What a great group of friends helping you like that. Sad to see the grapevine garden go but things are always changing in gardening and that includes moving. The new plot is going to be gorgeous and so convenient. Go you Danny.
Great aren't they!! Oh I'm sure I'll visit the grapevine garden though! A friend is taking it over, so atleast I know it's in good hands 🙌 but in the long run.. I know it'll be worth the transition 😊🌱
Good on you Danny, tough decision to make I'm sure but the fact you're trading it in for a new, closer plot makes it a bit easier. Loved the old photos 😍 I had the exact worry when I had my new plot and I was so lucky to get it right next door.
Thanks, Jb. Yeah, it's always a gamble. This plot could be covered in clubroot or anything, haha, but in the long run, it's better for me. Yeah, you were lucky to get them next to each other. It's all coming together, mate. It just takes a lot of time & money. Believe me, i know 🤦♂️😂Danny 🌱
Hey Danny, I think all of us are the types of folks that are always acquiring new projects and goals. New challenges and commitments while yet maintaining all the previous ones. Eventually we have to take a realistic inventory of all this activity and decide which ones must we continue and if there is excess then which ones can we let go. The term return on investment should help decide what to keep doing. Every moment and time period comes to an end like the chapters of a book. The scenery changes the people change and the new chapters of our live continue to be written. So written by us and some are written for us. The sum of the chapters is our life journey. We will always make good and bad decisions but to be mentally healthy we owe it to ourselves to purge the overburden unprofitable activates and expenses. We become ill and unhealthy when we continue to try and cram 30 or 40 hours into a 24 hour world. i am so happy you are taking proactive steps to manage your world and make the healthy decisions that are best for you. Unfortunately not all your choices will be the most popular but at the end of the days you must do what you feel is best at the given moment. Good luck with the new plans Cya next thyme bye for now, Steven
Hey Steven! Wise words & you're so right. I've always been good at balancing my life well. I don't know how I fit all my activities in.. but I do. Haha. I need to be happy & I need it to be closer. Within time I know it will be the best decision 😊🌱
We don't really watch for the location - we love to see you and what you're getting up to and growing - things happen for a reason the plot near you came up at the perfect time just as you were about to plant out 🫛🫛🫛 - it's serendipity 🌿🍅🐝🦋🌻ps can't wait to see what's going on in that old shed 🫣🤭 love from cloudy Whitby 🌻
Hi Danny, Growing up is not always easy 🥰 I really think you made some new amazing upgrades!! You can do it!!! And whatever you decide il back you up 😘 🐝Thanks for the great video 🌻
Wowzers. I love all the fruit you will inherit on the new plot. I little fruit orchard will be so cool. I totally get the convenience of having your plots closer to each other, so you can keep an eye on them better. Always pays to think about aging with your garden. Friends are so important in life. You are a lucky man. Onward and upward.🥰
Awh seeing your friends all come and help 🥲 that was so lovely! Mustn’t have been an easy decision, but I think you’ve done the right thing! I am so excited to see the progress 🌱 it’s going to look wonderful! 🌸
Aww thanks Seren! Yes it was so lovely seeing them come through the gate with their forks. They don't know how much pressure they've taken off my shoulders. I'd have lost so many crops in the polytunnel for sure. Your plots looking amazing too! We need to visit each other's plots! Let's get this done soon! Danny ♥️🌱
After watching your channel for a year or two, it makes complete sense to me that you would take on a new plot close to the fig & olive and give up the grapevine garden. It seems that the process and the projects bring you as much (actually more) joy as the end result. I really enjoyed this video and can't wait to see your new adventure unfold! So excited for you :) I won't comment on your chicken decision since you asked us not to, but maybe just remember that whatever you decide will be fine because you're not locked in to that decision for life, you know? You can always get chickens later or not have chickens later after your schooling is finished etc... It's all good.
Thank you for the wise words! You're totally right. The chickens... maybe in the future once uni settles. Next year is an intense year. So I need to prepare for that storm! Danny 🌱
It was a difficult decision; however, I feel it's a good one for you. You'll still have two plots and they'll be much easier to tend. Your excitement and plans for this new one shows, and I wish you great success with it.
