I call these noodles Udon because of the technique (stomping on them) which makes it SO easy to knead and faster to make. If I didn't stomp on them and just rolled them out, they are similar to eggless Chinese noodles from scratch, making for a more authentic dish. Either way you choose to prepare them, they're Amazing in this dish. Happy New Year everyone! Looking forward to rolling out more delicious recipes for you guys this year. Subscribe so you don't miss any :)
I have seen you on tiktok and I am so glad I found your channel I have been looking for next level cooking skills techniques flavor combinations and you're definitely that and then some looking so forward to watching your videos!
Hi Debbie, I haven't posted here on my shorts just yet. I will soon. In the meantime, you can find that video on my Instagram, Facebook or Tiktok. Thanks for watching.
I wish you posted everyday!!!! We are looking for a home. I pull out your video when I speak to builders and say, you need to build kitchen islands, like this. Happy 2021.
Hi! I just found your channel (not from TikTok) and I love what you do! I’m definitely going to try your sugar cookie recipe soon. Keep up the amazing work!! ❤️
Ç’EST MAGNIFIQUE happy new year! What a way of starting this year!! I know I’m constantly telling you but you are absolutely the best! Here we have another recipe to make to the ones we love, I’m visiting my brother and he loves Chinese food, I’ll make this to him. Greetings from Mexico!
This looks so tasty!!! Where did you get that wok??? Looks like a nice one. Also I’ve always wondered with mixing bowls, is it better to use metal or glass or is it a preference? TYI 😁
It’s Sichuan peppercorns not Szechuan peppercorns. Not trying to be a smart ass, just figured you’d want the correct way to say it since you’re making a Chinese dish. It’s like if I made Bolognese sauce but I called it Bologne Sauce. Cool channel. ✌🏼
I love your videos but udon noodles are Japanese and dandan noodles are a spicy Chinese Sichuan recipe (usually with more ingredients like cooked peanuts/soybeans and leafy greens like bok choy)
Hello Bridgette, I'm not claiming this is an Authentic dish, through my experimenting and research, I found these noodles were very similar to Chinese noodles from scratch but since I used the traditional Udon noodle technique of stomping on them, I referred to them as Udon noodles. I found they work beautiful and taste amazing in this dish.

This looks so amazingly yummy!! My brain is struggling with putting the bag on the floor and back on the counter so many times 😭😭
🤣 It'll be okay, I know your floor is crystal clean 😊
COOKING WITH SHEREEN I appreciate your faith in me! 😜
Nice socks 😉
Am I the only one who noticed that what she’s eating is not what she plated?? Lol Those are not the noodles she cooked. Looks amazing but 👀 c’mon
It’s just Chinese noodles…. NOT udon noodles
