Ballard will let the market cool a little more but he’s not done signing yet.
The problem is Bradley's system is actually complicated and bringing in someone veteran or not at this stage if they're not familiar with the system there's gonna be a learning curve that may cause even a good FS to burnt

At this point I don't think Ballard is going to get anybody in free agency until around July. I think he is holding on to the money until the coaching staff decides where we are at after practices, injuries during practices, etc.
That’s definitely a possibility
He likes to wait, and see how the younger guys are coming along. Plus, if you bring in a veteran like Simmons or Diggs, it’s not going to take them long to get a handle on the defense.
Ballard better hurry. Training camp is just around the corner