Thank you Danny for taking us along on the journey to transform your new plot❤. You'll honor the Grapevine Garden by using all the lessons it taught to make your new plot amazing❤❤
I think you have made a very sensible decision and I know you like a challenge. I look forward to seeing the plot develop into the beautiful garden it will soon become. You are such an inspiration to other gardeners.
Thank you. This was the perfect example of.. It's better to work as a team than on your own. A great group of friends made it possible. Here's to the next few months of designing and creating a beautiful growing space.
How exciting Danny love watching the transformation if a run down plot. It will be so much better for you and the channel will flow well as u won’t have to keep going away to the other plot. Keep up the good work and well done to the digging gang for getting u started xx
Fig & Olive! Exactly why I gave up my first plot, two was too many for me to manage (with the travel), so I totally get where you are coming from. My vote for the plot name is, "Up Yours"
Danny. Like you say its a bit of land. Do whats best for you. I quite like the grapevine garden name. But again your choice. Ill be following you what ever you do as your one of my favourite channels. Be great to see the new plot taking shape. We are lucky you arent having a break from the channel with all the work study commitments
Thank you. Yes i like the name too and I think I'll end up keeping it... besides Id already bought a grapevine garden plot sign haha! We shall see.. I'm glad I'm one of your favourites to watch. Danny 🌱
Hi Danny Well done making a hard choice of choosing a closer plot, as I have had to make the same choices in the past closer plots are easier as you get older and have a busy life. You have some great friends to help you move to your new plot. I will be eagerly waiting to watch this plot grow up to the standards of the Fig and Olive plot have a great time Danny and will be looking for new ideas for my own plot.
Thank you, val. You're always so encouraging, and I genuinely enjoy all the comments! I get so many, and it truly does push me on. I don't just do the channel for myself.. I truly do it for you all, too. Danny 🌱 ♥️
Such a big achievement already matey. Great stuff and the move was the right thing, having the second plot so close will save a ton of time and effort. Great video, seems we both been busy
Tough decision, but a good one I think. As a fairly new subscriber, I love your channel and watching you transform a garden plot. Thank you for sharing your gardening journey!
Hello Vic! Thank you for recently subscribing! That's very kind of you to say.. let's hope the new plot is just as beautiful as the Fig & Olive plot. Danny 🌱
Definitely a good change Danny, having the plots close together will make life so much easier. I will look forward to seeing how your new plot changes and grows over the rest of the year. Keep the small tunnel you have, I'm sure you can still make good use of it on your new plot. Good luck with it all Danny.
Loved this! Really heartwarming seeing all your friends getting stuck in! You made the grapevine what it was and I’m sure you will make this space really special! So many plans and I know you don’t mess about 😂 🌱
How great that all this kind of fell together. I think anyone has to do what's right for themselves. Something I wished I stuck to when I was younger. I'm still waiting for a plot and I'm so envious that you have so much space! Envious in a nice way. I'm excited to see how you transform this space. You have a great group of friends and that's how the community should be. Great episode.
Aww fingers crossed you get one soon! I hope you do! Keep onto them! Sometimes they are a little lacks with giving them out. Keep me updated! Yes I'm very lucky to have a group of plotfriends who help when needed 🌱♥️
It's been a year. And I know of a few that are sitting idle. Frustrating but I think it's hard to give up a plot because of the love you put into it. Still frustrating though lol.
I think having your new plot near to the fig and olive will really make a difference to your time, very exciting although bittersweet as you're saying goodbye to the grapevine, lovely to see all hands on deck and looking forward to seeing the new plot develop 😊
You've got to do what's right for you Danny. You made the Grapevine Garden into something special! Really looking forward to seeing your new adventure!
Huge congratulations on your new plot! I can only imagine how hard it was to give up the Grapevine Garden because we invest so much of ourselves into our plots that they almost become part of us, but you definitely made a great decision! It makes total sense and I can't wait to see how your new gardening chapter unfolds. You've already made a fantastic start and it was heartwarming to see everyone pitching in with the initial tidy up. Well done Danny!
