I think I would try to combine a little paint at least, maybe using the base sticker as a map. Just to try to give it the realness that your originals have instead of looking like a decal so much.
Also in my opinion the result is nowere near the painted ones, maybe it's the drawing or the fact they aren't brush painted or because they don't get narrower towards the top. However it's a good solution if you want resin fish acquarium but you don't want to spend weeks practicing painting or you aren't enough skilled

Hi, thanks for watching! I live in the UK and bought both of those items from stores that were local to me. I can link the gravel but I can't see the bowls online. They were called 'dipping bowls' and came as a set of 3. You should be able to find something similar from a local store. If you don't see the gravel at a local craft store then try a pet store that sells aquariums www.hobbycraft.co.uk/white-decorative-gravel-600g/641693-1005

I shop at Michael's and they have stuff like sand, gravel, moss and other things like that. I have that stuff at the ready to use with resin because I used it previously to make a fairy garden.
There will always be a faint witness line between two layers of epoxy resin. It is barely noticeable from above, but more evident from the side. Your best chance of keeping it to a minimum is to pour the next layer just as the previous one has started to firm up. I did try one in a glass bowl but found that without the white gravel background the border around the stickers was a lot more visible. 😎♠

They look better against a white background or you could cut the border out I guess, which might look OK. If you look at these through the side of a clear vessel then they can't really be seen from that angle as they are designed to be viewed from the top.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Most of my videos are speeded up between 2x and 4x actual speed, which means I can't record audio whilst I'm filming. I could narrate the video afterwards, but 65% of my viewers don't speak English. So I went for the option of subtitles, and in my newer videos they are close captioned so you can auto-translate into a different language, or even turn them off. I know my music choices won't appeal to everybody, but at least you can turn the volume down.
