keeps you happy for years to come. Thanks for all your work on videos to help guys like me.
Your gonna love it! I've use one professionally for over a year and it is a fantastic saw. I would change the Lazer to a shadow line if I could, but it is still a great Lazer
The best description of how you feel when you're working with something or you really enjoy it is "The Fizz". It'd be safe to say that the new Makita miter saw gives you the fizz.
Watch Wrangerstar eh?
The look on your face absolutely says it all... Makita makes great stuff! I only wish that saw had the same power options as the FlexVolt 12" does. I would sell my FlexVolt in a heartbeat!
I have one of these and your review matches exactly my reactions. Spot on! I also started with the corded track saw I feel the same way about it as well. Top notch!
Still here....been following you for years....learning so much from you.
Thank you
Still remember when you changed a blade on your miter saw using a laser pointer! Mind blowing.✌️
When will the Milkita shirts be available?😁
Mildewakita...
I own the 10” version of this Makita cordless and I also have a12” Bosch glider (which is probably the best corded mitre saw on the market but it is so heavy it needs to stay in the shop!) The Makita took a couple of hours to do some final tweaking for perfectly square and angle alignment. Once that was done, this saw is incredible. It is consistently accurate and with the Forrester blade, the cuts are like glass with no burn marks on any type of hardwood. I originally bought the Milwaukee 10” but returned it as I could not get it to cut at 90 Deg, not once!! This Makita is a dream saw, you made a great choice!!

Started with Dewalt. Died in months .
Borrowed some Ryobi. Batteries never lasted.
Got Rigid for the warranty but didn’t like the feel.
Was tempted to get Milwaukee because that what most of the Distributors are carrying. But notice that most guys that had Milwaukee are more powerful but seemed like they self destructed.
Tried on Makita and fell in love. Ergonomics that for like a glove.
I’ve tried other since my switch and nothing has changed my mind.
I look at Makita like the Toyota of the tool world. Simple and works good for a long time.
A cordless miter saw that will be stationary in a wood shop idk man but I hear that saw is awesome. I hope it’s a wood cutting dream come true 🤙🏼
...right...?...THE situation to hardwire...
I have a makita 10” compound miter saw and I’m think of using it as a boat anchor. The slide is rough, when fully extended there about an 1/8 of play left and right. The stand sucks even worse, the wheel mounts are so close together that the stand flips over on its side when pulling it around. I have a dewalt 12” compound miter saw that is 12+ years old and is still more accurate than my brand new makita. There only one thing I like about the makita and that’s the dust collection/bag.
I hope you have better luck with your battery pack than what I and my son-in-law had. One side has stopped charging. It came with my 6 inch saw. My son-in-law’s sticks with Milwaukee. I am retired and have no need for a new tools. I appreciate your passion as I feel the same way about the corded 10 inch Hitachi that I purchased about 10 years ago. Always looking forward to future videos as I’ve been following you for over a decade.
I believe your an artist at our trade and I also believe it is fueled by your integrity grounded in humility. ❤️
I used to have a used beat up set of Makita tools and I miss them a lot. They got stolen and haven't been able to replace within my budget(I'm a homeowner, not a carpenter).
I do remember the DFW name when I gutted my kitchen. The knowledge really helped me avoid mistakes & keep costs down.
Shop is gonna be Stupid.... As in Stupid Dope Fresh next level Son!!!! (Jersey compliment) LOL!!! Stay Blessed Richard, Dirty Jersey out!!
CORDLESS SAW FOR A SHOP, WHY?
PAY FOR BATTERIES, PAY TO CHARGE THEM, HELP POLLUTE THE ENVIRONMENT FROM THE MANUFACTURING AND DISPOSAL OF THE BATTERIES?

EVEN SO, MOST OF THE TIME IN THE SHOP, MOST OF THE TIME YOU DON'T NEED IT IN THE FIELD. UNLESS IT WEIGHS LESS THAN 35 LBS, DOES NOT MAKE SENSE IN THE FIELD. DEFINITELY NOT IN A SHOP.
If you have a AC dust extractor, just plug the makita aws adapter into the pto port of the extractor.
Great video thanks for sharing I really like this saw looks like I’ll be shopping for a Cordless Makita soon.