Thank you for your support. Yes, it wasn't an easy decision to say the least. But in the long run.. it'll be worth it. Very fortunate to have lovely plot friends. Danny 🌱
I asked you a few months back what to do with mine. I had a new job working in schools which meant I didn't have as much time for the allotment. I asked would you move yours home and you told me to do what makes it better and easier for me. And mate you have done what's best and easier for you ( in the long run) it's hard and scary but well done you
Transitions are so hard for me personally, even when they are necessary! I feel your pain. Just know that whatever you do it will all work out. Like planting something in the wrong place you can always move it or just dig it out. I was processing some garlic I'd recently harvested when you did that first look then looked up when you were done with the help of all your neighbors. I jumped up and had to rewind to make sure I didn't miss anything! WOW!!! Y'all did amazing work!!!🙄🙄🙄
@@TheGrowUpChannel LoL. I'm a guy that has had a wood chip pile on the city's sidewalk in front of my house for 2 years. They've told me they'd like it back one day. 😭😭😭
What I love about watching these is the plots emerging structurally from the chaos. When people plant established plots is just the same old same old.SO EXCITED to see what you create here! Happy Growing on and Happy Growing up Dear Danny
Absolutely Karen! I do try and keep things interesting but I agree. Of you've seen one raised bed filled with corn, you've seen them all haha! Here's to a few months of projects! The shed is going to be a dream shed for sure!! Danny 🌱
All looking good Danny you've made such a difference to the plot in 3 days, will be so much easier for you having both plots so close together now. Looking forward to watching you tackle the 7ft brambles 😂
It’s beautiful Danny, I extended my garden just a little bit 20 long x5 wide and it’s great haven’t plant up anything as yet, but your garden looks so good and now you have the two plots so close it’s easier, waiting to see what comes next your friends are wonderful❤❤
Awesome Danny, looking forward to seeing what you do with the new plot! Your decision makes complete sense, it’ll be so much easier to manage both plots now 🙂
@@TheGrowUpChannel Your interior design experience shows on your plot!! The infrastructure of the plot is giving me the direction I need when I start my new garden!
Hi Danny! You have to make the decision on whats best for you, if that means moving on from the grapevine into pastures new then so be it. Plots closer together sound much more manageable and im sure whatever you decide for the chooks will be the best thing for them and you! Love the new name. Jen x
Haha! I look at the projects and get excited. Somethings will be rushed out.. like the crops.. then the bigger projects I can take my time with. Danny 🌱
Good luck Danny. I gave up half my plot last year as I couldn't manage the whole plot. It was a difficult decision but as I'm getting older with more aches & pains it was the right one. Sad to see the grapevine garden go but looking forward to seeing the new one develop. t will be amazing!
Sometimes, we need to pull up our big boy pants and realise we can't do it all. The Grapevine plot will always be the start of the channel.... but for me to continue and be happy.. it was just too far away, and I struggled to get bark to it every year. In time, the new one will be just as beautiful. Danny 🌱
Oh gosh, I felt so sad to see the grapevine go..😢.. but seeing what you’ve achieved with your amazing friends in just 3 days! WOW. The new plot is already looking 100% better. Well done Danny. I’m looking forward to the progress now. 😊😊
Exciting times Danny! Definitely makes sense. You and the all the help have made a lot of progress already but will be fun following the journey of getting this one turned around. Take it easy mind 👍🌱
Hi Danny, sometimes it is difficult when we struggle to stay up to speed on our plots, study & work. You must look after yourself and feel you have made the right decision. I am so pleased you have your lovely friends to help you on a new adventure ❤ good luck and I know you will be so happy. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Makes complete sense to make life easier for you it’s hard enough, we have three plots next to each other and that’s difficult enough never mind further away x go with ur heart ❤️ i can’t wait to see you’re new plot coming to life
You thrive on a new project Danny...youll probably single-handedly transform the entire site one day! Whoever gets the Grapevine Garden has struck gold. I cannot wait to see what you do with the new plot...it'll come up with its' own name in time ❤❤❤ Perhaps The Old Shed Plot 😊
Was worried at the start that you were giving up! But so excited for you! What wonderful plot team you have, it’s already looking transformed, can’t wait to see more- wow have you got loads to plant out!
