Whoa, you’re telling me this is what I’ve been making??? I never knew this dish had a name. It’s literally the exact main ingredients & results. The only thing I didn’t add is whole peeled tomato & tomato sauce instead. Added some lime for some tangy freshness. And serve it with white rice!

Mrs. Shereen, great recipe & i really like it. Folks/subs/viewers, if i may offer a tip, on seafood, buy wild caught, like gulf shrimp, wild salmon, catfish, etc... i am 56 & from S/E rural Kentucky & farm raised does just does not have the flavor, we are landlocked here i would rather thaw out frozen gulf shrimp than use fresh farm raised , trust me , use the shrimp Mrs. Shereen is using & if you can buy fresh shell on shrimp vs frozen is even better as long as it is not farm raised, also, please use san marzano tomatoes, they are the best, i use a brand called " cento" , readily available in most grocers.
Steve Logan thank you Steve. Yes, you are so right about wild caught. Not sure if I mentioned it but I did list it on the ingredients needed in the description and also on my website. I only buy wild. And Cento San marzanos are awesome, agree! I actually found they tend to be more ripe when canned than the brand I used. Using them for my next recipe.