That was an awesome transformation in 3 days Danny and you found time to do Cheryl's water feature, well done you. It looked like everyone had fun helping you on your new plot. Looking forward to seeing updates, maybe it could be the pear and apple plot? Take care 😊
I guess we all have to the best for ourselves and long term it all makes sense for you Danny, I love the team work you guys have on the plot and reminded me of a Alan Titchmarsh show😁💪👍.
Oh wow, Danny 🥰 that is a big decision and even bigger still to make 🐓 I can totally understand the process, though, and it you can only make these decisions based on what's best for you 😊 Very exciting times ahead. It's brilliant that the new plot is right next to the Fig &Olive one and to have all of the champion plot neighbours to come and help you to prep it ❤ 💪💪💪 it's good for you to mention, it was over the course of 3 days and it looked like it was all the same day 😂 I thought you had a never-ending every supply 😂 It's all nicely planted up now 🎉🎉 best of luck with the new site 😊💚🌿
Well now young Danny I've got to say I've enjoyed this video so much! It's amazing to see how much can be achieved over such a short space of time and I'm looking forward to seeing it develop. The shed - ooooh go on you can work some Danny magic on that ;) Well done to all who came along and helped - are they available for hire?
Hi Danny I have been following you for a while now on this channel, and I was not aware of the grapevine garden so I cannot comment on that. But from watching you at the fig and olive, I have enjoyed your plot and all the gardening you have done. I think your new plot is a wonderful location to have. It makes sense to me to have the second plot a lot closer, where you can expand on your creativity and enjoy these 2 plots together. Best of wishes to you, and I look forward to seeing what you do with your new plot 🙂 xxx
That would make sense.. the channel started there.. but slowly, I've shown less and less as I didn't want people to be attached to it. There was a method in my madness. I agree. It totally makes sense to me to have them next to each other. Thank you for watching. Danny 🌱
Oh Danny, how wonderful is that, new plot, plans to make, I'm so glad you are taking us with you while you do it all. What good friends you have too, so nice to have such a community spirit. But, as they say, you reap what you sow, and you deserve all the help, you help others and you're a ray of sunshine. I can't wait to see the progress, it's great to be able to watch someone take on a very untidy, overgrown plot, like a lot of us have in the past, and see what can be done. You've done the right thing Danny, it will be far better for you in the long run. Xx
Hi Danny, the new plot being so close to the fig and olive plot is a blessing for you. It is amazing how much can be done when you have great friends and lots of enthusiasm. Your hard work on the grapevine garden will bless whoever takes it over, and you will reap the benefit of having your new one. It is going to be exciting to see what you do in the coming months. Take care, don't overdo things. Have a great week ahead xx
Thank you, Jean. Yes, plenty of work done on the grapevine garden.. but here's to the future. I know in the end it'll be the right decision. Tomorrow is a bank holiday here. A beach day with the family (and leo) Danny 🌱
It looks great and so kind of all your friends to help you get started. I've been wondering, ever since you took on the fig and olive plot, if and when you would find something closer. I am happy for you and always do what you yourself feel like doing, it is important that you feel good and enjoy it. Looking forward to following the pear plot 😃
Thank you! Yes, it was always the plan anyway. Hence why I've shown less and less of it.. purely so the plaster didn't hurt as much for viewers. I am always self-conscious of how viewers will react too. So it's been in the pipeline for a long time really..
Wow Danny, what a transformation, sorry still catching up with some old UA-cam videos, though decision giving up an established plot but you have all the good memories, keep up the good work bud and happy gardening. Sam (Nottingham)
That's okay, sam! Yes, it was a tough decision and not taken lightly, but in the long run, the logistics and being close together would benefit me. Sadly, the grapevine plot was the sacrifice. She will be missed but onwards!!!! Danny 🌱
I think it makes so much sense to have your plots so close to each other, not least to shorten the walk to Linda’s cafe 😂😝 A lot of work now but most definitely worth it in the end. A wise move. You also have the opportunity to build the plot layout around the fruit cage, which you were finding tricky to work in to the existing layout of the grapevine plot. I love what you’ve all done. So wonderful to have such a community to help. Lovely to see. Well done team! It needs its own identity….not sure what that is but I am sure it’ll come to you over time.
Thanks, Clare. Yes, in the long run, it'll be worth it for me and the channel...plus it's now easier to record. As you know, the fruitcage and where to put it was a headache. Issue avoided. Danny 🌱
It will be nice for you to be able to streamline all your work spaces. You've got a lot done on that new plot, already. You've got a good bunch of allotment friends there. 👍
When I read the headline my first thoughts were -No, not closing down youtubing😱. So What a relief, you are "just" changing ground for your crops🤩🤗😅. I'm so happy you share the process!!!!!! And nice to see all the great neighbors 💪👍👏🤝and their willingness to help you out💚💚
Onward and upward Danny. How lucky to get a plot that close. I've just taken on a new plot but I'm not as a advanced as you yet. But I had so much rubbish and it was everywhere. So I'll just plod along behind you and take some instruction from your journey. ❤
Heyy it's not a race and I'm a psychopath in the garden! So don't compare your plot to mine. I go home hungry most days! Haha I never know when to stop... but goodluck with yours. It's not a race. Enjoy every moment of it. Danny 🌱
Haha. I will probably go hungry this year, the way I'm going. Not that it will do me any harm with my Michelin man figure. Haha. I'm counting on you to lead by example Danny. And we can virtually have a little beverage when we're on top of it. 🥂🍻
It would have been a simple decision for me. I still wonder how all allotment gardeners travel away from home to garden. That’s a huge endeavor and hats off to ya all! To have both plots together is wonderful!! The convenience to everything you mentioned And you still have a great view! I guess if you were to move now is the time to restart plants. Many hands make for light work and it was a great decision! Question-what happens to things that you add to allotments-do they stay or can you remove them?
Absolutely! Yeah it'll be worth it in the end. To answer your question, yes anything that's on the plot can be removed. I've sold the greenhouse but gifted all the rest to the next owner. I will take other things like raised beds and my trees. The new owner has agreed I can keep my crops on the plot ( fruit trees, garlic and onions etc) until it's ready to be harvested or moved. However if the new owner didn't agree to this.. you'd have to leave them.
To be honest I thought you'd been spending most of your time at the fig and olive of late so I think it's a natural move... plus, you've made it a far more "natural" looking plot... the curves and different features are lovely. The new plot being just across the path is brilliant and will provide you plenty of linked space to turn into a real oasis. Onwards and upwards! Lovely work! You have such a lovely community there... it's really heart warming! Bravo to all your helpers! Any tips about moving fruit trees? I have some unwanted trees along my fence line that I am trying to remove the stumps from right now (tricky) and I want to move some of my fruit trees near that... they are fairly established, a few years (the peach had a good crop this year). We're nearly into winter now so I presume they are just about dormant... but any tips to improve their chance of survival when moved? Perhaps the new plot is the Fruitful fields?
Yeah I visit the grapevine plot for the chickens etc . But it was mainly used for long term crops like sprouts , leeks etc.. atleast now it'll be in eye sight so I can keep an eye on it more. I'd definitely move them in late autumn and winter. Do not feed the new hole, let them push roots out to find new food. Good luck with them. It's a job and half! Keep it well watered if there's not a lot of rain forecast. Danny 🌱
@@TheGrowUpChannel brilliant, thanks for that because I was planning on putting a bunch of compost in the new holes... I'll leave off on that now (perhaps add it as a mulch around the top instead).
@cpoco yeah mulch the top for sure! Also.. dig a circle hole from the tree and dig a new hole in a square. Sounds daft. But the corners will be filled in with softer soil.. the roots will hit the corners and shoot outwards, rather than coil around.. if the soil is dense. Goodluck! Danny 🌱
@@TheGrowUpChannel Ahhh, thanks for that. Yes the soil is pretty heavy clay not too far down... so any help I can give it is no doubt good, thanks again :)
You are the only person who can make that decision, for your peace of mind. Someone will get a beautiful plot, and I know they will appreciate it, hopefully someone who has never gardened before, excellent start for them. Good luck with your new plot.❤
Hi from Cardigan. The greenhouse maybe a Halls , they do a new toughened glass set and a bag of new clips. Had one of theirs for years and is as good as new. Fitting a solar fan this year. New plot really coming along , Simplify potato buckets ? Just rcvd another 30 for the container tables (can't bend down). Good luck with everything. Lloyd.
Can’t wait to see the plans for the new plot. It makes sense to move next to the fig and olive plot. I struggled on two sites and the trek between plots and they were five minute drive from each other.
Big man, never regret anything you do. It will be whatever you make it. Enjoy the journey. Well done on making the decision, it was yours, so own it. Also, well done to your helpers. Love that!
Love watching a plot revamp. Not sure of your reasons for putting the beds parallel with the front path but if you turn them 90° looks like you might be able to fit 3 across with gaps between, and then it might not be necessary to cut them down. I guess the most obvious name for your new plot would be for the fruit trees on it.
I'm so glad the channel is staying i think i would of cried if you gave that up, i think you made a wise move as its easier to just pop next door to the new plot xx
Aww i was a tinker with the thumbnail! I do hope it didn't panic you. I've no plans to hang my wellies up just yet haha! Thank you for your continuing support and comments. Danny 🌱
Hi Danny While it’s so nice to have a finished plot …. The process of seeing the transformation of a tired plot is incredibly satisfying. I enjoy that process just as much as planting. We can tell that’s it’s the right thing to do …why ?? Just listen to your enthusiasm as you tell us about your future plans 😀😀😀 take care
No need to worry about what others think Danny, it’s what is important to you that counts. I love the new plot. We were lucky enough to get our 2nd plot which adjoined our other. Makes perfect sense sense & look forward to the transformation 🎉
Wow Danny I think your decision while a tough one has been a good one. What you and your allotment friends have achieved in three days is nothing short of miraculous. What a difference all your graft has made. And how easy was to just take your plants from next door wander over and pop them in. That shed however ...spooky as 👻🕸🕷😄 That is going to be PROJECT!
It will be so much easier for you to manage. Which means more enjoyable. . It's what gardening is all about. Everything changes seasons crops weather people. Good luck
Perfect decision taking on the plot that's closer to Fig and Olive, never should feel the need to justify decisions 😊And amazing progress on the new plot, excited to see how it develops. 😊💕
We had good fun that day digging your plot didnt we. That strawberry 🍓 cider was gorgeous thank you😍 I must buy some! Sad giving up your grapevine garden but soooo exciting having a new plot. 😃 We must have a party to celebrate its opening 🥳 🎉😂. Can't wait to see what's amonst those brambles! That shed is so quirkey, hope you keep it as it has character! 😂 What a transformation already, well done Danny and a great video 👏 Allotment life will be so much easier for you now that your plots are near each other and not as far for you to come to The Feel Good Garden Café 😂 What an amazing prize cabbage, that dinner looked delicious 😋 All the best with your new plot, I know you're going to make it look amazing and already looking sooo much better ❤
We always have a laugh, whatever we are up to, linda! If I can save the shed, I will. Or re-purpose as much as I can. Yes, the brambles are the next project, I think! The strawberry cider was beautiful. I just knew you'd enjoy it haha. Danny 🌱

This will be much better for you in the long run, and getting it ready will be so much fun! Good luck Danny!
Thank you so much. You're right! Atleast now I can keep an eye on both. Danny 🌱
Danny 🌱
Whatever you do, we will watch 🥰 🌱👌
That's very kind of you! Thank you, as always for watching and supporting! Danny 🌱
It was a difficult decision; however, I feel it's a good one for you. You'll still have two plots and they'll be much easier to tend. Your excitement and plans for this new one shows, and I wish you great success with it.
Thank you so so much! Yes I'm excited to redesign this, using the knowledge and mistakes I made on the previous plots..Danny 🌱
Thank you Danny for taking us along on the journey to transform your new plot❤. You'll honor the Grapevine Garden by using all the lessons it taught to make your new plot amazing❤❤
Absolutely!! I learnt so much there, good and bad! But here's to a fresh start and fresh new projects 😊🌱
I think you have made a very sensible decision and I know you like a challenge. I look forward to seeing the plot develop into the beautiful garden it will soon become. You are such an inspiration to other gardeners.
Aww thanks Brenda! Yeah, deep down something had to give. I know deep down it's for the best. Danny 🌱
What an amazing achievement in such a short period of time. Great efforts by you and the wonderful allotment community. Bravo!
Thank you Julie! Yes it will be so much easier now. I love a good plot transformation too! Haha Danny 🌱
Fig & Olive! Exactly why I gave up my first plot, two was too many for me to manage (with the travel), so I totally get where you are coming from.
My vote for the plot name is, "Up Yours"
Up yours 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I just screamed laughing in the polytunnel 😂😂
@@TheGrowUpChannel I aim to please LOL
No you don't lol
Danny 🌱
Hi Danny
Well done making a hard choice of choosing a closer plot, as I have had to make the same choices in the past closer plots are easier as you get older and have a busy life.
Agreed, tony. Thank-you! Need to think for the future. Danny 🌱
We’ve got some new plot holders on site who appear a bit stunned by the work required so I’ll tell them about this video to inspire them 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh please tell them. It does get easier! I promise! Danny 🌱
@@TheGrowUpChannel I know … they look at my plot and ask how long… I always say little and often 👍🏻 love the plot!!! Good decision x

Thank you jenny! I think I'll be keeping the small tunnel.. I just have to work out how to carry it up the narrow plot paths 😂😂😂😂
@@TheGrowUpChannel definitely film that! 😂

Loved this! Really heartwarming seeing all your friends getting stuck in! You made the grapevine what it was and I’m sure you will make this space really special! So many plans and I know you don’t mess about 😂 🌱
Thank you Amir. Yes It was a lovely day all together. They helped a lot! Here's to the future projects ☺️🌱
Very frustrating! I'd nag them again! Lol
I think having your new plot near to the fig and olive will really make a difference to your time, very exciting although bittersweet as you're saying goodbye to the grapevine, lovely to see all hands on deck and looking forward to seeing the new plot develop 😊
Thanks Gem. Yeah it's bittersweet..but in the longrun it'll be worth it. Danny 🌱
Wow you’ve done so much to the new space already. Looking forward to following the new journey and seeing the transformation! ❤
Thank you so much. Yes plenty done, but plenty to do too! Haha I do love a project! Here's to the next few months of planning and building. Danny 🌱
You've got to do what's right for you Danny.
You made the Grapevine Garden into something special!
Really looking forward to seeing your new adventure!
Thanks mate. Yeah it's a lovely plot! And many happy memories there. Onwards and upwards! Danny 🌱
Wow !! makes so so much sense with the new plot being closer . Great to see everyone muck in with you 👏👏👏love this video Danny xx
Thank you so much. Yes in the long run it'll be worth it I know. We have a lovely group to help each other. Thank you for watching. Danny 🌱
And mate you have done what's best and easier for you ( in the long run) it's hard and scary but well done you
Absolutely! My stone is always rolling. Life's too short to be doing things that are getting you down. Here's to a new season on a new plot. Danny 🌱
WOW!!! Y'all did amazing work!!!🙄🙄🙄
Haha! You're right. Oh I bet that was funny! It was a bit of a change wasn't it! I couldn't believe it myself.. how much was done in 3 days. Danny 🌱

Thank you so much. Yes, I was exhausted after day 3 haha! Very lucky with the plot family. They are just great! Danny 🌱
Hi Danny! You have to make the decision on whats best for you, if that means moving on from the grapevine into pastures new then so be it. Plots closer together sound much more manageable and im sure whatever you decide for the chooks will be the best thing for them and you!
Love the new name.

Hey Jen. Thank you very much. He's it's definitely the right decision. Was a tough one though. Danny 🌱

@@TheGrowUpChannel I certainly get the excitement but you are smart enough to take 1 step at a time so it all gets done.
As soon as all the veg is planted and the polytunnel has all the tomatoes in.. I can slow down a little then. 😊
Hi Danny
I have been following you for a while now on this channel, and I was not aware of the grapevine garden so I cannot comment on that.
Xx
Thank you Jean! Yes I was very lucky to have some help! Your kind words are always appreciated. Happy Growing. Danny ♥️
You have to do what is right for you Danny and I’ll be watching along. Sad to see the old plot go but exciting times ahead. ❤
Thank you. Yes it is very sad as I love that plot. I really do.. it's just not in the right position for me. Sadly. But onwards and upwards. Danny 🌱
@@TheGrowUpChannel Enjoy your day at the beach, and say "hi" to Leo from one of his fans XX
Danny 🌱
Do whatever you want, mate. I'm sure I can speak for others when I say we will still be watching.
Good luck. Not that you need it.
Thanks Stewart. Very kind to say! Here's to a good summer.. we hope!!
I think it makes so much sense to have your plots so close to each other, not least to shorten the walk to Linda’s cafe 😂😝
A lot of work now but most definitely worth it in the end.
Thank you. You know it'll get done, haha. very lucky to have a nice plot family. Danny 🌱🥰

Exciting changes Danny. You'll whip it all together in no time. Happy new plot wishes.
Thank you. We both know I will... I never stop😂😂
Life is full of changes, Danny. wishing you the best.
Thank you Carol 😊🌱

Enjoy your new plot. Lovely allotment community you have with the help.
Absolutely! We are a great bunch and lucky to have each other. We help as much as we can. Danny 🌱
Hey Helen. The beds. Purely due to the position of the sun 😊 I've decided I'm in no rush to chop them down. They may just stay as they are 😊🌱
Ah thought that might be the reason.

makes total sense sad but i can see the pros more than the cons on this, you got this Danny xx
Yeah, I juggled back and forth for a while and I feel I've made the right decision for me. Danny 🌱
No need to worry about what others think Danny, it’s what is important to you that counts. I love the new plot. We were lucky enough to get our 2nd plot which adjoined our other. Makes perfect sense sense & look forward to the transformation 🎉
Thanks Vanessa.. that is so nice of you to say. Yes it's handy if they are next to each other. I need to think of the bigger picture. 😊
Totally get it. Very sensible idea. It will be amazing 🎉❤
I think so too! Thank you. I was so nervous filming this video too!
It's the right choice Dan ,good luck, cant wait to see the transformation
Thank you Ian! Means a lot. Danny 🌱

Thank you! Yes I've got so many plans haha
Congratulations on the new plot! It is so close! And how nice of your friends to give you a hand!
Very kind of them to lend a hand. I'm sure the plot will be ready within a few weeks. Danny 🌱
Haha, thanks, Dawn. Yes very very grateful for the help I received. Yes the shed is very creepy .. at the moment 😀
It will be so much easier for you to manage. Which means more enjoyable. . It's what gardening is all about. Everything changes seasons crops weather people. Good luck
I agree carol! I need to think of thr future and the bigger picture. Here's to a beautiful growing season. Danny 🌱
Perfect decision taking on the plot that's closer to Fig and Olive, never should feel the need to justify decisions 😊And amazing progress on the new plot, excited to see how it develops. 😊💕
Thank you so much. You're right. Onwards and upwards. Danny 🌱
What a transformation already, well done Danny and a great video 👏 Allotment life will be so much easier for you now that your plots are near each other and not as far for you to come to The Feel Good Garden Café 😂
What an amazing prize cabbage, that dinner looked delicious 😋
All the best with your new plot, I know you're going to make it look amazing and already looking sooo much better ❤
We always have a laugh, whatever we are up to, linda! If I can save the shed, I will. Or re-purpose as much as I can. Yes, the brambles are the next project, I think! The strawberry cider was beautiful. I just knew you'd enjoy it haha. Danny 🌱
